No one said the cast mates did have fun. That has nothing to do with fans watching the show. By "those" I mean the fans
I agree. It may have been the casts least favorite but it was a great season to watch. You would have no idea if it was terrible if you just watched the episodes.
I agree. It may have been the casts least favorite but it was a great season to watch. You would have no idea if it was terrible if you just watched the episodes.
Speak for yourself, I could not stand The Ruins
Grey Team: 0/Whatever CT (Paris) Leroy (B2Vegas) Ty (DC) CJ (Cancun) Ace (Paris) Jonna (Cancun) Sarah (Brooklyn) Emily (DC) Laurel (FM2) Aneesa (Chicago)
Ace has to be the worst male competitor in challenge history. I always wondered why they kept bringing him back. the guy just sucks at everything.
The Challenge Battle of the Seasons II Same format as the current one but teams of two to give more of a wide variety of cast members. l
You mean III But I love the cast.
Inferno III and Fresh Meat II = redundant. Seriously! The Island - Terrible cast and format, probably the worst challenge. The way Duel II, Cutthroat and The Ruins were good in the beginning but it lost me, the format and eliminations - too complicated, they were forgettable after the seasons were over to.

I hated the Ruins. It was a good idea, but the way the teams were set up and how the rules played out just were not fair at all. Having JEK on a team together with Darrell, Derrick, Susie, Veronica, Wes, Evelyn, Tonya, etc. against a team with Shauvon, Casey, and a few ****** rookies was just a failure waiting to happen, especially since I was rooting for the Challengers team. It was nauseating EVERY SINGLE WEEK to see JEK win every challenge, send in great players and keep Casey there the entire challenge.

They need to keep it simple.
Speak for yourself, I could not stand The Ruins
Same. I loved the cast and was so excited but parts of the format bugged me! Like how you couldn't save yourself if you were "nominated" to go in. I wish there was a lifesaver and all of the missions were team challenges so there was no individual winner. With that format it's almost impossible to overthrow powerful alliances. There's no chance to "save yourself" and throw in somebody else into the Ruins. Also you could tell the cast was bored because every scene would be them in the bedrooms talking or out on the balcony talking...that would consist of the whole episode besides the actual mission -_-.
Ace has to be the worst male competitor in challenge history. I always wondered why they kept bringing him back. the guy just sucks at everything.
Ace was good on The Inferno 3.
Not even close to worst....
Ace was horrible. I could go on and on about the crap that happened on the Inferno but the ones that always stick out are him screwing up in the snake pit, how he punked out of the bug jar elimination after 7 seconds..
Ace was horrible. He's far from the worst.
Speak for yourself, I could not stand The Ruins
I was speaking for myself.
That seems really extreme. He's far from the worst.
Alright, alright. He's no Big Easy lol, but I do think he's up there in the top 15 worst with Danny.

Ace & Danny are probably two of the most disappointing ever--along with MJ
but if it were anything else, people would be *****ing "this isnt the real world! too much drama!"
People don't care when drama occurs--people care when it takes over the show
People don't care when drama occurs--people care when it takes over the show
I like the drama, but I prefer to watch them have fun in the down time. They should expand those 20 second clips they put in between commercials.
I like the drama, but I prefer to watch them have fun in the down time. They should expand those 20 second clips they put in between commercials.
I agree--those 20 second clips are usually better than the "drama" they do show IMO
Ace & Danny are probably two of the most disappointing ever--along with MJ
... MJ's won one and went home close to the end his other two times, how is that being a disappointment?
Inferno III and Fresh Meat II = redundant. Seriously! The Island - Terrible cast and format, probably the worst challenge. The way Duel II, Cutthroat and The Ruins were good in the beginning but it lost me, the format and eliminations - too complicated, they were forgettable after the seasons were over to.
The Duel 2 was the probably the most straight forward a voting process could possibly be, in The Ruins and Cutthroat it was as easy as just voting someone in from your team. You'd have to be a toddler to not grasp that. No offense. However, I do agree with The Inferno 3 and Fresh Meat II. In my opinion those were the two most boring challenges to date and the casts were horrible. Especially Fresh Meat II. I for one enjoyed The Island. Looking back on it now and watching it since it was on TV, it was probably the most entertaining challenge of any that I have seen and I've been watching since The Gauntlet. The drama now with these new kids (stealing laundry? come on) is just so ridiculous. Back then, the drama was real and it had to do with the game and getting people to psychologically break down. Knight can say what he wants about "I was trying to get Nany to mentally exhaust herself", but it was just a drunken prank.
Same. I loved the cast and was so excited but parts of the format bugged me! Like how you couldn't save yourself if you were "nominated" to go in. Also you could tell the cast was bored because every scene would be them in the bedrooms talking or out on the balcony talking...that would consist of the whole episode besides the actual mission -_-.
There hasn't been a challenge like this years...why would they start now? The biggest reason there probably won't ever be another challenge with lifesavers again is because there would need to be 16 episodes like there were last time they did it, and as you can see now there are only 10. To have a lifesaver rule would constitute there being elimination rounds every other challenge and you can't fit that into a 10 episode season, unless they only wanted 5 eliminations, which will not happen.
Ace was horrible. I could go on and on about the crap that happened on the Inferno but the ones that always stick out are him screwing up in the snake pit, how he punked out of the bug jar elimination after 7 seconds..
Of everything on these challenges that I have seen there are very few of them that I would not do, one of them being the bug mask elimination round. I do not blame Ace whatsoever for not doing that, I sure as hell wouldn't.
Ace has to be the worst male competitor in challenge history. I always wondered why they kept bringing him back. the guy just sucks at everything.
How is he the worst? He has made it to a final challenge. He has won a life shield over Timmy, Alton, and Johnny. Sure he's never won an elimination round, but there are plenty of male challenge competitors that have been on multiple challenges and have never won an elimination or made it to a final.
... MJ's won one and went home close to the end his other two times, how is that being a disappointment?
Because MJ was someone that people though could dominate. He's never lived up to that. Absolutely a disappointment IMO
I dont think Ace is The weakest... But he was a huge let down.. But also i want to know why Patrick from Road Rules X-Treme never did a challenge i thought he was gonna be a regular on the show... :(
I really don't see how it was complicated--they voted someone in on their team
Cutthroat was the most complicated to keep up with if you missed an episode or two. I don't even remember how The Ruins format was besides a ballot vote (I think?) and Duel II eliminating a male and a female a week was meh for me. Bottom line is, they weren't that simple lol.
People don't care when drama occurs--people care when it takes over the show
That's what this show(and pretty much all of Reality Tv) is all about...Drama. That's whats gonna keep people watching at the end of the day..not athleticism. Not the challenges, and not the Elimination rounds. So it's probably best if the drama takes over.
I dont think Ace is The weakest... But he was a huge let down.. But also i want to know why Patrick from Road Rules X-Treme never did a challenge i thought he was gonna be a regular on the show... :(
From what I heard. Patrick didn't like the way he was portrayed on his season. So because of that I guess he refused to do the challenges..I think it's the same reason why Cara from Real World Chicago never did one either.
Cutthroat was the most complicated to keep up with if you missed an episode or two. I don't even remember how The Ruins format was besides a ballot vote (I think?) and Duel II eliminating a male and a female a week was meh for me. Bottom line is, they weren't that simple lol.
How were any of those at all complicated? Cutthroat was literally the 2 losing teams voting in a guy and a girl. I don't see how missing an episode or 2 of that season would be any different than missing a few episodes from another season. Duel 2 was just like Duel 1 except a guy and a girl went in. The Ruins I guess was the most complicated of the 3, but complicated is way too strong of a word. They had to nominate 3 guys and 3 girls, and whatever team won got to pick the matchups. None of those were at all complicated. The only challenge you could say the format was at all complicated was The Island, but even that wasn't complicated at all.
