Just a couple quick notes on Laurel: She sneaks in her flip camera and does not use her cellphone for those videos. Also she did respond to my question asking if she was interested in doing another Challenge on Twitter. I figure she is probably done with them. Laurel Stucky ‏@laurelstucky 28 Mar @Desertpuma not particularly however I do love jetting off to foreign places in the world for free.
I don't think many people like the "politics" aspect of the game. Melinda made a similar comment in her Spreecast with Alex (RWSD2). She said she didn't like the aspect of the competition but that it was a free competition and that she would consider going back if the timing was right.
It's really sad to see so many recent castmembers have moved on from the Challenges but I'm happy that a lot has to due with personal success. After This Challenge, I think were going to get that new generation shift. Maybe from RW19+ will be the main features :(
I agree with you and I think we actually have started to see this with the last challenge. It does feel like a shift is here. Even leading up to casting this challenge, with the outrage of many fans from the amount of rookies last season, there still are not many true veterans. And it does seem the BMP wants the new generation now. Many of the people who were on the last challenge that fans complained about are back on this challenge.

But dumping a bunch of rookies in with so few veterans, especially rookies who are not as interesting, is going to end up killing the show.
The real veterans/old school to rookies ratio kind of reminds me of the cutthroat cast.

Like it really is not as hard as one think to cast a good challenge , I'm not even asking for old school castmemebers anymore just stop putting the same castmates that almost killed one franchise. If you honeslty want me to believe that from the specualted list these were the builk of who was avaliable I simply do not believe that. As much as I don't want Frank , I don't want Knight,Robb,Trey or Zach TBQH , I'm not only going to blame Frank cause he atleast tries to be entertaining where as the others just don't try to do anything except hook-up and barate women.

I mean, he was practically a no-show on the challenge.. But I think, I do understand what you mean. Hate JEK all you want but they were there to compete and are/were one of the best at it. Sure, they were sexist and egoistic pigs at times, who poked fun at everybody and used their alliance to their advantage, but if it was time to deliver they usually showed up big time. People not only allied with them because they had such a big number of people on their side, but because ppl realized, that they should be taken into account come daily challenges/finales... Plus people LOVE to hate them. Fact. Imagine Rivals with-out them! Or imagine how it would have been had CT already been working with them? Total bore... Out of FZK, I think Frank has by far the most potential to make it as a real villain... While Zach has the size of a three story house, it kinda stops right there with him and Knight....dead-weight, whose behavior is utterly disgusting, on AND off challenge...
Poor rookie team and lucky guys Zach/Frank. They have some dead weights... Sam, Danny and Preston are the missing ones.

Plus she is a rude *** girl.

I'm hoping the missing Rookie girl is someone out of left-field. I'm hoping for at least one surprise.
Well, Molds started a cast spoiler thread with her in it, but then deleted it.
Well, Molds started a cast spoiler thread with her in it, but then deleted it.
When was this?
Well, Molds started a cast spoiler thread with her in it, but then deleted it.
Yeah, I think some others thought she was there as well because she got tested, but she is very active on twitter.
When was this?
30-40 minutes ago. But after five minutes it was gone. First, I thought it was a website error, because the pictures didnt worked. I hope, it was not a dream...
30-40 minutes ago. But after five minutes it was gone. First, I thought it was a website error, because the pictures didnt worked. I hope, it was not a dream...
She's probably been working on it all week and just kept it hidden from us until shes ready/has the cast. Probably wasn't meant to be seen yet by us. But I still don't think Sam is on.
I saw the thread as well before it was deleted, and Molds did have Danny Preston and Sam. No Brandon Swift (as far as I remember). Danny makes a lot of sense, as someone else (maybe V1) mentioned that Wes wanted a friend of his there. I'm actually excited to see Preston again, he impressed me last season. He'll start out near the bottom of the totem pole though if it is vets vs. rookies, with the Portland kids being the very bottom. As for Sam tweeting actively, it could be that she has someone tweeting for her. If I remember correctly, Emily had someone tweeting for her consistently during Exes. Molds could be wrong, she's only human after all, but I'm inclined to believe her.
The cast spoiler thread is up, and if I counted correctly.. There is one too many Veteran girls and we would be needing another Rookie girl, given that Rookies vs. Veterans is the format. There are 8 guys on each side, but for Veteran girls we have Camila, Diem, Emily, Jasmine, Jonna, Paula, Sarah, Theresa and Trishelle. That's 9. And for Rookie girls we only have Anastasia, Cooke, Jemmye, Jessica, Nany, Naomi and Sam. That's only 7.
Danny from Austin to me seems to make the most sense.
Well done

I don't personally want to see Coral come back unless other vet cast members she is familiar with came back with, such as they did on the Ruins with bringing back a handful of vets (Syrus, Veronica, etc.). The last challenge she did (G3) she already was falling out of popularity and she was familiar with/knew a whole lot more people on that show then she would if she was to make a comeback now. Coral has never been a physically dominant player, even in her hay day, and always relied more on her political game/popularity in the house to advance. If she was to come back now she would be older, thus having even less physical game, and have little to no political leverage to back her up. I don't see her lasting long at all in the current format/casts of challenges. Don't get me wrong I am not a Coral hater, I enjoy her just as much as the next fan does. Just seeing how Alton last season, still a physical beast, crumbled apart because he didn't know the cast and had no political game, I don't see how Coral coming back would yield positive results for her. If she does indeed come back, in my opinion, the circumstances have to be just perfect to accommodate her (other old school vets she is friends with making a comeback with her).
Given the cast, it should be given that rookies vs vets is not the format.
So you mean that they decided to cast almost an even number of rookies and vets and rookies vs vets ISN'T the format? Does that also imply that the format has nothing to do with rookies and vets or that they're just not facing each other?

I have a feeling its Rivals, its the only reason I can think of as to why Derek (to be Robb's partner), Preston (to be Knight's partner) and Sam (to be Nany's partner) are back. The only person that really doesn't fit into a rivals theme is Diem, but maybe they could stick her with emily because they were rivals on the Exes final (weak I know), but to me this desperation would be valid due to the amazing story Diem has to tell.

I guess we're just doomed to only ever get Dunbar from the Sydney season (hands down my least favorite person from my favorite season except maybe Trischa). I know Sydney was supposed to be on last season but Bunim/Murray seems to have for the most part branched them in with the Hollywood kids with the for whatever reason "forgotten" seasons.

Are there even enough Rivals in the house to actually do a Rivals 2?
Molds13, what format to you tend to happen?
Isaac is willing to return but I don't think the format was in his favor.
agreed. Why the hell are we in Thailand again?
