When Rob and Trey were hitting each other's balls I was totes *****! How awesome is it when 2 adults slap each other's willy? And the names... Red Bush and Shirley, too awesome! Love this season. Most intriguing!
Uggg... This season has been such a disappointment for me so far. I just can't believe how BASIC it is. And I don't mean how the cast members look. But I'm so sick of seeing the pretty white people end up together, the two black ones together, and the outsider. Like, I could have guessed what was gonna happen when I heard Laura was from the south she was gonna be the sweet girl who falls for Trey. And I guessed from the jump it was gonna be Robb and Marie and Trey and LaToya all day. Just boring. But then again, it is the Real World, and in the Real World, this is usually what happens. It's just kinda boring, in my opinion. The Real World: Philadelphia was THE BEST season ever in my opinion. Haven't seen a season like it yet.
That's why they need to throw in some more interesting stereotypes: a really overweight person (has there ever been an obese person on RW?) and a person who's obsessed with fitness. A black person who only dates white people, or vice versa. Where's the Indian people?! Maybe a bat **** crazy married couple. A homeless person (not a bum, but a good-looking down-on-their-luck person). There are SO many crazy people out in the world, how could you NOT find them to put them on Real World?! How has nobody gotten pregnant during a season yet?! All kinds of crazy drama we've never gotten the opportunity to see...

And also, I thought it was in the contract they would be kicked off for getting pregnant? I thought I read that somewhere. Also, I wish they would stop with the ALMOST every season having the gay guy, the nerd, & the hot blonde. Like get new people. Don't always cast them & maybe it'll work out -___- Either way I'll still watch the Real World for awhile until it gets cancelled.

Shavonda only dated white guys, Zach and Callie were obsessed with fitness, Brandon K was homeless. I do however want to see more Latino/Middle eastern (Iranian/North African specifically) male castmates and more mixed race women.
& I agree with more ethnic people. Just look at BGC...

I think nit-picking and saying "I wanna see more XYZ" is silly, because often it is delivered and people still arn't happy. Bottom line, it is all about the chemistry of the cast and their ability to be controversial enough to be interesting, but have enough rewarding qualities to be able to watch. For example, Dustin and Nani were controversial characters, but both had rewarding qualities that made them likable and seem genuine. Frank was controversial to the point that it was irritating to watch, and pathetic. They can be any race, color, weight, economic status, but they need that balance, or it doesn't matter what color they are.
Anyone notice the beach they go to in the beginning of the episode is the same beach where those original photos came from that led to people finding out (3 of?) the cast members? That was my first thought when they initially got there. Didn't see the kid, though.
Yep, I noticed that too. I mainly noticed it because of the bathing suits they were wearing hahahaha

I wish they would put a plus size girl on the show though. Plus size guys would not make the best TV if they ran around shirtless LOL. I think the contract says they must report being pregnant to production and that they could be booted for it, not that they will automatically be kicked off. It's all up to the producers. As for whoever suggested a homeless person (as in a real homeless person, not just someone who sponges off their friends instead of getting their own place), I would like to see that too but it would be a PR nightmare if they end up right back on the streets when they leave the house ("You heartless ******** threw Johnnie/Suzie out on the streets like the trash when you were done with them. Boycott MTV!") plus it might make it harder to stay in touch with them for aftershows and the reunion.

I know it's hella late but I'm finally getting around to watching this season and just watched this episode. After the first 2 episodes, this is how I rank my favorite cast members LaToya>Brandon>Laura>Swift>Marie>Robb>Trey
Why Brandon? He did nothing but ***** and moan for the first 2 episodes?
I realize it's an unpopular opinion but I identify a lot with Brandon. I've noticed him being a **** a lot but hell...so can I.
