Also this episode reminded me why I disliked Trishelle so much in the past. She's not a great competitor, and I remember Coral calling her out on it. She plays a mental game well, but I remember why she annoyed me back then.
Challenge wise it's been fun: the Hunger Games, and the trivia challenge were awesome. And I don't see the love for Lacey. She was on for one episode and was barely shown lol. I've always loved Chet and it's really nice to see him last long. Devyn is easily the coolest chick too. The way I see it is for once my favorite competitors aren't gone in the beginning. While I liked both Cara Maria and Brandon, I like Dustin, Nany, Chet, Sarah, and Devyn a lot more. It's an extremely unpredictable Challenge, and I can't wait for next week.
I can see all that. I liked Chet and Sarah a lot before this season that that hasn't changed Also, I think the season has been very predictable each week. When is the last time we didn't know who the power team would send in?

It's hypocritical.
My thing isI would totally respect her mental game if she didn't attack others for playing the game too! It's hypocritical.
+1000 I could even forgive her sitting out the mission when she could have competed and failing horribly today if she didn't talk a big game and bash others for wisely avoiding elimination rounds--that's the name of the game. She knows that well from her past. She saw how Coral played the game.
Maybe but I'm looking for competitors and the newbies haven't shown they can compete at a high level yet. I mean, even Zach hasn't lived up to expectations Out of all the newbies who could win a "Duel"? If the answer is no one then this season is a huge disappointment for me. If you like the season that's great but I'd rather be watching The Ruins or Cutthroat
Yeah man, but it was so much better seeing CJ beat Zach. If Zach was the equivalent of CJ it would have been a repeat of the Wes/Eric elimination we saw the first episode. What fun is that? We'd never see a Rookie win a Duel if it's rigged with Vets. If this was a Duel I truly believe we'd see the same people in the same position. But no, on a Duel that has Kenny, Johnny, Evan, CT, Landon, ect. they would have sent the few rookies in every time. That is why I love this Challenge, finally the Vets got a taste of their own medicine.
I can see all that. I liked Chet and Sarah a lot before this season that that hasn't changed Also, I think the season has been very predictable each week. When is the last time we didn't know who the power team would send in?
Actually tonight lol, I thought for sure they would send Brooklyn in. But it's not only a matter of who the power team sends in, but who the power team is too. It was Brooklyn for two weeks now it's back to San Diego.
Line of the episode since I couldn't make out what anyone was saying during that fight: "the last time I lost something it was my virginity." -Robb. He's so funny.
The Vegas team should have included people from JUST the Back To Vegas cast. Alton and Trishelle were/are both very underwhelming/disappointing this season and frankly they were/are just anchors for the team. While Vegas has won challenges, Altons attitude and Trishelles actual performance are just embarrassing. Having Heather and Leory instead would have been much more helpful for team Las Vegas. Although I guess nobody would have counted on Alton and Trishelle to be as disappointing as they were.

That's the way it should be. Also, I wasn't saying if this season was a Duel. I'm asking if next season is the Duel III would any of the rookies on here have a legit chance of winning? Maybe Zach? That's part of my disappointment. I want to find top-tier competitors that play great social games...I'm not seeing that. I'm seeing a game that is completely personal other than maybe Brooklyn.
My thing is I would totally respect her mental game if she didn't attack others for playing the game too! It's hypocritical.
EXACTLY!! She was talking trash about Jonna not going in (who I don't like), and yet she does the same exact thing?!
I still believe this is the biggest misconception. Rookies that performed have always made it far. That's the way it should be. Also, I wasn't saying if this season was a Duel. To be honest, I could see Dustin, Frank, or Zach winning a Duel. Leroy, although not on this Challenge as he was supposed to be, could win one too.
Actually tonight lol, I thought for sure they would send Brooklyn in. But it's not only a matter of who the power team sends in, but who the power team is too. It was Brooklyn for two weeks now it's back to San Diego.
Really? I knew they were sending in Vegas--SD plays a personal game. Brooklyn winning Power Team wasn't shocking considering the missions they won. Eating & a puzzle. I understand what you're saying but I think this has all been predictable--like SD winning today. Once I heard Sam was their best swimmer I knew they were a lock. I guess we'll see how things play out but so far I've felt everything was predictable. The season has improved from earlier on but it definitely hasn't been one of my favorites. It isn't as bad as The Island or anything though
I have never been a big Trishelle fan, but I was totally on her side tonight. I cannot stand Alton and Dustin, they are both just as guilty of acting like complete drama queens as Frank. Plus they were both extemely immature about Trishelle not performing well. And to Dustin, it isnt Trishelles fault that Nany and Alton lost, it is their own fault.
Meh, I've seen it both ways. To be honest, I could see Dustin, Frank, or Zach winning a Duel. Leroy, although not on this Challenge as he was supposed to be, could win one too.
Leroy's a beast--I was hoping for someone like him on this Challenge I haven't seen anything from Frank that makes me believe he's a great competitor. I don't consider Dustin a rookie--rookies for me are first timers--I knew after Exes he could compete but he has grown on me as a person. Maybe SD is making me hate this season more than I should be--maybe I need to rewatch it and skip when they talk to Frank--ha ha

May just enjoy this season as well because the people I want to win are finally doing good lol
EXACTLY!! She was talking trash about Jonna not going in (who I don't like), and yet she does the same exact thing?!
Yeah but the difference is CJ didnt tell Jonna that he was going to quit and go home and not give his all in the arena, which Alton did. I dont understand why people are mad that Trishelle didnt step up and just let herself go home, Alton has been saying for weeks now he wants to quit and go home, why would you waste your time being there just to let yourself go home towards the end of the game? Think logically people.
Can't really say that for Brandon on cutthroat when he was sent into elimination EVERY SINGLE TIME till he got eliminated
Brandon didn't perform well in missions though--even though his team didn't exactly set him up to succeed. Chet leaving because of the injury is the reason he had no chance.

And to Dustin, it isnt Trishelles fault that Nany and Alton lost, it is their own fault.
I agree, Dustin, Alton, Frank, Derek...the way they spoke to the women on this challenge is disgusting, and horrid! I only dislike Trishelle, because she should have volunteer, because not only did she mess up during the challenge, she talked so much crap about Jonna not going in.
Leroy's a beast--I was hoping for someone like him on this Challenge I haven't seen anything from Frank that makes me believe he's a great competitor. There's never been a season where I've come to love the rookies as much as I do with these. Dustin, Devyn, Nany are easily the coolest people to grace my television in recent memory ;)
A lot of these missions are like old school missions. They aren't really geared towards seeing who is the strongest and the most athletic. Just look at something like insane games. Also some people work best by themselves or with one partner than with a whole team.
Yeah but the difference is CJ didnt tell Jonna that he was going to quit and go home and not give his all in the arena, which Alton did
True, but it's kinda the same. Jonna didn't want to go in because, honestly, she thought CJ would lose. Trishelle didn't want to go in because she thought Alton would quit or not go full force.
Nothing is as bad at the Island hahaha. I also loved Battle of the Exes as well because seeing Ty and Emily win dome after dome was awesome. May just enjoy this season as well because the people I want to win are finally doing good lol
LOL--I think that's true for a lot of people. I really wish there was a DC team on this challenge--that could have really made things interesting.

Think logically people.
Alton didn't say he was quitting for THIS elimination. He said that many episodes ago. Give me a break, Trishelle is just totally using that as a wimpy excuse now because it's convenient for her. Which would be fine, but don't attack Jonna and don't attack Sweet Sarah and claim she is sneaky and not going to volunteer herself (when she did), but then pull the same crap. Anyone could see Trishelle is a hypocrite in this situation. And Alton and Nany were only beat by one ball.
LOL--I think that's true for a lot of people. I really wish there was a DC team on this challenge--that could have really made things interesting.
What I would do for a team consisting of Mike, Ty, Emily, and Ashley. I would take it over majority of the teams they got.

On paper it is suicide. Also, Derek isn't as weak as people keep saying. He performed well today. Now, Trishelle is stuck with someone that hates her--Jonna is stuck with someone that literally gives her a place to live. Who should have just went in? Logically Trishelle. Also, Jonna performed well in the mission prior to the elimination...Trishelle, yet again, didn't

It's that feature in Trishelle that many didn't like back then. I still remember Coral arguing with Mike, because Trishelle was trying to mentally stay in the game over Coral, who performed better than her! Coral wasn't having any of that!
One day Robb and Derek are sitting around eating breakfast before a challenge… Derek: What a glorious day for a challenge! Robb: Yeah, but these challenges haven’t been as cool as I thought they’d be, hopefully the next season I’m on they will step it up. Derek: Ya me too. Robb: Hahahahaha you think you’re gonna be on another challenge? No offense bro but wallpaper is more interesting than you. You’ve been on 2 challenges now and you haven’t done jack ****. Derek: What have you done so interesting besides being Marie’s slave? Robb: Hey man, I’m interesting. I know you haven’t seen my real world season, but I punch myself in the face like 2 times! I’m ******* crazy bro. Derek: Sorry man but you have to be bat **** to be on this show. There’s this guy named CT and one time he smashed some kid’s head and ate it. It’s true…Wes told me. He was there. Robb: Well what are we gonna do? How are we gonna get invited back? Derek: Well, I know they had a challenge called Rivals, so maybe we can do something so if they have a Rivals 2 we’ll be partners. Robb: **** that I’ll go fight Zach or something I don’t want to be partners with you. Derek: Come on Robb, I need this. The world hasn’t gotten to see the real Derek Chavez yet. Robb: Ok fine, so how should we do this? Derek: We can’t just start fighting randomly, I need to get in a fight with a girl and then you need to defend her or something. What girl would it be easy to get in a fight with? Robb: That Lacey girl hasn’t done anything yet maybe we can get her to fight with you. Derek: Dude she literally went home first. Robb: That explains a lot. Derek: I’ll just fight with Nany, she’s easy to mess with. Robb: Is Nany the midget black girl? Derek: For ******’s sake Robb! The next morning…. Robb: That was great, Derek! We're gonna be on Rivals 2 for sure! Derek: I’m not so sure, Robb. I just feel like there wasn’t enough of you being shirtless… TO BE CONTINUED
I almost feel like Trishelle is trying to be Coral but it doesn't work for her.
My thoughts on this episode: I absolutely hate the fact that Nany went home, instead of Trishelle. Nany was one of the best girls here, and she stood up to Frank, so props to her! That being said, Trishelle played SMART. If she didn't volunteer herself, and Nany didn't say anything, San Diego would have obviously put in Nany because of that huge blowup between Frank and Nany. Frank is so degrading to women. Who the **** says "If you don't act like a lady, I will berate you". Seriously? Are we in the 17th century or something? You're not like her master, so quit acting like an entitled *******. And you don't even act like a freaking gentleman, so calm your tits. Dustin would knock Frank out. Once again, I completely forgot that Ashley was on this challenge. Did anyone else notice Sam wearing a blue shirt after she said that she wouldn't give two cents if Marie went home? TEAM BROOKLYN! I'm excited to see them intact! And happy they were the one team that stayed out of the drama. So smart. And Trishelle is now kissing Sarah's *** because no one else except Brooklyn will talk to her.
