Danny Roberts is from the first New Orleans season right?? Where did you see recent pics of him? Very interested in seeing how he looks now.
Yes. I was bored and just googled him. Don't recall now where the site was. Sorry.
Just to let people know, you can watch London, Las Vegas I, Austin and Key West free on Amazon instant video if you sign up to the Amazon Prime free trail.
I've seen tweets from Leroy Dustin Mike and Adam all about doing a second season of Las Vegas 2. Leroy just tweeted this. "This is not an april fools joke..i will post the email we all got from ---> @mtv Real World Las Vegas Season 2"
I hope this isn't an April Fool's Joke because that was cast was golden. They are guaranteed to be entertaining if they get back together. The San Diego 2 cast was a bore.

Another Real World season did get renewed recently so it could be true. I'll be excited if this is true because I love pretty much everyone from that season, but I won't believe it until its 100% confirmed. PS: if this is true, does this mean none of them will be on the next challenge?
It's fake for sure. They wouldn't be able to be so open about it two seasons before it would even show on TV, would they?
It still irks me they refuse to call this Back to Vegas and this is round 4 but w.e. , I hope this is a seperate thing and not Real World 28 that"s just lazy lol. Hope Adam makes it to the end this go around , Again if this is all true.
It was indeed an april fools joke. darn.
Pretty sure it IS an April Fools joke. If it were real, they wouldn't be able to tweet about.
Of course it was an April Fools joke. There were many things that could tell you that it was a joke. BMP wouldn't let them tell anybody. They announced it on April 1st. MTV doesn't want Adam Royer back at all.
I don't think they will cast any gay people this season after San Diego, I think its pretty obvious there is a link between having gay cast members on the show and ratings.
I don't think they will cast any gay people this season after San Diego, I think its pretty obvious there is a link between having gay cast members on the show and ratings.
I don't get it...please elaborate. The earlier seasons always had gay cast members and had good ratings. San Diego just sucked in its entirety. RW has been ****ty since DC, with the exception of Back to Vegas. Actually if you wanna get technical, its been ****ty since Denver.
I think boring TV is why San Diego had bad TV ratings. It had nothing to do with Frank being gay. It had everything to do with the fact that the cast produced no storylines outside of the Frank drama. When you are devoid of storylines you beat the few that you have into the ground. I guess you could have seen 5 more episodes of that one chick arguing with her boyfriend over holding hands and other stupid stuff.
I watched 1.5 episodes of San Diego and Frank is the only one I remember. I can't even tell you anyone else's name.
I watched 1.5 episodes of San Diego and Frank is the only one I remember. I can't even tell you anyone else's name.
Sam was pretty memorable. The fact you don't remember priscilla is the exact reason im waiting til im 21 to apply for the show.
I don't think they will cast any gay people this season after San Diego, I think its pretty obvious there is a link between having gay cast members on the show and ratings.
I fail to see your logic. RW: San Diego was, in my opinion, an anomaly. The majority of the cast would have been better suited to appear on other seasons (Sam in Vegas had she been old enough, Frank in Cancun with the other crazies, Priscilla on a season where she could have legally consumed alcohol, Ashley in RW: Mars, etc). It was the same drama week after week, and most people just got sick of it. I knew before that season even aired that it was going to be a failure based on the information I had received. This is a list of every cast member to appear on The Real World. The ones surrounded in red were part of the LGBT community at the time of their filming (and I'm sure I've probably missed some). Obviously, more have joined the club since filming (most notably Stephen from RW: Seattle and Brooke from RW: Denver - or was she out during filming?). Either way, the ratings have not been terrible for every season that features a gay cast member. In fact, they've produced some of the highest. Just looking at the past seasons, every season with an all straight cast has done well, with the possible exception of Sydney. Whereas seasons with gay themes don't tend to do as well. Even looking at the Real World Awards Bash vote, the top 4 seasons were, Austin, Las Vegas, San Diego & Sydney, which says quite a lot considering only 6/19 season at that time had had an all straight cast.

Cuz I can relate to that. But feminine gays (like Frank or Preston)...they can do without.
Sam was pretty memorable. The fact you don't remember priscilla is the exact reason im waiting til im 21 to apply for the show.
That's probably a good strategy... I'm 19 and a casting call vet... Just did my 3rd... I've tried for San Diego, St. Thomas, and 28... I'm either just not as "interesting" as Priscilla, I'm not good looking enough, or they reeeaally don't want another Scrilla...

I'm not saying it was the native inhabitants or dreary setting (although it probably was) but seasons with British themes tend to suck. Even looking at the Real World Awards Bash vote, London wasn't even mentioned which says quite a lot considering it had an all straight cast.

I think it probably seems like seasons with a gay cast member do poorly right now is because we're hot off of San Diego, which was a mess. It crammed the whole "gay issue" down our throat, which was just annoying. They basically had nothing else to show us. Plus, isn't Real World Chicago one of the highest rated seasons? Aneesa and Chris were both homosexual, and Aneesa and her sexuality featured very prominently. Same can be said for Real World New Orleans and Danny. And the RW Awards were a joke. I can't take anything seriously that lists Austin as being in the top 20 seasons of The Real World, let alone the top season. Just my opinion of course. Granted, maybe the casting directors could benefit from casting less gay cast members as insufferable as Frank or Tyler, or as dull as Derek.

Although I agree if there was to be a London 2 it would most likely bomb. Maybe there isn't anything in the gay thing but I do wonder if Jersey Shore would have done as well with a gay guy.

Emily's bi and Sarah has dated mostly women in the past tho she doesn't do labels.

Well it seems that The Real World will be going overseas for The Real World: Mumbai! Before you get all excited (or disappointed), this is NOT season 28. MTVindia is now launching their own version of the show after their success of Roadies (their version of Road Rules). http://http://mtv.in.com/realworld/ I think that this will be very interesting. It's nice to see that the franchise is expanding and curious to see how well it does. Though they seem to be taking a different approach than the US version and focus more on fame and glamour, whereas the US version is more about diverse individuals with interesting storylines (or so they try to).

Will MTV be marking the 20th Anniversary in anyway? I was hoping for a TV special.
