Ryan Murphy is risky. It is what makes him great; however I am nervous that in this case it is what will destroy the show.
I think this weeks showing was great. I hate Tate and Ben's characters but their such great actors I almost don't hate them it's weird. But I was pretty shocked when Violet found out and told Tate to "go away". I guess that's the magic word in that house? It's funny how Ben and Constance are the only living people in the cast anymore.
The show has been nominated for Best Drama Series at the Golden Globes and Jessica Lange is up for Best Supporting Actress in a series or mini-series. Well deserved!

That makes me feel better, but I personally think there should have been another one in there somewhere. Maybe McDermott or the guy that plays Tate. The characters on these shows are portrayed perfectly and deserve a tad more recognition than what they got.

Just watched this week's episode and it was amazing. I love this show. It sucks Vivien died, but now she is stuck in the house. Maybe it's me, or maybe I just want to believe it so bad, that I still think the Harmons' will play a big role in season 2.
I knew he was going to kill this show. This SUCKS! The concept of rebooting isn't bad, what more could happen at the harmon house? Although it was pretty cool that they all died. I feel like the second story might not be as good as the first, as most "sequels" tend to go that way. Still looking forward to season 2 though.

Many sequels have surpassed their original." And I intend to agree with them when this was stated, lol. And I'm sick of people claming that sequels suck because their sequels and not original... As for AHS, I'm just not that into it. I knew from the jump they would all die anyway.
There's a huge difference between a movie and an on-going television series.
No kidding. That was what I was getting at.
No kidding. That was what I was getting at.
Yes, but sequels (for movies) do tend to suck, which you disagree with. Television series are a different ball game.

Anyways, I think it's kind of a neat concept to do an anthology type series and switch it off each season. I really liked the show when it started, but I missed a few episodes in the middle and never caught up. Heard about the ending though, pretty crazy! I guess it was appropriate that it ended the way it did. That family never had a chance did they...

Case in point: Skins UK. Each cast only lasts 2 seasons and then they replace them, and that series turned out fine. Sometimes viewers learn to not get attached to the originals.
Figured as much... Yeah they'd be kind of stupid to let the Golden Globe and SAG Award winner go...

I can't wait to scoop up the blu-ray so I can rewatch it all knowing what I now know! What a GREAT series. Such a breath of fresh air for the Horror genre and TV, in general.
