I also want another team challenge these pair challenge are fun but they are already over due, if the next challenge is pair based then I don't know if I can continue watching. I want to see a old school vs new school challenge, the ruins two or another team format. Also a challenge with mostly rookies or people who have never won a challenge.
Are you sure? Katie said in a recent interview that they used to be paid differently depending on who you are but now everybody gets paid the same appearance fee to make it more fair. She was talking about "Cutthroat" and how everybody was paid the same.
There is one fixed payment for veterans and another for rookies. They are paid weekly. Over time, the amounts have been adjusted slightly.
So Melinda said on twitter that she was asked to do Exes and she wanted to but she couldnt get out of school to do it. :( It would have been real interesting to see her with Danny again.
SO i like the idea of a challenge that involves the Jersey Shore people, because they would all get eliminated earl and then hopefully the challenge could just keep the ratings so they could go on for more seasons.
SO i like the idea of a challenge that involves the Jersey Shore people, because they would all get eliminated earl and then hopefully the challenge could just keep the ratings so they could go on for more seasons.
I hope that never happens, I like it that they keep the cast to just the Real World, Road Rules, & Fresh Meat (to be honest, it took me a while to get used to the Fresh Meat). I agree that they need a team challenge again. Or another Battle of the Sexes would be cool, but bring back the score board like they did with the original one, that would shut a few of the regulars up.
SO i like the idea of a challenge that involves the Jersey Shore people, because they would all get eliminated earl and then hopefully the challenge could just keep the ratings so they could go on for more seasons.
I think Sammi and Jwoww would do pretty good in a challenge!
if they did do jersey shore challenges then they would have more people on the jersey shore challenges like angelina unit ryder roger danny jionni and tom and or even the cast members family members like mikes sister and vinnys sister
I think Sammi and Jwoww would do pretty good in a challenge!
Whatever happened to Veronica & Rachel's reality show by BMP? I remember talk about it after the Inferno 2. I think it was about them finding a new bff.
I know this is random but does anyone ever wanted to hear a cast member after they win a challange say "I'm going to Disney World!"
I think Leroy is cool, the only rookie that didn't let the rookie-shizzle affect him. He stands his ground.
I think he's cool, the only rookie that didn't let the rookie-shizzle affect him. He stands his ground.
That's not true at all.
That's not true at all.
elaborate.
elaborate.
I can think of at least 2 other rookies who stood their ground on their first challenge. Sarah on the Gauntlet 1. Derrick on Gauntlet 2. Brittini on The Duel 2. Kimberly on The Duel 2. Svetlana on The Duel, despite the odd call with Beth. Plenty more too if you don't want to define that as "making it to the end" (Namely Kim and Derrick since they didn't). But this probably should be discussed elsewhere...

I've never heard of this rumor/speculation/whatever you wanna call it, but the theme of the show reminded me of Paris Hilton's New BFF and I remember that not getting AMAZING ratings, even though its Paris Hilton.

Sarah like you said, Brittini, Svetlana and then you got Darrell on Gauntlet 1, CT on Inferno 1, Landon on Inferno 2, Wes and Kenny on Fresh Meat, Sarah on the Ruins, Emily on Cutthroat and many others before Leroy.

This is what BMP wrote on their website: "We are looking for smart, sexy, and fun girls who have what it takes to hang out with two of the most notorious girls of reality TV. Please email us at mcast@bunim-murray.com with your name, age, a photo, an mpeg (if you like) and a few reasons why you think you have the skills for the job" This is another article. "Veronica and Rachel may have quit the Challenge shows, but Bunim/Murray isn’t letting them go yet. In fact, they’re getting their own series. There aren’t may details about what the show is actually about, but it’s looking for women who want to be a part. According to the casting notice, “The girls are looking for a new BFF and someone to help them out with their clothing line!” However, their new “best friend” will be with them for less than a week, as “The shoot will last 3-5 days.” The casting notice also says that producers “are looking for smart, sexy, and fun girls who have what it takes to hang out with two of the most notorious girls of reality TV."
Janelle from Key West won her first challenge.
Katie on her first challenge had no problem defending herself. Angela (RR Xtreme) Defended herself against Coral, Rachel, and Veronica on BOS2. There have been plnety of rookies take up for themselves against the vets, it's just that, unlike Leroy, they usually don't last that long.
And Leroy didn't stand his ground, unlike all those other people that were named. Jasmine and Jonna stood their ground. Leroy and Mike followed the crowd and stayed invisible. That was a good game plan but definitely not making any type of statement whatsoever. They fell right into the rookie trap imo. And i think Wes really stood his ground on Fresh Meat, as well as Robin on BOTSexes 2. So many more have proven to actually go head to head with vets unlike Leroy who just followed along.

It's like how Derrick always sticks with the numbers to stay quiet and safe.
Quick question: Just based off the ratings so far, does it appear to anyone that the challenge may be renewed?
Quick question: Just based off the ratings so far, does it appear to anyone that the challenge may be renewed?
Does to me, but I am clearly no expert on such things.
so i was watching Cara Maria's new youtube video and since i remember this coming up when we were predicting the cast of Exes, there are new tests and she talks about it here at about 8:30. She also brings up the challenge schedule at about 10:00. Just thought you'd like to know. So this new season of Bad Girls Club, they are getting into bad physical fights and the girls aren't getting kicked off...So why are the cast members from the challenges getting kicked off so easily? Both shows are from BMP so it shouldn't be different...
I think the difference between RW, RR, & The Challenges is cause they have an opportunity to win money and prizes and people shouldn't be rewarded for hitting. Also, I feel that the point of being confined with your cast members is a challenge in itself. On the RW, the experience is your reward and everyone knows the people they cast together are meant for controversy and drama. It's their job as cast members to endure all the obstacles. That's just my view.

Yeah my guess would be it is just part of a contract that has been used for so long that nobody feels a need to change it. It is a lot easier to say we never thought we'd need to put that in than explain if there were ever a lawsuit why they took that clause out.
Just for folks wondering about this I'm pretty sure the mini-segment airing in the middle of the episode is the "closing credits" segment. It is exactly 30 seconds in length and used to air at the end of the show in prior seasons. Of course in recent years MTV stopped airing this segment entirely and instead replaced it with a 30 second clip of a music video or a promo for another MTV program. However the segment was still there if you watched it On Demand. I've seen old Road Rules seasons running on local TV and they always have that 30 second credit segment at the end. MTV probably moved this segment because they wanted a faster transition into the next show. They are now instead rolling the credits during the promo for next week's episode.
Are they deliberately naming all the episodes after love songs?
Are they deliberately naming all the episodes after love songs?
Seeing as how the overall theme of the show is ex-couples, then yes they probably are.
Are they deliberately naming all the episodes after love songs?
They did the exact same thing for Fresh Meat II (all episodes named after meat) and Rivals (something to do with rivals of some sort). Naming all of this season's episodes after love songs should not be much of a surprise.
