Maybe they'll do "new school" vs. "old school" with Fresh Meat II as the cutoff. Of course, then I'm not sure what side Cancun falls on since Cancun was technically available for Fresh Meat as CJ was on it and Jonna was supposed to be. Hopefully with the "new school side". Laurel, Theresa, Camila, Ashlee, Cara Maria, Jonna, Emily, Jasmine, Nany, Ty, Zach, Frank, CJ, Brandon, Knight and Dustin is a solid core to start picking from. Plus, they could add a person or two from Portland to start introducing them. Nice drama within the team already. Just a thought....
Yeah, it just seems like everyone that has done these recent challenges are all veterans (or on their way to be) and rookies are very limited especially any good ones. Another Vets vs. Rookies wouldn't feel right at least to me. NS vs. OS sounds better. Not saying that there would ever be one in the future, a lot of people just assume that or hoping there will be.
Well, I never got to watch any of the Gaunlets....so I would like to see a rookies vs. vets season. Although I think the term vets should be people who have done at least 3-4 challenges before, instead of only 2. Cause if it were only two, that would make Shauvon a veteran, hehe.
Shauvon did 3 though, so she is still a veteran by those rules ;)

The guy team that Zach listed on the podcast for rookies that he said was unbeatable sounded very beatable haha. I'd take CT/Johnny/Darrell/Kenny/Landon against any rookie squad they can find...
Please give me the old ****** vets back..I'm tired of watching the B team on this Challenge..Give me vets like Derrick, Darrell, CT, Johnny, Landon, Tyler, Brad, Rachel, Veronica, Ev, ect. ect...Most of the clowns on this Challenge are average to below average competitors, most of them give some of the most boring confessionals/commentary/one liners (Yeah I'm looking at you for one, Zack), I hardly know/don't know some of these kids because I didn't watch much of their garbage RW seasons because they were so horrid I couldn't even make it past the first couple of episodes, ect... Go ahead and put some of these new people on the next Challenge but please also put some of the all time greats on there as well.

He was so confident in his team. His girl team is ok, but if I had Evelyn, Rachel, and Laurel(just those three) alone would take out his girl team. His team is very stacked, but the vet girls are so much better than the rookies.
I did see something about how Zach would have picked Emily, but was told he couldn't.
Totally forgot about her. I'd most definitely grab her. She would be a Vet on her next Challenge, wouldn't she?
Totally forgot about her. I'd most definitely grab her. She would be a Vet on her next Challenge, wouldn't she?
Yes, but so were half the people Zach picked to be on his team.
Ideally they need to come up with a way to have Laurel & Emily on one team with Rachel & Evelyn on the other. JMO but that's the only way we get balance...or one of each. Depending on who wants to be a part of the season.
I think they should pick the teams similar to the way they did in Cutthroat, through a draft. But instead of having the 3 weakest ones picking the teams, it should be the strongest ones picking and the people that aren't picked will be automatically out, similar to how Survivor did once when they were picking tribes.
Yes, but so were half the people Zach picked to be on his team.
This is what scares me when it comes to challenges. But I would like for once to see a relatively weak team beat a relatively strong team to win.
Derrick has turned into one of the fakest dudes that's been on this show...the way he is kissing Zach and Frank's *** right now is pathetic..it's like he has to be "in" with the cool kids or some ****...and the way he is all cool with a person on his podcast and then turns around and completely bashes or makes fun of that same exact person (He's done this several times to several cast members) on a later podcast is cowardly. It wouldn't surprise me if Derrick turns around and bashes and makes fun of Zach and Frank when he has JEK or at least one of them on a podcast with him. I'll give JEK credit..at least they will say whatever they need to say to your face unlike Derrick who is cool with you one minute and then bashes you behind your back the next. And this is coming from a Derrick fan...I mean he is a hell of a competitor and a just a pitbull on these challenges but man he sure does act like a ****** on his podcasts...it's made me lose respect for him some.
Honestly, maybe Derrick still wants to do challenges and realizes it is a good idea to stay on the good side of as many people as possible. That's one of the main reasons Derrick has been successful on the challenges.
I think Derrick said that he doesn't get paid for these podcasts..I may be wrong but I could have sworn I've heard him say that.
He has sponsors. He probably makes enough money from them to cover the costs of the website and bandwidth, but that is probably all. Very few people have a podcast large enough to sustain them financially. I think the podcasts are a way for him to stay in touch with the Challenge.

The fact Derrick plays both sides is why Wes was pissed at him, but he is the only one who realizes this. He was mad that he seemed all nice to him on the podcast, when he has been trashing him time and time before and after. I do think Derrick is dying to be casted again, and has mentioned how he isn't "drama or entertaining" enough and sounds bitter about it. I don't really care if he comes back, because if he does he will side with JEK. I am kind of curious if CT/Johnny are back together on a challenge if they align or if Johnny will still scheme to try to get rid of him. I mean after beating him in a final, he can't have near the desperation they had before to get him out before the finals. That was the whole desperation was that they were afraid of him in a final. But I would not want to go 1 on 1 vs him in any elimination so I would let him make the final and hope he gasses out. On a random note, I was rewatching the Ruins for the first time since it was on vintage MTV on demand, and man that was the most one sided challenge that was casted I have ever seen. If any challenge needed a Big Easy to even it out, it was this one. Evan/Kenny/Derrick got free rides, and it was just set up and completely one sided. I couldn't believe the challenger cast they casted and felt they could have any chance. I found it funny that no matter how stacked they were, they still needed Susie to do the puzzle int eh final at the end because Derrick even admitted they all had no shot at it. Side note, I know Kenny has a few 2nd places as well, but are his only wins with big teams like I3 and Ruins?
Side note, I know Kenny has a few 2nd places as well, but are his only wins with big teams like I3 and Ruins?
He won the Island too...it is safe to say every time he won he had a dominant team in the final
He won the Island too...it is safe to say every time he won he had a dominant team in the final
Ahh the memorable island also haha. My point was more that he hasn't won at all when it was just pairs or him alone, but in big groups he has been a part of. Non evenly matched groups where he may or may not have gone in ever. He is great at finals, he is basically a great teammate for a final. But i think Johnny is better overall. Kenny is not feared in eliminations at all. One great thing from the Ruins, maybe the only great thing. I think the Susie and Kim rope pull was possibly the best female elimination I have seen. It was definitely the most physical. I'd love to see Laurel/Ev or Emily/Ev do that. Until I rewatched the Ruins, I completely forgot about it because the season was so not memorable.
Kenny should have won Rivals if not for the bull**** "head starts" they gave out

I miss Kimberly & Susie--really liked both and neither were elite athletes but fought hard. If I had to pick a partner (after the obvious 4) I'd pick one of them.
He won the Island too...it is safe to say every time he won he had a dominant team in the final
The inferno 3 teams were extremely close, the Bad ***** won 9 out of 15 challenges and they had the same number of people in the final. I was thinking a really good future challenge with the current cast would be an Island 2. Some people hated the first one, but I like the concept of getting keys and earning a spot in the finals. They would need to change some of the rules like having more than 3 people competing in each face off (maybe 7 or 8). Top 2 in every face off gets a key, bottom 2 go into a vote off. The reason I think this would be interesting is because the island is the only challenge that is more strategical than physical, and I think a few seasons down the line it would be interesting to see how the young kids stack up against the vets in a game that strategical. It would be guaranteed to be drama between Frank/Zack and JEK.
I liked Angela Trimbur a lot. I actually loved Road Rules X-Treme, especially all the girls. The last girl we've seen on a Challenge from that season was Jillian in Fresh Meat 2, then before that was Ibis in The Ruins. Then it was Jillian again in The Gauntlet 3. Then before that was the original Duel which had Jodi & Kina. It has been Derrick who has been the main representation from that season on the Challenges. Is there any chance of Jodi, Kina, Ibis, Angela, or Jillian ever coming back? Have any of them ever officially announced their 'retirement'. I remember Angela hating BotS2...and now that she's trying to become an actress I don't see her coming back...but I would love it if these five made another appearance! Also...Emily Bailey & Julie Stoffer.....very sad we haven't seen them in a long time. I doubt we ever will again but did they both officially 'retire' or did they just stop appearing?

CT gassed out from lifting his 200+ lbs body in and out of the snow, while Johnny only weighs 185. If CT and Johnny were in a final like Rivals, CT would have had a better chance.
He won the Island too...it is safe to say every time he won he had a dominant team in the final
The Island and The Ruins victories were pretty lopsided going against 3 girls/1 guy and 2 girls. The Inferno 3 was an even playing field in my opinion. Each team had 6 players, 3 guys and 3 girls and the teams were pretty even performance wise as well.
