The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion

Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Well it's close to the Newlywed challenge they had on Battle of the Seasons, so that's a good thing.

Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Tonight's episode looks like Mike Ross' wet dream. Bet he beats his head against the wall knowing all the answers.
Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
I think the next Dome match-up is going to be Mark & Robin vs Tyrie & Jasmine basically due to the preview of Robin crying.
Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Preview for episode 5: "A jealous Camila goes on a drunken rampage; the relationship between Ty and Paula heats up; Abram and Cara Maria continue to struggle with their undefined relationship."
Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Preview for episode 6: "A jealous Camila goes on a drunken rampage; the relationship between Ty and Paula heats up; Abram and Cara Maria continue to struggle with their undefined relationship."
Lol, what about 4 and 5?
Preview for episode 6: "A jealous Camila goes on a drunken rampage; the relationship between Ty and Paula heats up; Abram and Cara Maria continue to struggle with their undefined relationship."
I wonder what the jealously is about...probably Johnny but who else who's left would he be after assuming Jasmine goes home in 4 and Rachel/Aneesa in 5? Not Paula, Robin probably wouldn't have any of that nor would Diem, Cara has Abram which leaves Emily...and if that's the case I don't blame the guy.
Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Actually, that is episode 5, my bad.
Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Actually, that is episode 5, my bad.
So 4 is the one with the Johnny and Rachel tension i guess. I remember someone posting a description about those two. It has me intrigued.
Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
I think next week Rachel & Aneesa win power couple and Tyrie & Jasmine get last place but Rachel decides to send in either Mark & Robin or Johnny & Camilla based off the preview we seen that Johnny is pissed at Rachel for screwing things up.
Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Johnny's little segment on fox news makes me believe he won.
Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Johnny's little segment on fox news makes me believe he won.
100% You could tell he wanted to say it, too. But I'm sure the penalty would be harsh and if he still hasn't received the check, they might not give it to him.
100% You could tell he wanted to say it, too. But I'm sure the penalty would be harsh and if he still hasn't received the check, they might not give it to him.
He basically said through all the challenges he has mastered how to do them politically, so I would assume him saying that means that too. Seems like pretty big talk if he got 2nd or 3rd and would make him look dumb. He didn't even seem to try to tease, he just said he mastered the game and than said wait and see. Ok, Johnny. Which sucks, but kind of figured him/Camila won. I wonder if Diem's shoulder injury played a role at all, or they just had too much history to work together compared to Johnny/Camila.
Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Johnny's little segment on fox news makes me believe he won.
This makes me sad. I'm going to hope they tried to get CT to do the segment and he turned it down so they asked Johnny. But in the 30 seconds he did seem like he was very confident.
Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
The worst thing that could happen this season is....Johnny and Camila winning. I'm annoyed right now for real. They really should stop asking Johnny back, its getting pretty ridiculous now. And Camila seems really confident on twitter too when she talks about the game. Diem has the I dont give a crap attitude which hints that she probably lost and wont come back again. :( LameAF

I didn't take it as a hint he won so much as he seemed to feel a need to justify somehow why he still does the show. He reminded me way too much of Treat Williams in the interview (whom I cannot stand) with how arrogant he comes across generally.

I stopped paying attention when he started explaining why he's still doing the show. I dont think Johnny is generally a arrogant guy, Kenny and Wes are arrogant but Johnny just seems to talk **** about others but doesnt really say he's great but he did say he agreed with Wes saying he played a good game. And he doesnt want to shoot himself in the foot but that can still mean 2nd or 3rd place I guess.
Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Did anyone else like the soulless ginger comment he made at Wes? I thought it was pretty funny.
Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Im more concerned about tonight Episode to see who win's and who goes into the DOME
Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Im more concerned about tonight Episode to see who win's and who goes into the DOME
If I had to guess, Rachel & Aneesa win and send in Mark & Robin, who beat Tyrie & Jasmine
Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
If that's the case i would be surprised becuase Rachel&Mark were paired up the whole way on Duel 2 and Mark walked with Annessa on the final challenge instead of just start running and maybe catching up to Evan&Brad to throw him in would be a backstab move
Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Im more concerned about tonight Episode to see who win's and who goes into the DOME
I would guess tyrie and jas go against paula and dunbar. As far as I'm concerned those are the only 2 non alliance teams left, other than aneesa and rachel but since they go home next week I doubt they go in this week, and I'm also guessing the only reason aneesa and rachel go in next week is because they're last place in the mission rather than voted in. Just my 2 cents, hey molds if I'm right can I be blessed with the good news CT comes in 1st? Hahahaha Edit: to add to my list of guesses here Mark and Robin get power couple which is why sh breaks down
Did anyone else like the soulless ginger comment he made at Wes? I thought it was pretty funny.
**** in the air, nothing compared to being refereed to as a 30 year old loser still living with his mother or calling your friends rapists. I think Wes really drew the line in the sand with those comments, I dont know if you can make up after saying that, and being called a redhead is never as bad as being called a rapist (not saying they are). But it was amusing.

Lol someone lied to molds, when it wasnt Cara/Abe I was like wtf?! Its alright molds we know you're human but the sources are trying to mess with us now, not cool! lol
Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Tyrie lost to 2 girls his challenge days should be over
Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Tyrie lost to 2 girls his challenge days should be over
It was a lose lose for Tyrie if he wins then he finally wins an elimination but its against 2 girls, then if he loses then he lost to two girls. Even though Rachel is a beast
Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Tyrie lost to 2 girls his challenge days should be over
2nd time he's lost to a girl, unfortunately for him he had to go against the most manly of chicks both times, not saying Ev and Rachel are dudes but they do better than the guys on some of the challenges
Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
By 2 girls I [strike]ment[/strike] meant he lost to Rachel & Jasmine since even though it's a team, it's really everyone for themselves. That game and those 2 lasted longer the him. He defeated [strike]Annessa[/strike] Aneesa though.

As for Molds I appreciate the time and effort she put into this so I can't really complain nor do I feel anybody else should be angry at her. I like how she does it on a weekly basis as well. Extremely cool.
Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Next week should be the first interesting episode this season, because based on the elimination order, Aneesa & Rachel go next. So that pretty much tells us one of three things happens: 1. Aneesa & Rachel get last place. 2. Johnny & Camila win again and put them in again, or 3. Mark & Robin win and put Aneesa & Rachel in based on Rachel throwing Mark under the bus this past episode.
Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Next week's sneak peek makes Camilla look like a psycho. And Johnny looks ******** too, Tys like "Johnnys pissed off" at what exactly? And he tells Paula to get Camilla out of his bed, now all of a sudden he's too good to bang her? He didnt seem to mind when he actually had a gf now that he's single he wants his space. Maybe if he didnt lead her on then he wouldnt have a psycho chick acting clingy. I never understood what she saw in him anyways, she seemed like she had a crush on cutthroat, but based off what? Before cutthroat the last time we saw him was on the ruins where he was just meh, and before that he was on the island where he acted like prince charming.

Once there's a scapegoat in the house it's easier to target them than a new couple. I could see any of Paula, Johnny, or CT's teams throwing Rachel/Aneesa in. In my opinion I think it's less likely that Mark throws her in than most people. The only wild card left in this challenge in my opinion are Abram/Cara Maria.

Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
I think this is the 1st challenge that we know the least about. That one shot with Dunbar and Paula during the jumping challenge, I actually thought was Wes/Mandi because they have the same jersey color but was told it was Dustin/heather but Dustin/Heather's jerseys were grey??? Lol even figuring out who wore what shirt was an issue this season. God I wana know who wins it! I'm getting bored of this challenge, dont know who to root for, theres no two distinct sides. theres no bad guy, theres no good guy, even the editing is ****ed up. I swear I'm going to write an angry letter to BMP saying they're purposely trying to make the show suck! lol at least I can look forward to seeing Camilla go nuts next week, which I'm sure is one of the more tame fights of the season but whatever.

BMP finally decided to put some serious effort into protecting their show. It was never that hard to do, but they had a long track record of not appearing to do much about it. As for the editing... BMP lost a lot of their real talent (in my opinion) in recent years to attrition and poor management decisions. In particular, one of the best story editors left several years ago, and since then it seems like it's been story-line by committee. Then there is the "there can never be too much water" producer who probably thinks almost every challenge must give him the chance to tell another Navy seal story. The show has lost its mojo.

The only reason I am paying attention to this season is because I happened to be at a friend's home who had the tv on MTV. I saw an ad for 'Exes' and nearly choked when I saw CT and Diem. Then she told me that CT was already back on Rivals which I went home and stayed up watching the entire night. That's when it hit me how much I miss the older cast and how bored I am with the whole Johnny Evan Kenny Wes Evelyn situation. Maybe they need to try to keep rotating in older members from back in the day to spice it up? I know some are married with kids but it wouldn't hurt to try. And vie seen it thrown around on Twitter as a joke but it might be kind of fun to see what its like if they threw the Jersey Shore kids in the mix. It certainly wouldn't hurt ratings ...

But IMO, one of the areas where BMP went wrong was they created shows with rules that did not allow the viewers to get to know the newer, younger generation of challengers. The "voting" methods hurt the newbies and we do not know the newer challengers of the last 5 years or so which may have helped bring the younger fan base who want to follow their favorites from Real World. I love the Challenge, I've been watching from the very beginning. However, the popularity voting has made the game very predictable and not allowed the younger competitors to have a true chance at the game. Don't get me wrong, I think the rookies should pay their dues, however, the same tired story line of the vets running the show is getting old. I never understood why eliminations were based on voting and not the bottom two automatically going into the dome/faceoff/etc. That would make it a truly level playing field. I suppose you lose the drama associated with making the decision on who goes in that way.

I think Dustin and Heather had a good chance to be a great team, and Leroy and Mike made it to the final last season. Brandon destroyed on cutthroat and so on. Rookies can always prove themselves. And eventually become a Vet, as I think will be the case with Leroy when he's most likely on a Duel 3.

They did two missions, TWO! Big deal they can put honey on each other and walk across a balance beam and make it to the 2nd plank that all but the ****ty teams were capable of doing too. People act like they were coming in first place all time (a quote from Heather being "We were doing so well in this game!"). I'm not saying they suck, but they really didn't do anything in my opinion to constitute being a good team (for the time being).

Sawed off Situation & ***** tits Vinny would get owned even worse.
Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
I think these last two challenges, Rivals and Exes have been great and they remind me of the older challenges! They are a huge improvement over the ones that just came before them. Even if Johnny/Evan/Kenny are on them, they really aren't at the center of the drama. I like to appreciate the good that we have now. I'm pretty sure years down the line people will look back on Rivals and think "the old days were great. I wish we had a show like that now." Anyway about tonight's show with Camilla. We saw the preview of her acting crazy. Was this the night Vinny was talking about on Derrick's podcast where she found out a family member was sick? I wonder how they edit this. Will they just make it look like she was being desperate for Johnny and not put it in context.
