Actually the name the Only Way is Dalston was just the name the press came up with because they ventured that it might be a hipster pisstake of the popular UK reality tv show the Only Way is Essex which MTV says it's not developing.
And the trailer in the link you posted is just a parody made by Vice.
Again, it's not likely to be in London, but no concrete info on what they were actually casting for, it seems.

MTV could definitely be casting for RW in London. They'd never admit it, but it's always a possibility.
As for that casting thing...I got a very parody type vibe while reading it. I'm not a hipster because I'm really into the 90s style?

Anyway, I guess they're pretty unlikely to go to Europe again since Paris and London were both fails, but Sydney and Cancun did pretty well in terms of ratings for international seasons, didn't they?

They did ok, but not nearly as good as the domestic seasons did.
I think London would be the best place to take them with the Olympics going on...but it'd also be extremely expensive to rent out a house during the Olympics, and I think BMP is just too cheap.

You haven't seen any person on the cast and the season doesn't even appear to have started filming yet, how could you possibly conclude they are hipsters?

Based of the Occupy Wall Street casting call and the serious direction, I'm was guessing there are going to be some hipsters casted.

I can't believe BMP would be so foolish. By the time season 27 airs, the "occupy" movement stories will have long been lining cat litter boxes. I've talked to several who have been camping in DC for a while. Overall, they are boring, not particularly bright, and with the exception of one person who swims at the YMCA daily, all smelled.

ROFL. Some will be back out from Mom's basement as soon as the weather warms up, [I]BUT[/I] it would appear to me that anybody who sits around blaming everybody else for everything else instead of having at least some token aspiration MTV can advertise and then ignore during editing is not necessarily Real World material.

I've seen some tweets about that for a month but they all originate from a single person, so I don't know. I have also see some recently that say it is going to be Hollywood. The Pittsburgh rumor seems to have been the result of another show MTV may have been filming. At this point, until I see a picture of a cast member being filmed, I am skeptical of everything. MTV is supposed to be filming some Bachelor-type show so STT seems more likely a destination for that in my book, but who knows.

So while we can't rule out St. Thomas, there has been no valid evidence thus far that would allow us to conclude with authority that it is in fact being filmed there - just hearsay.
However, we'll keep looking. :D
MTV has a ton of shows in production right now so I think some people are jumping to the conclusion that a MTV camera crew=Real World. ( [SIZE=1]I personally am looking forward to their reality series about a HS football team that hasn't won a game in 5 years.)
