So of the 7 girls who had done a challenge before, who are the top ones now that KellyAnne isn't there anymore?
It seems to me like it's Camila and Cara Maria are the only two who have shown anything in a big final before so it has to be them. I mean it can't be Melinda, Jasmine, Jonna, or Trishelle and Sarah hasn't really done much since going down on Cutthroat.
Sarah has shown more in a final mission than Camila and Cara Maria combined. They are both so very overrated, especially Camila.
Sarah has shown more in a final mission than Camila and Cara Maria combined. They are both so very overrated, especially Camila.
...
Cara Maria finished Rivals and Camila won Exes. Sarah finished The Ruins, which has been regarded as the easiest final since The Island by multiple cast members AND couldn't make it through Cutthroat's...
I don't see how that proves she's better than either of the two at finals. Then again, I don't doubt that this season's final will be similar to The Ruins or even easier and won't be all that difficult in terms of length so that may favor Sarah.
I agree that CM is better than Sarah at finals, solely because they were both on the same team on Cutthroat if i remember correctly and the only 3 that finished that final on that team was Laurel, Luke & CM. At the same time though Sarah is smarter than basically all 3 of them so without her they might not have even gotten past puzzles (were there any in that final?) Either way, Sarah is vital to any final because of how well she is at puzzles.
Camila on the other hand won Exes because of her partner Johnny. If she wasnt paired with Johnny she might not have even made it to the final. Plus, during the Exes final they go to sleep & a little sleep is better than none. Also, its probably harder to do one of those brutal challenges in scorching hot weather hours on end and get dehydrated than it is to do in freezing cold where eventually your body goes numb so you cant even tell how cold it is.

Just having one fact would be useful, and I don't know if a single person has left the challenge. More power to those of you who don't seem reluctant to draw conclusions from the absence of facts.

If Cutthroat's final was easier than The Ruins and you are arguing Sarah was weak during Cutthroats final (even though she was sick) how did she finish the Ruins final and not Cutthroats?
Also I'm assuming you would make the same argument that Cara Maria and Luke are superior competitors than Abe? since he didnt finish that final either, and actually dropped out before Sarah.
Sarah is underrated just because people dont like her or think she has done too many challenges.

Molds has declared it so, and as you pointed out just a few days ago, she has a I'm Smarter Than You Degree from Fancy Pants University. :sarcastic_hand:
BTW, there have been friends added to Isaac's FB in June so he is likely home as well.

A. I like Sarah B. I said The Ruins was the easiesr one, Cutthroat was the 3rd hardest in the show's history in my opinion. C. Abram went down due to malnutrition and sun poisoning, Sarah was panicking about not being able to finish before the final even began.
This is getting off topic though so I'll just leave it at Sarah hasn't impressed me enough since The Ruins to be considered a top girl this season
Wow! Didn't see that coming, Team Sydney eliminated 1st? that's a shocker. Is not cool cause KELLY ANN is a very strong female competitor and I really wanted her to make it all the way to the end. And I never imagined that 4 people are going to be eliminated at the same time. Can't we just have 1 v.s. 1 elimination again? You know how many great competitors are going to be eliminated cause they had a weak link on their team? This is the reason why Queen Evelyn lost FM1 and FM2, because of her partner and it was so annoying to see that. I have a feeling the eliminations will be FM type of elimination and not Rivals and Exes, even tho I hope for some type of eliminations a la " X battle" from Exes, but with 4 people I mean, is probably not going to happen.
About who the strongest veteran girl is now that Kelly Ann is out, I think is definitely Cara Maria for several reasons. Out of the 5 other veterans girls that are in this challenge and that have done a challenge with her, she helped beat out 3 of them in eliminations, beat(Outlasted) another one on a final, and outlasted the other one on Cutthroat. Just like she said on Exes, "I've been known to ride a few"!! Yes you do!! :D
I still hope Team AUSTIN wins and if is all of them or none of them, then there's a chance of all of them winning, meaning having all of Austin cast to have won a challenge!!. Cara Maria, Alton and Jonna better make it Far!! Final 4 right there! xD.
Kelly Anne is a good athlete and competitor but she isnt invincible, if I remember correctly Johanna outlasted her in the challenge before the final for the last key on the Island. She also would have gotten beaten badly by Evelyn in the Ruins.
There are several girls that could beat Kelly Anne on this challenge 1 on 1. But since this is obviously a challenge in teams of 4, KA isnt competing individually.
Just out of curiosity, who are the several girls on this challenge that you think could beat KellyAnne 1 on 1?
Before that faceoff, KA said that she was scared of drowning, while Johanna stated that water challenges were her specialty. Not saying she didn't beat her fair and square, but everyone has their strengths and weaknesses, and it just so happened that Johanna was more comfortable in water than KA. And there aren't a ton of girls who wouldn't get beaten badly by Evelyn, especially at that elimination game.
Anyway, as for the other 7 girls we have seen on a challenge:
Cara Maria- Physically we know she can hang, she was one of the top girls from FM2 trials.
Sarah- Touted for being smart, I don't doubt this claim but she has underwhelmed at puzzles in crunch time(Ruins final, Rivals elimination). However she loves doing challenges and is especially good with water and swimming.
Camila- Just won Exes, did well on the challenges her and Johnny won. She beat C.T., Ty and Emily to the finish line (I'd say Diem as well but I feel like she could have beaten all) in a very tough final.
Jonna- Smart (beat Sarah and Katelynn in the elimination on Rivals), has jumping ability (beat all the girls along with Jasmine on the first challenge of Rivals).
Trishelle- Have not personally seen her.
Melinda- Gauntlet 3, was seen as a top girl on the rookies team along with Tori and Janelle. I have yet to see why exactly. I hope she can show why people saw her that way.
Jasmine- Little firecracker! Can jump (see Jonna) so has some athleticism.
Sarah has shown more in a final mission than Camila and Cara Maria combined. They are both so very overrated, especially Camila.
Really? Cuz I'm pretty sure Sarah has only been in 2 finals in her 5 challenge appearances and Camila has been in 1 and Cara Maria has seen 2. So actually Sarah HAS NOT appeared in more finals than CM and Camila combined.
I'm happy to see Sydney out, didn't like their season or a lot of their cast. Not a Kelly Anne fan, I mean she's hot and a good competitor, def best on her team by far, but can't carry her team. Never thought too much of Dunbar I think he's one of the most overrated players ever. I like Isaac but I just don't see him as a good competitor for a challenge. And the other girl idk who that is.

Pretty sure they weren't referring to Sarah being in more finals, but how they think Sarah showed more from her finals performance than both Camila and CM have.

You missed the point (which did require some suspension of disbelief). There is not a fact available to suggest the Sydney team will ever appear on this challenge. I don't doubt they were on an airplane leaving the US, nor do I doubt they have all returned. Over 99 of the likely viewing audience may never know there potentially was a Sydney team if they don't appear in the edit of episode 1. I don't think MTV will feel compelled to put the reason for their "non-appearance" into the episode simply because some upstart web forum with a hand-full of readers said they were there.

I'm not sure why people think KellyAnne is elite or even good for that matter.
So--who would beat her on this cast?
I'd fully expect Jonna to crush her in an elimination round regardless of what it was despite the fact I don't like Jonna.
Camila would be favored to beat her in my opinion. I would also expect Sarah to beat her. Sarah's never lost an elimination round that wasn't with a partner (and we all know she's had awful partners every time--Vinny x 2 and Katelynn--yikes) and neither of her opposition threw her one.
KellyAnne would beat Jasmine in almost every event and Melinda--but neither are very athletic IMO. Melinda was the most overrated player on the Gauntlet III unless someone still thinks Rachel (Austin) is good/decent.
I also think KellAnne would crush Cara Maria (who's only win is against Mandi). I like Cara Maria a lot as a person but she's not a good competitor at all. She lost with Darrell--a feat that seems impossible--in FM. Then she reached the finals of Cutthroat because Abram protected her by sending Laurel into the Gulag against Camila. Does anyone think for a second Cara Maria beat Camila in the Dice game? Abe knew very well he had to save her. Then she "outlasted" Sarah in the finals because Laurel & Luke (who did surprisingly well) carried her for, what, an hour. In Rivals Laurel carried her the entire way--including in the Finals. Then she lost with Abe (another strong partner) in Exes.
I really like Cara Maria but if I was picking a team she wouldn't be on it before Sarah, Jonna or Camila for sure. I'd also gamble on Ashley (SD2), Sam (SD2), Nany and both St. Thomas girls (just going off appearance on that one). I'd also take Trishelle before her if I thought Trishelle could keep her emotions in check and not sleep with half the cast before the first competition.
Okay, that was longer than I wanted but I think KellyAnne is getting way too much respect (I never thought Sydney had a chance to be honest) and the same with Cara Maria because people (myself included) "like" her.
I've been trying to find this for a while and just cannot find it.
How much time is there between the cast departure and the season premiere ? I know it probably won't be exactly like previous seasons but it still gives an idea. I was not able to find any posts related to that or the previous seasons departure date.
Can anyone answer me in this forum or in a PM please ?

I think their appearance, or lack of appearance, will be determined by the reason why they left. If it is something that would create good TV, then we may see them in episode 1. If it is something stupid like an invalid visa, then they probably won't show it.

Probably 4-5 months or so. Depends on when they want to premiere it.
KellyAnne did beat Rachel (great competitor) and Robin (not good) in a faceoff but that wasn't 1 on 1. Very different IMO.
KellyAnne wasn't overly impressive in the competitions during the Ruins (average would be fair) and was definitely weaker than Sarah was in the final. She may still be on the balance beam as we speak. .
So--who would beat her on this cast?

I'd agree and say that both Sarah and Camila might be able to beat KellyAnne depending on the elimination. But choosing the best athlete out of them (and Jonna) I'd still say KA. Isn't the only 1 on 1 elimination Sarah's been in the one vs. Katie, and didn't she lose a round? As for Jonna, she does seem very smart and potentially athletic(want to see more to judge), but what has she done to make you think she would crush KA?
I still think that of the speculated girls to be on this next challenge that KellyAnne is the most athletic competitor. I also think Ashley, Nany and the St. Thomas girls based on gym usage or athletic backgrounds could do well. Devyn and McKenzie are two more I can't wait to see on a challenge.

As I mentioned earlier, while not fact at all, I suspect they DO make an appearance on the challenge, even if they don't actually end up competing, as it seems awfully suspicious that none of them have tweeted at all since their return, especially Ashli and KellyAnne who both tweeted at least once every 2 days (usually once a day) for the past few months. That makes me think they DID in fact appear on tv, as why else would they be (potentially) asked to stay off social media upon return? (I don't necessarily ask that rhetorically if there is a differing logical opinion!)

If that were a term of their contract they would be bound by it whether or not they competed or end up in the final edit unless they wanted to risk being sued for a breach. Lots of assumptions in my first sentence, but that could theoretically be a reason.

Good point and could very well be true that it is actually written in their contracts since much is apparently changing this season. I hope another team/team member who is active on social media is spotted in the US soon so that we can evaluate their post-return online behavior (or lack thereof)!
Pretty sure they weren't referring to Sarah being in more finals, but how they think Sarah showed more from her finals performance than both Camila and CM have.
Okay even then. Sarah has completed 1 final challenge and lets be honest, she didn't stand a chance. She showed nothing in the final in The Ruins except that she can eat gross **** and shimmy across bamboo pipes faster than KellyAnne. She couldn't even figure out the puzzle. Cara Maria completed the final on Cutthroat, Sarah didn't, and Cara Maria lost Rivals by a few minutes. And Camila WON a final challenge, something that Sarah has never come close to.

The only challenge Sarah can really take fault for not winning is Cutthroat. Each season she had an afwul team/teammate.
Sarah pulled KellyAnne down in The Ruins final, there is no doubt in my mind that KellyAnne would have won if she was by herself.
As much as I like Kelly Anne and dislike Sarah, Kelly Anne lost that for them. They were winning until Kelly Anne couldn't do the balance thing(I don't remember what the obstacle specifically was).

I disagree. Yeah, Sarah did outperform KellyAnne on that one obstacle, but overall had KellyAnne been by herself she would have smoked Sarah, especially because that final had so much running (although not The Ruins final did not have nearly as much as recent challenge finals).
Sarah pulled KellyAnne down in The Ruins final, there is no doubt in my mind that KellyAnne would have won if she was by herself.
As a person I like KellyAnne more than Sarah as well but KellyAnne was the weak link on that team in the final. I have no idea what you're basing this on other than a dislike of Sarah
Can we stop comparing Kellyanne to Sarah? We all think Kellyanne is the second-coming of ****** and Sarah is a sloppy tomboy. That's it. Leave it at that. On to the next topic, please.

I'm looking forward to seeing Devyn and McKenzie as well--thinking they could be very good or train wrecks.
I definitely don't think KellyAnne was the best athlete from the girls on this challenge--hopefully they didn't get kicked off so we can see.
