The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion

Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Did you see Aneesa or Rachel competing in the wedding challenge on the beach? Because I saw CT/Diem, Johnny/Camila, Paula/Dunbar, Emily/Ty, and Mark/Robin. And that's next week's challenge.
Then why haven't you posted in the Elimination forum yet? If you've known all week long....
Then why haven't you posted in the Elimination forum yet? If you've known all week long....
Do I need to? It's fairly obvious that Aneesa and Rachel go this week if you have been paying any attention to the trailers and synopses for future episodes.
As much as I enjoy and appreciate your work Molds, why do you always have to be so viscous about it. If someone asks a question that was already answered in a previous post, you condescendingly snap at them. If someone dares to speak out of turn you get an attitude and get mad. I know you basically run this place but jeez you can do it without the attitude
So are you telling me that after having a direct conversation with someone about a particular spoiler, who refuses to believe that spoiler and then asks "why I haven't posted about it yet", that I should apologize for not doing so and then spend a few hours writing a thoughtful and detailed post detailing what I've just told that person? You're right, I have snapped at people before. I don't have patience for laziness. I don't have patience for stupidity. I don't have patience for people who believe that it is my duty as a moderator to post in the spoiler thread every week. I don't see it as being vicious. I see it as being blunt and honest. Don't like it? Say something to me via PM about it. I'm usually more than willing to talk and get back to you fairly quickly; sometimes I may not even realize that I'm being "harsh" or "condescending". Don't want to talk to me? Fine. Say something to Bacchus, who runs this site. It has been stated in this particular thread by people who have analyzed the trailers what teams participate in the wedding dress challenge or what teams have been seen in challenges that have yet to air. There is no doubt that Aneesa and Rachel would be the eliminated team tonight. To see a person doubt what has been discussed and proven by MTV in their trailers is, in my opinion, completely asinine. I'm not getting paid to post spoilers - I put the time and the legwork into getting what I can because it's what I think you (as members) appreciate. Believe it or not, but I have a life. I have **** to do. I don't always have time to post spoilers. If any other member put as much time into this as I did, they could post the spoilers themselves. It doesn't take me 2 minutes to post those. It takes time to go through the trailers and episodes, get the pictures, upload them, and then write the accompanying captions. I put time and effort into it because I know that a lot of the members here enjoy the detailed spoilers. 99% of the members here (yourself included) have expressed enjoyment, gratitude or thanks for what I do. And I absolutely appreciate that, and it's great to know that this isn't falling upon deaf ears. But there is still that 1% that does not because they refuse to believe that their beloved Challenge player could ever lose. I don't have patience for those people - and if you were in my position, I doubt you would either.

Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Does anybody know for certain yet what the racial incident is? Based on the ad with Ty sitting on the sofa and his recent behavior with the ladies, I am wondering if maybe somebody put up a noose trying to say Ty was a dead man because of the love triangle, but it may have been taken as a lynching thing. No evidence of any of this, but it seems a likely scenario. The ad makes it sound as if it was an act not words that was involved.

Molds do you know anything about the Racial comment or action done in the next episode were you going to elaborate on that topic?
Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
I don't know what the racial comment was but I visited Ty's twitter to see if he elaborated on that and basically he said it wasn't that big of deal to which Emily relented quickly by saying that it was a new day in the world and that racism wasn't that common anymore. CT even got into the conversation by telling this girl--who called the entire cats racist--to stop with that ridiculous claim. I am eager to see it for myself and frankly don't think anybody on the show is racist.

Commercial for the next episode says something along the lines of: "The house is rattled by an act so shocking...we can't even show you!" I wonder if this means just for the commercial or for the entire episode itself

Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
I don't know if any of you scrolled on your tv to the March 14th preview but on verizon fios it says "the competition heats up as everyone battles for a spot in the final challenge the remaing challengers must fight head to head after tj reveals that only 4 couples will advance to the final round of the competion" I find this out becuase there are only 5 teams heading into this weeks episode so either its a misprint or a funky twist is coming.

The way TJ broke it down 1st-3rd totaled 290K which I found strange since basically every season since at least Fresh Meat has been a 300K pot (not counting the mini challenge prizes).

They edited in their reactions to him saying what fourth place got for third place.
Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
I'm not positive but my guess is Mark & Robin go to Iceland and they have a final dome elimination there where they lose then it's the final so maybe it means they battle for a spot to go to Iceland.
Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Are there any screenshots of Mark and Robin in a Dome? Maybe the final challenge is a two parter in which the first part takes place in the Dominican Republic with four teams and the last team on that day is automatically eliminated, then the last part takes place in Iceland.
Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
So the last spot was removed due to Vinny/Sarah? So they didn't change anything due to Adam/Nany not being on, considering I heard that the challenge is still considered to have 14 teams, just with one already gone by some people.

Unless MTV or BMP says it, don't believe it.
Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Considered by whom to be 14 teams? Unless MTV or BMP says it, don't believe it.
Cara Maria claimed that the challenge began essentially a team down already with Adam/Nany being removed from the cast.
Cara Maria claimed that the challenge began essentially a team down already with Adam/Nany being removed from the cast.

the challenge is still considered to have 14 teams
Now it make sense. I was confused by the use of the verb "is" rather than "was" which would make sense for a challenge taped last year. My impression was that the author was making a suggestion about future challenges having 28 people (14 couples).
I remembered that in an interview someone asked mark about the challenges and he said that there was one that was pretty insane and that involves a jet and we havent see one that involves that, so maybe that what the screen is about.
Jet = plane Jet =/= boat We've definitely seen that one in the trailers.

Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
I was just watching the after show and when they show you things that are still to come, Tj says "That was the dumbest move he has seen in challenge history." Any ideas?
Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
The dumbest move in challenge history= sending Paula and Dunbar in instead of a strong team like johnny/Camilla. I personally think putting Emily and Ty against johnny and Camilla is a great idea and really wouldn't hurt CT and Diem unless they got last on the next challenge and had to automatically go in which I feel they would stand a great chance. If they don't get last and Em and Ty came back and won they would want revenge on Paula/Dunbar or Mark/Robin first and if Johnny/Camilla came back they may send them in but they could beat both Paula/Dunbar or Mark/Robin in the x battle (which I heard that's what the final elimination was and again it's just my opinion)

Paula has proven to be good at long distance running and Camila has not, despite that Camila does much better in the challenges than Paula does.

Paula has proven to be good at long distance running and Camila has not, despite that Camila does much better in the challenges than Paula does.
They're not thinking about the final they're thinking about a potential pre-final elimination. The final isn't worth thinking about, all places get big money and they know they'd be getting 1st or 2nd which are extremely close together price wise. I think they're more worried about getting to the final in general knowing they're the front runners.

Yes he could send in Johnny and C, but Johnny and C could've send him into the dome for so many times. So I think they made some kind of agreement, not to touch each other cause they are both in power positions. If I were Johnny I would toss CT every single time, but that can punch U right into the face!
Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
I just think although Paula has the endurance, Dunbar doesnt, so they wouldnt be as big as threat as J/C or E/T in the final. And putting them against each other in the dome would have gotten rid of one of them upping CT/D chances of winning. At this point though I wouldnt mind E/T winning either as long as its not J(even though its been said he does). Nothing against him, just ready for someone new. Alright sry, I'm done getting off topic. Whats done is done.
Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
So do we know who wins yet? Apparently people said its johnny?
Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
So do we know who wins yet? Apparently people said its johnny?
There a lot of signs to believe that... Just by the acting of JB in general, the hyping of the others on podcast etc., the editing (JBC looks like the team thats above everyone and theyre the only team that hasnt struggled yet!" townies destroying spoiler"and the trailers...
Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
So do we know who wins yet? Apparently people said its johnny?
Johnny was asked on ******* if he could tell them who won and he said something like "Let's just say I've figured out this game blah blah blah" making it seem like he did win. Edit: Why can't I say Fox News?
Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
Darn that does sound like he won. Gees I really didnt want him to get 4 wins, which was the main reason why I didnt really want Kenny/Wes to win rivals but they deserved the rivals win more than Johnny and too bad Kenny couldnt have won the last one since we may not see him on challenges again.
Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
I'd still place a bet that CT wins the final, I just have a feeling he wins, and they want everyone to feel he doesn't so it's more of a surprise at the end.

He seemed to be really struggling by the end of the wedding challenge. I believe he still smokes, doesn't he? So it may be catching up with him for lung capacity especially since there is height involved in the Iceland challenge...

He ate most that cake, then changed the tire, then had to carry Diem the mile or whatever it was. He seems to have pretty good endurance, now Ive never eaten a cake and then tried to run a cpl miles, but that cant be easy lol.

Depending on the circumstances, extreme cold could more greatly impact the skinnier people for instance. Mark Long as commented in the past he has knee issues so cold+heights could limit him if he makes it that environ.
Re: The Challenge: Battle of the Exes - Spoiler Discussion
So next week Mark & Robin come in last place which we can see from past previews and who they go against it's either Ty & Emily or Johnny & Camilla. I think CT & Diem win the next challenge because I think whoever goes last in that jet engine challenge has the advantage to watch the other teams go and develop a strategy.
