The ONGOING CASTING part at the top in big bold letters should give you a clue.
If you failed to notice, there's directions in there too. And an e-mail address. I just answered every single one of your questions.

NICE! ;)
and no prob! Anytime.
If you are casted as RW house mate, does MTV and BM basicly own you? and if yes how many years? does that also mean you couldn't do other reality shows?
[strike]ive been through casting for the real world 3 times, i have experienced it first hand and now I work with the team who casts for the show. Its 80% personality and 20% enviromental... just remember that...[/strike]

How far did you go before you started working for BMP?
I remember watching a casting special that came on for The Real World Hawaii and Road Rules Semester At Sea that showed deep detail into how casting is ran. I thought it was really interesting that at one point, they had a casting director hold up pictures of former cast members and asked what the person thought about them in detail.. Do they still do that? I had always thought that they wouldn't put you on the show if you were a fan (or big enough to describe people from previous seasons in detail)
I was wondering this also, because I have lots of things that would get them interested about me, but they are not the kind of things you would just drop into a bio.
I applied online for season 28 back in July ON MY 18TH BIRTHDAY since the open casting auditions already finished, but the rumors for the cast started surfacing like that next week. So clearly I was way to late. Season 29 open casting call dates need to be announced already because I'm going to actually go to the open casting call since I will be of age. I'm so stoked cause this has been my dream to be on the show since I was 14 so I can't wait to finally experience the auditions.
You need to be 21
I know for seasons 27 and 28 you needed to be 20 not 21, but I still did the online application for 28 anyways haha. Has anything for season 29 been posted yet?!
Does everyone think they have officially changed the age requirement to 20 for all the future seasons or just for the past 2 seasons? I thought Priscilla being only 19 actually was an interesting contribution to her role on her season. I'm going to be devastated If I have to wait till I'm 20 :(

No you don't. You have to be 20. If you're 20 and you turn 21 during filming, that's perfect. However, they also consider the location. If they are going international or to a city with a ton of places 18+, you'll have a greater chance.
Even if you don't turn 21 during filming, if you're interesting enough and they like you then they'll put you on the show. That, or hold your application and invite you back to finals the next year

Thanks! Hopefully season 29 goes back to a 18+ season, since seasons 27 and 28 were not. Hmm I wonder what's going to be after Portland? I think somewhere international would be great like Rome or Tokyo or something.

Even if it's an international season, it's not going to go back to 18-24. From here-on-out, the minimum age is 20; it's MTV's rule
How do you know this [strike]fer[/strike] for sure?
It's common logic; they wouldn't change it just to change it back to 18. They would have changed it back for St Thomas if that was the case.
It's not a hard concept to grasp dude..

I think this is still an early prediction since it has only been the last 2 seasons. They needed St Thomas to be 21+ since they just had Priscilla on San Diego. And they needed Portland to be 21+ as well because they needed a more party season like Las Vegas because of San Diego and St Thomas being dull seasons.
Although seasons are 20+ here and there, why would they change it for good if the majority have been 18+ since the show started?

Because times have changed. It's MTV's rule, not B/M's. One of the casting directors stated this on twitter last night, actually.
Let me put it this way: If YOU are THAT interesting, they will put you on the show if you are 20. There is a STRONG possibility that you won't be as heavily considered as everyone else is you don't have an amazing backstory.
It's not going to change dude and if you want to be on the show that bad, you can wait.

I was waiting for you to actually have proof of this not just basing it off of your opinion, so that helped.
Duh.
Obviously I can wait? It just sucks, since I could see myself being a interesting cast member being under 20, like Priscilla.

Being on Vevmo essentially decreases your chances to zero either way

Not true.. i know a couple people who have made it pretty far on here ;)
Then again they weren't dumb enough to put their first name in their Vevmo username and establish their age. Just saying.
