I was so impressed by Evan Peters, he was barely recognizable! I loved the first ep. It opened the doors to what looks like some awesome storylines for this season.

I completely agree. I was worried that Evan Peters wasn't going to be able to pull off a different character and I'd always think of him as Tate but he was great. I love the fact they gave us a glimpse into about 10 different story-lines. After last year we know they can pull it all together. Can't wait to watch it unfold.

The show is amazing. I think it's 100 times better than the first season. The acting and the writing is flawless. So glad it got picked up for another season.
The show is completely different than the first season. I'm not entirely sure which one I liked better but I think season 1 did a better job making the viewers care about the characters. That said, the acting & writing is simply phenomenal and both seasons are great just very different.
Thrilled that there will be a season 3. Hopefully Jessica Lange and Evan Peters sign on. Also, please bring back Kate Mara.
I've never seen the first season but this season can't keep me interested.
I'm not sure if its cause I watch it at 11 after the challenge and I'm too tired, or I just can't get into it.
The first episode started out so slow.

It is taking time to develop the characters and plot so that it gets better as the season progresses.

They first season was amazing, but it was extremely different. The characters are once again amazing. The twists and turns will have you on the edge of your seat as well. I prefer this season more because it's a scarier story. The first was scared me but not nearly as much as this. The second one also has a better location and allows for more twists and turns.
The first season took place in a house the entire time... Still amazing don't get me wrong. It's worth the watch.
I'm digging this season. Really gives me the creeps. Every time they play that happy French music, when everyone is in the common room, freaks me out.
The acting, writing, plots and twists are amazing.
This season is nothing like Season 1. This show is definitely not for everyone, but I like it a lot.

Pretty sure him a Jenna already filmed all of their scenes in advance. It's just a waiting game as to when they pop up or not so we can get the full story. (They will be coming back in future episodes, dead or not.)

Poor Lana... trapped in the basement of bloodyface is terrifying!
And how effed up was his backstory? Very VERY unsettling... and now I feel even worse for Lana having to pretend to be his mother.

If you feel like season 1 was better I HAVE to watch it!! I'm loving this show (didn't even see season 1).

I slightly prefer this season - I also loved last season obviously, but the setting of season 2 is more unsettling to me, and I had some issues with the plot in season 1; although the characters were probably a tad stronger in season 1, especially Tate, Moira, and of course Constance.

In season 1 everyone was connected and i think that helped a lot.
I miss Kate Mara personally
I forgot how much I missed Frances Conroy (Moira) from season 1. I'm still watching this episode but I hope they keep her around. She has great chemistry with Jessica Lange and Lily Rabe
Frances Conroy was brilliant again... I wonder if this was her only episode? I hope not!!
As for the insane plot twists this episode... [SPOILER]HOLY ****! Lana escapes, only to get a ride with a suicidal husband, so she gets in a crash, and ends up back in the asylum... great. Well I guess it's better than Bloodyface's basement, but for the love of god why didn't she kill him when she had the chance!! Gah now he will be on a revenge rampage!
And Kit also escapes!! So crazy, right back to the asylum to save Grace... only to get caught by Frank who tries to shoot him but Grace jumps in the way! NOOO :( So sad seeing her die at the end.
But is she really dead? She's part of the main cast... i suspect her to come back... in what way who knows? She was abducted by aliens, so it probably will have something to do with that storyline.
So Lana and Kit are back at Briarcliff.... and Jude is out!? Eunice you sneaky devil you! And now even Arden is terrified of her! Something tells me Jude and Mary are gonna have a brawl next episode... please get that devil out of her even though I love what it brings to the show! haha[/SPOILER]
All i can really episode is that these episodes are just getting better and better!! Tonight was phenomenal... and a huge step forward in plots.
Oh and on a side not... that saw scene with the "voices"... Cringed soooo much!! GAH! This show is so twisted :P
