Real World Hollywood's Joey Kovar - Dead at 29

This is a tragic news. May he rest in peace.

His family is disputing the drugs claim: "Kovar's family said he had been sober for about six months and the aspiring actor was working on a new project. His brother David Kovar said Kovar was at a friend's home overnight, but family members had spoken with him on Thursday evening. 'Everyone is in shock right now. He seemed fine, he was happier and he was doing better,' David Kovar said. David Kovar disputed a TMZ report that said his family suspected Joey Kovar died from a drug overdose. 'That is not what anyone is suspecting, my brother was doing very well,' David Kovar said. 'Everything was going very well. The very, very last thing that our family is suspecting is drugs.'" This is heartbreaking. He was truly my favorite on his season. RIP Joey.

I just read now that he actually had two kids, two different women...that just makes this sound even worse, I feel so bad for both of them.

Aww man he was my boy thought he was getting better. Always wanted to see him do a challenge, I thought he'd be a beast. Sucks he had to go that way RIP Joey

I remember that scene. Isn't that from the season premiere after he talked to Sarah and Brianna about "not being a pretty little white boy"? Either way, rest in peace, Joey. While you were here you were an awesome individual.

Time to re-watch the season.

Nothing on Sarah's or Brit's (hers is inactive). Many other alumni from RW/RR/FM have expressed their condolences on twitter, however.

This is so horribly sad. Addiction is such an awful, sad disease.

It also seems that every so often a Real World-er is passing away. As far as his children are concerned wasn't the daughter just born and the son was how old, Reiko?
