I can definitely see one more international season happening, either in Toronto, Vancouver, or Rio in Brazil. They really need to hit a MAJOR city since this season has breathed a little life into the series. Depending on where they go next season can really determine if they can even surpass a season 30. I think they can if they play their cards right.
I'm assuming all of the people suggesting Atlanta have never actually been there. Atlanta is a great city for business... the Real World, not so much. Ideal locations for the show are those where the cast can live within walking distance of a downtown area with a bunch of bars and restaurants. Atlanta has a lot of nightlife, but the city is very spread out. Getting caught in the wrong part of town at night is a great way to get mugged or shot.

are there any speculated cities for this season
Miami is a rumored one. John Murray hinted in an interview that it "may be time" to go to ATL
Speculated cities are never disclosed. The "one" will be disclosed as the cast begins filming.

It looks like Heather is leaving NOLA now.

I still don't understand what the **** she was thinking.
On Heather's recent Instagram post, she deleted a few comments regarding Zito. :( Has Zito stepped out of the closet? Will he return to the Challenges? I'm eager to find out. Hoping I do..
Remember when everyone thought Heather was a replacement for Rivals 2? I think that's when they went on Couples Therapy. I don't think they were gone that long. I don't know how the show works, but here's an update on Zito and the Heater situation. Dustin has a penchant for uttering the phrase, "You know what I'm sayin'?" It's like fingernails on a chalk board!
So what storylines would you guys like to see We're all good at criticizing -that's not an insult, I believe in honesty and constructive criticism- but what would make the show better for the last season? What storylines do you thing would bring in ratings?
So what storylines would you guys like to see
An uncle tom vs a hard core proud african american vs a ******* southerner vs. a gay guy/lesbian A "s*ut" vs a "classy" sorority girl. Jesus freak vs. an atheist.
The problem to me is that they still aren't casting real enough people. Everyone girl isn't a model and every guy isn't a gym rat.
No one on Portland is a gym rat nor a model (At least not a model that could make a living off their looks). They need to go the complete other way and cast people that make heads turn when they walk down the street.

Some of people from the last few seasons apologize way too easily and it's obvious they don't mean it. I would also like to see a more diverse cast.

Twelve edisodes of yelling at each other about the same **** is not likely to be a ratings winner, in my opinion.
There are quite a few people who can make heads turn from the last few seasons but their personality is that of stale cereal.
John Murray said in a recent interview that one of the first things they look at during casting is if the person "is attractive or has an interesting look". I personally don't want to watch a show with 7 ugly people, but they dont all have to be models. I want to see a season of a good mix..Back to New York comes to mind - everyone was cute but not like "omg model status". I feel like they need to casting more suicide girls, Frankie SD style chicks, mixed with all american looking kids and urban kids. That would create a good dynamic. I just don't get it. The Bad Girls Club ALWAYS has such a diverse looking cast and RW just falls flat. I said it once, and I'll say it again. I hate when they cast passive aggresive people. Alex, Pris, Sam, Zach, Nate, Jessica, Ana, Marlon, Cooke, Leroy, the entire DC cast..all pointless..
Does anyone reading this forum know the difference between ensemble casting and finding the seven (or 8) most interesting, dynamic people from among the pool of applicants? Which approach is used by BMP and why? No fair searching vevmo's hstory for the answer, :teapot:
An uncle tom vs a hard core proud african american vs a ******* southerner vs. a gay guy/lesbian
**** recipe for disaster
Does anyone reading this forum know the difference between ensemble casting and finding the seven (or 8) most interesting, dynamic people from among the pool of applicants? Ensemble casting is when they pick the cast members based on how they'll interact with each other, so like Yvan said, they pick a jesus freak vs. an atheist, a gay guy vs a close-minded *******, etc. The other one is just picking the 7 most interesting applicants. And I'm guessing BMP uses the first approach because it creates more drama.

I think this Portland cast could use a Leroy(and would probably boost ratings)on this cast.

You can be ugly and still have an interesting story and make up for it. You can cure a Trey
You can cure a Trey
Let us know how that goes. :bee:
Absolutely not true! When you look at the reality career of SallyAnn Salsano, Jersey Shore's creator, you see a track record of skilled accomplishments both in working for others in with her own company, 495 Productions. SallyAnn Salsano - IMDb If anything, SallyAnn gave Jacquelyn French exactly what MTV was looking for in JS. There are many similar creative elements broadly used across the reality TV genere, but SallyAnn's shows have a distinctly unique style, and I know few in the industry who would suggest she copies anyone's casting. It is one of her unique characteristics.
She is nothing more than a Real World reject who got lucky a few times. She has had way more misses than hits.
She is nothing more than a Real World reject who got lucky a few times. She has had way more misses than hits.
You clearly don't understand the business. A "miss" is when you pitch a show that doesn't sell. Some of the **** you write definitely annoys me. It is so far from reality.
She is nothing more than a Real World reject who got lucky a few times.
So is Mark, we can go all day with this.
The Real World still has a chance, they just have to put the right cast together for (ex: a male with a baby, a virgin, somebody with a disorder, straight guy with a gay dad, etc.) And make the cast more diverse (ex: black, black, Puerto Rican/black, Brazilian, white, black, white/black)
Please don't place Leroy (whose one of the best characters in RW history IMO)with these other folks.
Oh please. LeRoy was real and laid back but he brought nothing to the show.
LeeRoy and Mike were the glue that held the Vegas ensemble cast together. To suggest that you don't see that is surreal.
