I am sorry, I don't support that sort of behavior either. Just want a good challenge with lots of drama :).
Violence and bully behavior is never an acceptable choice. Period!
^^Yeah, what he said! (unless of course it is carried out by the US Department of Defense and/or its political leaders and/or other uniformed government sanctioned law enforcement departments/divisions/agencies. Then it is both acceptable and encouraged).
Woken from my blissful dream to this nightmare. I adore Cara Maria, though. I would however, love for Camila, to just go away. She can take Eric with her and Brandon is just total 100% creeper status.
I'm very happy for Brandon if he is on because he has been dying to get back on a show. I really hope a certain someone has gone with him though.
I hope this cast is huge. Maybe they got more rookies because they can have a bigger cast without having to spend that much more money. (Fewer veteran pay scales). I don't know how much more vets get than rooks but if it's significant, they maybe be able to have two rooks for every vet.
It really goes back to that Aftershow though I think where they talked about the Fratpad stuff. Apparently, from what I can figure out from little bits here and there, it went bad. Chet had a script of questions that was supposed to allow Dustin to present his side in a better way than ended up happening. Chet apparently went off script in a way that was making Dustin look really bad (with most of it not shown on TV). During either a break or after filming, Dustin was supposedly really upset with Chet and had words with the producers about him backstage. Chet then got mad that Dustin was trying to bad mouth him to the producers and get him fired, or at least that's my interpretation of what I heard. They had a twitter exchange about it after the show aired in which Dustin wanted to know why Chet hated him so much and Chet called him something like a prima-donna for trying to get him fired. That was followed by a twitter exchange between Chet and one of the Fratpad people in which Chet was attacking them.
Thanks for the inside scoop. Now I am really excited to see how this Chet-Dustin "smackdown" unfolds. I just hope it doesn't get edited out. That would be a major disappointment for me personally.
And I hope to see Sandy back. Sure, she isn't really all that athletic, but neither is Mandi. We should at least give her another try. I would really like to see her on another challenge just so that we can interject some more color onto these challenges. This is a minority group that has essentially zero representation on these shows.
Sandy does not seem to be part of the off-seasoners team....

Camila, Eric and Cara Maria are in.... so its down to either Brandon or Pete for the last team member...
Well done, LexBlair. Only one to go if mold13 is right yet again.

The harder challenge now is in finding those who have returned home who do not wish to be found.
There may be a sea change in cast behavior this year. I'd really applaud if MTV really upped their game by having a private place for the eliminated cast to go before returning to the US. I'd also be impressed if MTV offered financial incentives for the cast to keep off social media after their elimination and return to the US.

Does that mean we should be on the look-out for eliminated people?;)

Do you really think they would spend extra money on that? I´d imagine they would just include a paragraph for the exercise of discretion in their newest contract.
I don't get MTV/BMP you have such a new and fresh cast and spoil it with a Real World Rejects team. Eric brings nothing to the challenges, Cara Maria is pointlessly overused, and Camilla never deserved to be on a challenge in the first place. I like Brandon and would really like to see Pete on a challenge but if it is a team format it really doesnt matter because 3/4 suck and I hope they exist 2nd right behind San Diego. Also 36 is too large for a challenge too many personalities to show. All the people we are excited to see back will just get random confessionals every once in a while till their elimination episode.
I don't get MTV/BMP you have such a new and fresh cast and spoil it with a Real World Rejects team.
Perhaps their intention was to bring you the perfect set of challengers and then the real world slapped them in the face. All they could do is to make the best of it.
I expect to learn that MTV didn't plan to used either an FW or RW team, but some absolutely unavoidable circumstance placed them in the unfortunate position of having to do exactly what they, you and others didn't want.
Does that mean we should be on the look-out for eliminated people?;)
I already expect you are doing exactly that. I was simply encouraging others to act similarly. ;)

1. No, but one can hope. After all, the new approach to the challenges is something I've been speaking out about publicly and privately for about seven years now. I'd like to think that I have a kindred spirit in the executive offices of MTV.
2. The cast doesn't read their contract as it is, but they do understand money. The question would be how important cast silence is as an objective to MTV.
I really hope it isn't a case that one team got kicked off or something similar. I'm hoping, against my better judgement, that this team was simply added on at the last minute for whatever reason. I'm also sorely disappointed that Eric, Cara Maria, and Camila are probably 3/4 of the new team. I was excited at the prospect of Sandy and Pete actually.
What scares me the most is the thought of the FM team actually winning. At this point all we can do is hope that they didn't come in to replace a team.

Do you think they could have had another team (let's say Key West) making it 9 teams to begin with, and something happened and they couldn't get a replacement from that season. So they contacted the "back-up" team to fly them in as soon as possible.
But just why would an entire team be replaced? (If that is what some of you are assuming)
If an altercation happened why would one person be the cause and three others would have to go home as well?
My only guesses is that this FM team is a back up team (I hope not) or a twist just to throw real worlders off.

If the Fresh Meat team is a replacement, then we can assume that the teams will be eliminated in 4's.
If the Fresh Meat team is a replacement, then we can assume that the teams will be eliminated in 4's.
That or a conflict may have arisen between two teammates. Just looking at the teams (the Vegas one especially), I had anticipated that two people from each four person team would be eliminated at some point (one male/one female).

If they lose and win together (all 4 of them) I don't see them having a real shot at winning at all...because no matter how strong of a girl Camila is (especially compared to other girls on this season) and both Cara Maria and Brandon (I have a feeling he is going to be the 4th team member:(), being decent enough competitors ,with Eric being there I'd say they would be happy if they even made it to the finals, but I doubt they would.
Of course, if they are eliminated one by one or in pairs, I see them having a good shot at making it to the finals.
PS - I am sure Wes is trying to strike up an alliance with the veteran teams, with all those newbies and rookies there...including Austin, Sydney, Brooklyn and the Off-Seasoners....

That is why they shouldn't have had a 4 person team, also they had way better options that Cara Maria, Camila, and Eric.
That is why they shouldn't have had a 4 person team, also they had way better options that Cara Maria, Camila, and Eric.
You have to realize that there is a huge difference between having better options to choose from and having better people who would be available AND agree to doing the challenge. They may have asked a wide range of people and a majority were not available for that time frame. Those who are not currently working or have flexibility in their jobs are more apt to accept the invitation than those who have set jobs that don't allow them 6 weeks off.
Yes, there are 25 Fresh Meat available to choose from. No, not all 25 were asked to be on the challenge for various reasons. And no, not all 25 would drop their jobs and lives in 24 hours notice to go somewhere for six weeks.
Therefore - there really aren't many better options, if any.

They had other seasons, us since Camila isn't Fresh Meat they could have just had a Road Rules team or not of had teams of 4. Still think there was atleast 2 better options than Eric and Camila.

As someone who knows a large majority of the people who tested - there really weren't.
All this Eric hate! I've always liked the dude. He has lost a lot of weight since Cutthroat, and I thought he had a good showing at that challenge save for the Luke debacle. Could be a cool story if he makes it to and finishes a final.

What?? Cara Maria is a GREAT competitor, and every time someone says she isn't is clearly someone who is new to the challenges. She was the 2nd BEST girl on Fresh Meat 2, and beat Laurel in several stuff in the training (Like Pull Ups, Cara did 6 and Laurel only did 2, and also beat her in short distant run) My point is that she's a great competitor not only in challenges but also in Eliminations. Shes tough (even the Queen Evelyn, I'm such a big fan of Evelyn :D, says she's one of the toughest she's done a challenge with), she's also "interesting", "different", etc, but I like her most for being competitive, which you can't say that to a lot of the female competitors. So she's not "pointless".
As someone who knows a large majority of the people who tested - there really weren't.
If that is the case, they should have just been a team short. I would much rather see focus on the quality cast they already have. They also should have thought out the decision to eliminate teams of 4. If Dustin got kicked off and the whole Vegas team is eliminated as a result, or any other situation like that they lose three great casting choices. Should have known from the beginning that the cast was too good and MTV/BMP would find a way to ruin it.
Soooo, some people are commenting that Cara Maria, Eric and Camila are in? If is true than I'm excited for Cara Maria to go in an elimination and take some girls out! (Assuming is a 1 v.s. 1). Also even tho I'm not a fan of Camila, the girl is tough and brings drama. Cara Maria and Camila will be GREAT on a team together since both of them are strong, and if Brandon is also there, they could be one of the Top teams for sure. Now if Eric is there, hes going to bring the team down, so I hope is a 1 v.s. 1 elimination so they can somehow (depending on the rules, etc) put him in elimination if hes not performing well.
I just can't wait to see the 1st people/group eliminated to have an idea on how many people go home together. I hope is only 1 every elimination, I miss those! lol

I never said she wasn't a good competitor but she has been on every season since Fresh Meat and not for justified reason. Only memorable moment she had was Laurel going off on Paula in her defense. She is not deserving of being on every challenge.

Maybe BMP will hire you as a casting associate for next season
If that is the case, they should have just been a team short.
Or just jump right in a become the producer.
(OK, I'm messing with you here, but, honestly, BMP and MTV have a conference room full of very smart people working hard before the challenges to get the best possible cast mix and most workable concept, and we have no clue what it is they are doing, wherever the challenge may be.)
I never said she wasn't a good competitor but she has been on every season since Fresh Meat and not for justified reason. Only memorable moment she had was Laurel going off on Paula in her defense. She is not deserving of being on every challenge.
By reading your comments I think the situation here is that both of us have a different "View" on what should qualify someone to keep coming back to challenges. For me, If someone is a tough competitor like (Evelyn, Emily DC, Rachel, Laurel, Cara Maria, Jodi, Kelly Ann, Alton, CT, Landon, Wes) I would most definitely, even if I'm not a fan of all of them, think they are deserving on being in most challenges. There are not too many females who wants/are available who are tougher than Cara, YES there are several, but is not like there are a whole lot of females who can replace her competitive wise. Also did you watch Cutthroat? Cause she was also memorable with the whole romance she had with Abe (and that's how she became popular on the internet) and the rivalry she had with Laurel. She also beat Mandi and made it all the way to the end. Her romance with Abe, rivalry with laurel and her toughness made her very memorable that season. In Rivals she also had her moments doing great in the eliminations, and her discussions with Wes and Paula, and again, her toughness who brought her all the way to the end.
So she has had several memorable moments and is a great competitor. If you don't like her than that's 100% fine, but whether she is deserving or not of coming back is completely debatable. I think she definitely deserves to keep coming back. :D!
