Really enjoyed the finale. It tied up all loose ends and it was nice to see that Lana got justice and did not let fame totally go to her head. This season has been great and I enjoyed all the characters, but Sister Jude definitely stuck out the most to me.
I'm now watching season 1 and I must say I can see why people prefer this season, it feels much more horror-like. The scene where Tate shot those students in the library was truly suspenseful. With that said, I so far, still prefer Asylum.
I thought everything in the Season 2 finale was too predictable. Lana killing her son, Kit being abducted, Kit saving Sister Jude, the priest committing suicide, etc. Still I agree that they did a nice job wrapping everything up and bringing it to present day.
Season 1 was better IMO but they're very difficult to compare. I still think the writers did a much better job in Season 1 making the viewers care about the characters. Especially Tate & Violet. Season 1 also made you think more and had more surprises. It was more suspenseful.
Lily Rabe was the standout in Season 2--she's a much better actor than I previously thought. Season 3 should be interesting. I'm hoping Kate Mara returns

This confirms Rabe, Evan Peters, Jessica Lange and Sarah Paulson...with Tessa Farmiga a strong possibility (I haven't seen anything official come through on that).

Yes, the finale did tie up all the loose ends but it was sooooooooo anticlimactic and boring.
I thought season 1 was miles ahead of season 2. I'll still give season 3 a chance but I hope they dial it back a little.

Well we can definitely confirm that this season will be revolving around witches!! The show will also feature several locations (I think 3 to be exact)
Many have speculated that the season will revolve around three cities in three different time periods. It was confirmed there would be a present day storyline, and as of yesterday, it was confirmed the Salem Witch Trials would also be featured.

Coven? Hmm sounds unique an catchy. I really hope Murphy references the Craft, since AHS is known for its mini horror movie cameos and also it's one of the best teen witches movies that I've seen.:) Actually I wouldn't mind seeing a Vampire storyline only if its semi similar to "Interview with a Vampire" or the goriness filth that "Dracula" had. ;)

Season 1 tied together better and I think the characters were more "relatable" but both seasons were good

Really? I hated the ending of season 1. I think season 2 ended things perfectly. The only thing I didn't like was the alien stuff.

Very true. No wrong. I just didn't like the devil child at the end. I also hated that Tate and Violet weren't together. Season 2 ended with a happier.

We are never on the same page lol!! Maybe I didn't like it because at that time we didn't know it was an anthology series. I do like the Tate and Hayden idea.
Gonna have to wait till September for that... and it wont show any footage of the actual show... our first footage will probably come a week or 2 weeks before the premiere... so end of September/beginning of October
