Ahh the memorable island also haha. My point was more that he hasn't won at all when it was just pairs or him alone, but in big groups he has been a part of. Non evenly matched groups where he may or may not have gone in ever. He is great at finals, he is basically a great teammate for a final. But i think Johnny is better overall. Kenny is not feared in eliminations at all.
One great thing from the Ruins, maybe the only great thing. I think the Susie and Kim rope pull was possibly the best female elimination I have seen. It was definitely the most physical. I'd love to see Laurel/Ev or Emily/Ev do that. Until I rewatched the Ruins, I completely forgot about it because the season was so not memorable.
I feel like the only elimination round where Kenny should be feared is a physical one. He could defeat Leroy, CT, Alton, Landon, and Johnny if it were physical because he's a wrestler.
I feel like The Ruins was one of the most memorable challenge to date actually. There will never be a cast like that ever again.
You also have to note that the final that Johnny beat CT in was unlike any final we've seen or will ever see again. CT gassed out from lifting his 200+ lbs body in and out of the snow, while Johnny only weighs 185. If CT and Johnny were in a final like Rivals, CT would have had a better chance.
I disagree with this. I think that the Final on Rivals was much more physically demanding than the one on Exes. The one on Exes was essentially a 1 day event (the 1st day wasn't much at all) whereas Rivals was a 24+ hour Final.
The day on Exes wasn't even a day, it was a shortened day. The Final was filmed in early December in Iceland, which means there was very little sunlight for them to work with, meaning the Final was really short in comparison to Rivals.
Daylight in Iceland
Rivals was from dawn until dark on Day 1, where they had to stay up all night, and then compete for another 1.5 hours on Day 2. It was far more physically demanding than Exes. It was so long that they even cut out some of the stuff they had to do for time restraints even though the Final was 1.5 episodes long.
I liked her a lot. I actually loved Road Rules X-Treme, especailly all the girls. The last girl we've seen on a Challenge from that season was Jillian in Fresh Meat 2, then before that was Ibis in The Ruins. Then it was Jillian again in The Gauntlet 3. Then before that was the original Duel which had Jodi & Kina. It has been Derrick who has been the main representation from that season on the Challenges.
Is there any chance of Jodi, Kina, Ibis, Angela, or Jillian ever coming back? Have any of them ever officially announced their 'retirement'. I remember Angela hating BotS2...and now that she's trying to become an actress I don't see her coming back...but I would love it if these five made another appearance!
Also...Emily Bailey & Julie Stoffer.....very sad we haven't seen them in a long time. I doubt we ever will again but did they both officially 'retire' or did they just stop appearing?
Jodi and Kina both annouced in Interviews that they're done with challenges and I read here that Ibis is done aswell. And I doubt we'll ever see angela back on based on what you said. I don't know about Jillian.
Patrick refused to do challenges because he didn't like the way he was portrayed on his season..So he probably has been asked to do challenges but declined.

Huh? Just because he's a wrestler he could defeat these guys in a physical competition? I highly doubt it. He used everything he had to beat Tyrie and Davis in a physical elimination.
Landon was a state champion in wrestling. Highly doubt he could take Landon in a wrestling match or anything physical. He even commented during Fresh Meat II final what a beast Landon was and how he threw that 100 pound backpack on his back like it was nothing.
If a competition were physical between him and CT, he would have no chance. CT has much stronger upper and lower body then him. Maybe he could take Johnny, Alton and Leroy in something physical, but even that I doubt

Memorable as in clearly from just looking at the teams on paper, way one sided and I don't think anyone thought it was evenly matched or close to it. It was pretty much a gift win, although the season had some entertainment in the house part of the show with drama.
Doing a Ruins like that now would be a lot more evenly matched teams with some solid people who haven't won. I just don't think the time was right to do that format if they wanted competition.
I feel like if the challenges do get renewed that filming will be sometime in late winter/early spring. The cast for BOTE left early November last year, and to my knowledge no availability calls have been made yet.

They will definitely have a Challenge after BOTS. I'm assuming they're already working on a concept. If BMP is smart, they'll give what everyone is wanting, "the rookies vs vets" concept. We'll most likely see Frank, Zach, and Bananas next season.
I'm still praying for a Ruins II format with "old school" and "new school" so they can make sure the teams are pretty even unlike the first Ruins. I'd prefer not to see Frank ever again but that seems unlikely.

I agree if not a duel, this is perfect time for champion vs challenger format, or vet vs rookie even. But their are enough challengers, to make a team that could compete. Doesn't mean they have to get only the best champions, they can get some of the "won but werent' difference makers" to even it out with the heavy hitters.
But CT/Leroy/emily dc/Ty/ as challengers already is better than the ruins1 challenger team haha....The first ruins the teams were a complete joke. Did neither Evan/Kenny or Derrick even go in to an elimination? At least Darrell and Johnny went in. Johnny has never had a free ride in any of his wins i don't think, except maybe the island? he went in an elimination on rivals/exes/ruins at least.
I wasn't really going with Champs vs. Challengers (definitely not if SD or Cancun win this one)--more New School vs. Old School using the same format that The Ruins had (nominate 3 men & women; personal bank accounts, winning team picks who goes in on both teams, a similar final to the one they had as well).
I think making sure the girls on both teams are comparable is the first priority. I'd love to see Aneesa, Rachel R, Evelyn, Paula, Sarah, Jenn, Kelly Anne & Trishelle vs. Jonna, Nany, Laurel, Emily, Ashlee (NOLA2), Ashley (SD2), Marie & Theresa.
There's lots of guys can at least put up a fight with guys like Johnny IMO. Maybe something along the lines of Johnny, Dunbar, Mark Long, Tyler, Landon, Derrick, Chet & CT vs. Ty, Leroy, Frank, Zach, CJ, Brandon-FM2, Trey & Knight. I left out Evan, Kenny, Dustin, Susie & Veronica because I'm not sure they're allowed to do another show or due to pregnancy.

Sounds nice.
I think Cohutta would be called and Coral wouldn't mind coming back.
I've been also thinking maybe Josh, Ashley, Darrell, Katie, Arissa and Frank would could another call back since they were options for BOTS.

I'd absolutely love to see Cohutta, Coral, Katie, Darrell, Arissa and Frank--all good options. I'm guessing Josh & Ashley are DC people--not exactly sure who they are but I'd like to see new people worked in as well so that would be good.

There was actually going to be a DC team on Battle of the Seasons 2. I only know that Ashley backed out last minute, forget who else did. There were 2 cast members from that season who said yes but Ashley and somebody else backed out last minute.
Okay Everyone...Which Real World(or Road Rules) season that you would've liked to see represented on this current challenge?
I would've liked to see a Hollywood Team, And I wish that DC got in on this challenge too..For Road Rules It would've been awesome if they got a South Pacific Team together I also would've been fine with X-treme and Viewer's Revenge Team too.
How about you all?

I really would have liked to see Sydney. Denver would have been interesting also.

Denver really? You know Tyrie and Davis would be first ones to go home as usual. Totally ruin it for Jenn.
I would have liked to see Philadelphia, Paris, DC, or Key West

If this is unrealistic, then SD 1 with Brad, Randy, Robin, and Jamie, LV2 with Leroy, Adam, Nany, and Heather, combined NY seasons of Miz, Chet, Coral, Sarah, Paris with CT, Ace, Mallory, and Leah, Key West with Bananas, Tyler, Paula, and Svetlana. And since I know you love Fresh Meat so much, Kenny, Evan, Laurel, and Ev.
Nick Brown from Hollywood tweeted that he was asked to be on this challenge but none of the girls from his season were interested. He said his partner would've been either Will or Dave.

Not quite what everyone is wanting. I'm still hoping they'll do an individual challenge where the bottom 2 performers go into a face-off each week. No alliances, just put up or shut up.
I think something like 98% of viewers hated the Island, but I'm ready for part 2. Yeah, it's not quite like any other Challenge, but variety is the spice of life and it's unique enough that I'd be down for another season.

Yeah I don't want rookies vs vets..I'd rather just them continue to focus on this new generation of challengers and then sprinkle in some veterans. I really don't want to see any of the vetererans as I think most of them have been really overused.
I'd want either a Duel or a new challenge concept that doesn't limit the amount of people they can get. Or another Cutthroat where the Rookies are the majority.
I would love another format like Battle of the Sexes 1 where there is a score board, so people can actually see who is on top (and the excuses for the bottom people would be great to listen to!) but still have an elimination round in there to make the people fight to stay.

I really hope you realize this will never happen as it will as it will drive away a large percentage of the viewers.

It already did happen on this season.

It happened this season to set up future seasons--the comment was "continue"

That would be a horrible idea because if they did that then the new challengers would ban together and take out all the veterans who are outnumbered at which point the rookies would get a huge sense of entitlement and think they are superior to the veterans. They would also think they are better than the veterans, which is 100% untrue.

Reminds of JKE and company weeding out and replacing all the older veterans before them.
I remember once GIII came and these kids were labeled veterans after doing two challenges, ever since their heads have gotten big and they felt like they were superior and still do now (even though they've earned and paid their dues).
I don't see much of a difference, history will repeat itself depending on how long these last.
Well to be hair most of the FM who were on Gauntet 3 (Eric being the exception) are decent competitors. Maybe thats where they got their big heads from. Them being labeled as veterans wasn't weird to be because they were around with people like Coral, Theo, Shane, Tonya, etc. I think its weird that next challenge people like Jonna, Jasmine, and Derek are going to be labeled vets.

Yes, I understand and I think they got their egos from being cast so many times that they feel like they are the stars of the show. I think only Jasmine would be considered a veteran out of those three and out of all the rookies on this current challenge the Cancun team has paid their dues by getting voted off and having an experience with other veterans.
I think Jonna, Jasmine, CJ, Dustin, Zach, Frank, Devyn, Knight, Jemmye, Nany, Marie, and maybe Trey along with Sarah and Chet (who are already vets) seem deserving enough to return, put them in with some tough vets, rough them up and develop them because they seem to stand out. We also have Leroy, Emily, Laurel, KellyAnne etc.
