Yes.. Cancun/San Diego won an elimination(s)? Interesting.. I hope to see Jonna kick *** this challenge, same for Sam so I hope it was one of them winning in the Arena.
I think she means "yes, I have an idea if the two teams won an elimination." She's not necessarily saying that they DID.

Zach gets injured on the Airheads type challenge and that seems to be the last challenge right before the final. Perhaps he was targeted because of his injuries. And how are people able to know who was in an alliance with each other? From what part of any trailers or promos do they make it clear than San Diego and Cancun are in an alliance.
And further research provided me with a photo of Frank and Dustin going at it in the river!
Hahahahahahaha!
And how are people able to know who was in an alliance with each other? From what part of any trailers or promos do they make it clear than San Diego and Cancun are in an alliance.
I said that was the case.
I said that was the case.
Didn't read that. I'll figure it out once it airs. I'm not really that worried about who is in an alliance.
I really don't understand how MTV hasn't gotten 10,000 tweets yet. They have 5 and a half million followers.
I really don't understand how MTV hasn't gotten 10,000 tweets yet. They have 5 and a half million followers.
they are playing with viewers. I mean they will air it next week and will release the premiere maybe a day before. MTV just wants us to promote the challenge so they will have more viewers
On the topic of eliminations we know based off trailers and promos that we have Eric vs Wes, Dustin & either Trishelle or Nany vs Robb & Marie, and Sarah & Chet go into elimination as a pair. I have a really strong feeling that Zach and Alton faced eachother in elimination no evidence to back it up it's just a feeling I have. Personally I feel that all of San Diego have to win a elimination round in order to truly earn the win I hate seeing people win a challenge without winning an elimination round.
The produces could not get me in that river though. I've seen the discovery channel where the gazelle goes for a sip and then in a split second its in a croc's stomach.
**** i know right

And I really don't know where you got evidence that Chet and Sarah went in.
Episode 2 synopsis Season 23, Episode 2 Episode Synopsis: Exes Danny and Melinda struggle to work together while shedding light on Knight and Jemmye's similarly fractured relationship. Also: major alliances are revealed. Original Air Date: Sep 26, 2012 I was hoping for a challenge where alliances did not really matter. ****.
You never know they may not. Sometimes those descriptions say stuff that isn't all that significant.

Alliances win challenges. You'd be stupid to come on a show with 32 players and just assume "you got this" nowadays.
So we can assume from here that Wes and Lacey is the 1st team to go?
Correct.

Spoiler alert the alliances are SD2, NOLA, Cancun, and St.Thomas it's a spoiler if you don't follow the threads or twitter

Having the winning team select which team goes in really removes a lot of power from an alliance. Even if the other 4.5 seasons had a larger alliance in the beginning, it doesn't matter if a team from a smaller alliance wins the first challenge.
Alliances win challenges. You'd be stupid to come on a show with 32 players and just assume "you got this" nowadays.
Oh really? How so?
Oh Wes. Can't believe that the only man which I really support on this one goes home first. This sucks.
Oh really? How so?
I just feel like Alliances play into the very important social aspect of the game. Last person I really remember trying to go into the game without a heavy alliance was Landon in Duel 2, and in the end that screwed him the second he left the room to get a hat. Fresh Meat 2 he learned his lesson and teamed with Wes. It's incredibly easy to shift or control the game in an alliance, and according to previous posts it obviously worked seeing who went home early and who didn't from the alliance. Oh wait, and CT wasn't in an alliance on Rivals and although he almost made it, he went home. Then he sort of teamed with Johnny with things, even though the main alliance was Johnny, Paula, Mark to make it to the end.
Does anyone fear that the ratings will plummet without Wes? The season is so going to be uploaded on the web and titled the "The challenge: battle of the seasons (the lost season)". *weeps* I'm totally kidding but after he leaves things will get interesting.

I think the ratings will take a hit, but because of the immense success of the past two seasons, they'll do fine. The show had 2.2 million viewers on the second episode of Exes, and then dropped to 1.9 million the third episode, although they really played up the whole Vinny thing, so a lot of online viewers probably tuned in live for that one. On Fresh Meat 2, the episode where he was eliminated had 1.2 million viewers, and the one after only .95 million. I think the ratings will do fine for three reasons: 1. Based on other characters viewers haven't seen on a challenge before, such as Nany, Jemmye, Frank, and Marie. 2. Bringing back Trishelle and Alton may bring back a few viewers back from the days of The Infernos. And 3. Every real world season is different and has different viewers, and this is what brings ALL those fans together.
I am curious to see how a pair within a team are voted into the Arena because if there are only 4 people deciding obviously a pair is going to have to nominate themselves because there is always going to be a tie.
I disagree about the ratings **** they might go up lol. plus I can't stand Wes.
If it looks from the start that Zach and Frank are gonna run everything then I wouldn't be surprised if the ratings aren't all that great.
If it looks from the start that Zach and Frank are gonna run everything then I wouldn't be surprised if the ratings aren't all that great.
See that's why I didnt want this major alliance. Small alliances that fight for the power and not just one alliance who eliminate all teams that are not in this alliance. That would be better.

I agree the show always kinda revolves around him when he's on the show even though other stuff happens. I think there's stuff on the show that MTV prefers not to show. MTV/Bunim Murray seem to love Wes cause he'll always give them whatever they want just to make the show entertaining, unlike others who dont want to look bad or get hate. And it works cause he causes such strong reactions from fans. I got a little bored of Exes after he left cause everyone else kinda got along, for the most part everyone gets along on this one too so they better show the fights that we see in the trailer.
