You sound bitter because of your wording.
I don't think you'll find any quote from LeBron saying that he is "too good to go to the Knicks" lol. He chose to go to Miami; he didn't choose to not go to New York...
Because of my wording? I don't think so. Thanks for trying though. I just said how I feel. In other words Screw Miami.
I forgot about the game as i was outside. Hopefully OKC steps it up

Hey hey now, I know you mean screw the Miami team, but come on now. I'm from Miami so...
I gotta admit OKC surpises me, but I will still root for my team.
Some things about the game:
1. OKC can't continue to spot teams big leads in the 1st half. They have done it in every round of the playoffs and it finally caught up to them tonight.
2. Westbrook is probably the most fascinating player in the NBA. He is a fantastic player that is playing out of position. He has moments where you want to kill him for making a bad decision but he gives maximum effort on every play and is an explosive athlete.
3. The no-call at the end of the game wasn't that bad. It was a missed call, but it wasn't blatantly obvious in real time like it is with a slow-motion replay.
4. Miami's end of game offense in the final minute (after the LeBron bank shot) was horrific. They didn't know how to set screens to prevent ball pressure and stopped running the offense that got them the lead.
It looked like the Pacquiao judges were refereeing the game at the end (but that goes for most the NBA anymore too many missed calls, wrong calls, giving calls for floppers)
Lebron was fouled at the end of the first quarter and that wasn't called either.
The only ones who can be blamed for OKC's loss is OKC for letting the Heat go up 18 to 2. Let me repeat that, EIGHTEEN TO TWO! If they actually scored in the few minutes or played better early on, they'd have won.
So pretty much the Heat have played better in the first half of both games and the Thunder have played better in the second half. Whoever can stop the other one (or if Durant finally starts missing every so often, be it because of himself or the Heat) is going to win the whole thing.

Don't worry you're still good to me, New.
How did OKC make the Finals ? They have played like crap this entire series, especially in critical situations AKA they choke...Miami Heat in 5...I don't see OKC winning in Miami...

They "choked" tonight but in the first two games they played great in the 2nd half.

They were also terrible in the 1st half of the first 2 games. OKC needs to stop putting Durant on LeBron and/or Wade because he gets into foul trouble because he can't guard them. They also need to not commit stupid fouls. OKC has the same problem that they have had all year. They have 3 people who can score consistently and when 1 of them struggles, they struggle.

I see them winning one of the next two. Heat in 6 or 7. LeBron will be series MVP.
Now what Furyk did yesterday at the US Open, that's a choke.
Westbrook was fantastic tonight but I think certain members of the media will blame the entire loss on him because he messed up after the jump ball. People will also use LeBron not playing the Final minute as a reason to say he isn't clutch. Harden has been absolutely terrible. He looked terrified to shoot the ball. The moment is far too big for him right now. I shouldn't have trusted the Thunder's youth to hold up in big moments.
That 3 that Lebron made when the game was tied was completely clutch. He has really stepped up his game. The Thunder will be back as long as they can keep the core together.
I wanted the Thunder to win, but I didn't think it would happen because of their youth. Didn't want to see the Heat win a championship, but knew it was inevitable. But the Thunder have a great young core that will get better from this Finals experience. Of course the key to any great core is chemistry and being able to keep them together. So I hope that the Thunder can retain their players and keep at it.

Disagree somewhat, put Rondo in Westbrook's place and that series goes 7 w/OKC losing at minimum. And then they have the conundrum of who to put on the floor in the clutch between Harden (good offense, sucky defense) and Selflosha (the opposite of Harden). The big men don't score. So as you saw, if Durant can't get his shot, and Harden disappears, their hopes rest on Westbrook, a supreme athletic talent who has proven to be unreliable for stretches. Not a formula for a title, I'd say.
No.
Welp, I was wrong. I thought OKC would have beaten the Heat, especially after getting past San Antonio, but their youth and inexperience showed in the Finals, especially in James Harden who was terrific in the first 3 rounds.

I don't know why people keep saying that the reason the Thunder lost was because they are young and inexperienced. They played well and are a great team, but they were beaten by a better team. The Thunder would have beaten any team from the Eastern Conference except the Heat. Like you said, James Harden did not perform at the level everyone expected, but Westbrook and Durant, in my opinion, shined in the Finals. Since they lost their performances will be overlooked and they will be labeled "too young" even though they played so well.
I'd still trade Westbrook for Rondo any day, just because Westbrook isn't a great point more like a 2 guard, he's Iverson 2.0. Rondo is a great point and would shine more in OKC, I mean he averaged over 10 assists with Bostons average offense he'd average probably 15 on OKC.

1. OKC isn't a good fit for Rondo with the way they are currently constructed. Who outside of Harden and Durant would you trust to knock down shots? On Boston you have KG, Bass, Pierce, Allen, and Bradley who could hit shots consistently making him a good fit and you have a streaky shooter in Pietrus who can knock them down if he gets hot
2. There is almost no way he would average 15 assists per game on OKC. That would break the NBA record for assists per game in a season by a pretty big margin (14.5 per game is the record).
3. OKC doesn't need to make any major moves. They need to continue to develop their young talent, have Eric Maynor come back healthy, and perhaps sign a backup like Stevenson, Hinrich, or Belinelli that can be a decent 3 pt shooter and fit under their cap.

Id take Durant and Harden over the whole Boston lineup. And Id trust Fisher over Bradley, Bass and Ray Allen(whos gone this off season because hes looking old, and so many missed open shots). What I would love is for OKC to go after Nash (give them the veteran presence they need in big moments) and move Westbrook over to the 2 guard where he belongs, but that probably won't happen.
Haha we have a Marco Belinelli sighting.
Hey, the Thunder could really use him. He is a 39% career 3 pt shooter and can space the floor for them. Just give him the minutes Fisher played and you already have a big upgrade.
What's funny is sometime I play NBA Live 09 on my PSP and Belinelli is rated at like an 84 or 85, as if they think he could break into the elite as far as PG's go. Fish is done and should retire.
Russell Westbrook is garbage...with Sefolosha, Ibaka, and Perkins being so limited offensively, the Thunder need a point guard that can create easy scoring opportunities for them. That is Rondo's specialty. Westbrook will just play hood ball and dribble the shot clock down every possession looking to score himself and if he absolutely can't get anything, then he gives the ball up to Durant. Durant's scoring ability is so ridiculous that they can get by most teams with that approach but it'll never win them a title.

I'm happy. Hopefully this will help Kobe get his sixth. Bad investment for the Suns though. They basically got four second round picks. Crossing finger for Howard!
