Wow. That is so upsetting. Weber should definitely have been suspended and I definitely agree with the second article you posted molds, that just because a player wasn't hurt doesn't make the intentional violence any less disgusting and wrong. And now we have him mocking the move which I'm sure will help to bring on some retaliation hits which could easily spiral out of control. Bad move, NHL.
Well, I see Crosby is still a huge d-bag.
Well, I see Crosby is still a huge d-bag.
While I appreciate his talent, he is the epitome of bush league. I'm pulling for the Flyers (and it hurts me to say that.)
I am a huge flyers fan hence the nickname. Neal Asham and Adams should be suspended but they most likely won't be since they play for Pittsburgh. Glad to be up 3-0

Glad to be up 3-0
The guy who took the stick to the Adam's apple should be done for the rest of the playoffs. The guy who left his skates for that hit should also be suspended. Those are the two that come to my mind...but I couldn't remember their names. I think the Adam's apple guy was Asham. On a side note, the fact that Carl Hagelin got a 3 game suspension for that hit on Alfredsson and Shea Weber gets a $2500 fine is a travesty so I'm sure Shanahan will **** it up.

The NHL needs to stop punishing based on injury.
I give up. The NHL needs to stop punishing based on injury.
They need to start punishing based on *******... (e.g. Moving a glove on the ice after the play.)
You are so right molds and Bacchus that just goes to show you how crosby plays the game
You are so right molds and Bacchus that just goes to show you how crosby plays the game
Crosby will get what's coming to him at some point if he keeps playing the way he is. 2 fights in one game? With the way these playoffs are going, someone's going to be after him in game 4.
I don't know if we will go after him in game 4, personally I would wait until next year as I wouldn't want to lose anyone to suspension.
I don't know if we will go after him in game 4, personally I would wait until next year as I wouldn't want to lose anyone to suspension.
If someone goes after Crosby in the playoffs I'm sure the player would be suspended for 5 years... or just banned for life...
If someone goes after Crosby in the playoffs I'm sure the player would be suspended for 5 years... or just banned for life...
Shanahan does seem to have a thing for his countrymen.
Lol yea you are right. Just heard that Craig Adams got suspended for one game for taking an instigator penalty with 5 mins left. And Bylsma got fined. Also Asham has a hearing tomorrow and Neal has two separate hearings tomorrow from what I have heard.

I will be really disappointed if Asham gets anything less than 20 games. In 09, Brad May got 20 for slashing someone (I want to say from Columbus?) in the nose with his stick. This is a similar incident with intent to injure and should not be taken lightly by Shanahan. Philly has been dominating Pittsburgh, so if all goes well and Philly sweeps, Asham should start next season on the pine pony.
If someone goes after Crosby in the playoffs I'm sure the player would be suspended for 5 years... or just banned for life...
If it happened in Canada they'd also arrest him and charge him with assault, lol.
I agree molds but since Weber got nothing who knows what is going to happen.

Glad to see my team advancing to the 2nd round. We have proven that we can score goals. we just need to play defense like we did last game if we want to go further. On another note saw a stat that every game of the Phoenix Chicago series has gone to overtime which is the first time that has happened since 1955.

Give me a break!

Giroux and Briere were both on fire.
Yea they are, hopefully we can keep it up, they are long over due to win the cup again.
I think the reason Torres got suppended that long was because Hossa was put in the hospital and also because he was a repeat offender. This is his 2nd one this year alone. I do believe it is the right amount. They need to stop all the blatant attempts to injure someone.
No matter what happens, it will be a heart stopping finish in Boston tonight...
This is too stressful, B! I hope the crowd stays in it until the end to help keep the guys energized. And more shots on goal please!
This is too stressful, B! I hope the crowd stays in it until the end to help keep the guys energized. And more shots on goal please!
That's that. There is always next year.
You can read my previous posts on why I gave up on this team in late January. And so it passes...
That's that. There is always next year.
:bawl: In the end, I'm proud that we went to OT in game 7 and took it as far as it could go this round. We had our chance but couldn't get it in. And I think Holtby really impressed a lot of people during this playoff series.
I'm ready for Tuukka Rask to be the full time goalie for the Bruins. No more distractions.
Bruins got outplayed in the same way they outplayed everyone in last year's Cup run. I'm actually happy for the Caps, though, those poor ******** never win games like that historically -- I remember watching regulation and all four overtimes when they got knocked out by the Islanders back in 1987 (going way back, I know) -- this had to be extra-sweet for them.
I must admit that I've been pretty impressed with the Kings during the playoffs. I never would have thought they would make it this far. They could have their second straight sweep tonight! Even though the Bruins are out I still love watching playoff hockey.
