I don't remember that situation, but Ashley from DC is the only one to spell her name that way. The one from B2NO is spelled Ashlee.
Understood and yeah I completely forgot about Zach's Ashley.

Well thats encouraging. I just hope he's not super feminine or obvious like Frank.
Um, I just stumbled upon a forum website kinda like this one. It said where RW 27 would be filmed and even gave a link to the house, it's pretty nice. I read most of the boars. On page 2 it said the house was only 75% complete, then they stopped building, but then on page 7 someone posted that they walked by the house and they mentioned it was completely built.
Not sure if molds (SHE seems to be really well known around here) knows about this or not, but how to I send HER a message?)

Let me guess...you're talking about the Pittsburgh board.
Yeah, I am. The OP of the board claimed his girlfriend works for the casting crew for MTV...what do you think of it?
I've already posted my thoughts on it in a previous post, but here we go again:
The guy who started that thread (who supposedly has a girlfriend who works for MTV, ha) also started a thread about two years ago that RW would be coming to Pittsburgh. He is also the same person who updated the Real World Wikipedia page. Most people saw the "Real World is having a casting call in Pittsburgh!" and skipped over the words "having a casting call". There is absolutely no substantiated evidence that the Real World is going to Pittsburgh.

Boo, I figured I could have found something haha. What about the information you got from the person who claimed their friend posted on Facebook saying they were leaving for the Real World? Did you figure out if he was an actual cast member?

I realize you're a new member, but you're making a lot of (incorrect) assumptions.
I, personally, do not believe any cast member should be outed before their season even starts filming. Even if I had gotten information from that member (which I haven't), none of it would have been released until I had visual confirmation that that person was indeed filming a season of the Real World. How would I know otherwise? If I immediately reported all of the personal messages I get telling me that they know someone on the next season of the Real World, I'd be laughed off this site.
This serves as a note to all new members who may be coming here to out cast members on this site: please, either keep information to yourself until there is VISUAL CONFIRMATION of that person filming, or send me a personal message with information so that I can confirm it for myself.
In my defense:
1 - I did ask how to message you, so if I had known none of this would even be on the boards, but instead you just answered my questions on the board itself.
2 - How was I supposed to know if she messaged you info on the guy or not?
3 - I was just wondering if you figured if that guy was a cast member or not.
I'm not trying to out cast members, or confirm any RW houses or anything. I had questions/"assumptions" that I wanted clarification on.
I wasn't sure if you knew about that board or not, so I wanted to let you know about it. Happens you already knew about it. You can't blame me for not reading every post on every board to know you already knew.

(Camila Voice) Ahhh, I love you Molds13 <3
Actually, the Wikipedia editor and the poster from the Pittsburgh board aren't the same person or even the same gender.
Here's what happened:
Challenge veteran Derrick Kosinski reported in his podcast that he was "hearing" that Real World was going to Pittsburgh, but that he "could be wrong."
A Kansas City-area user from a Real World discussion (can't recall the user name or site) heard Derrick's podcast, then edited Wikipedia's main Real World article to indicate that the next Real World season would be in Pittsburgh.
Prompted by the Kansas City user's edits, Wikipedia user Nightscream (male from New Jersey) created the "Real World: Pittsburgh" article on Wikipedia, but mistakenly cited irrelevant sources (news articles about casting calls). Nightscream later admitted his mistake and deleted the article.
User Blackbeauty212 on the Pittsburgh City-Data forum (female from Pittsburgh) wrote that she "heard it from my GF who works at Cast Crew for MTV" that Real World was coming to Pittsburgh. Almost 2 years earlier she had written another post indicating that MTV was "considering" Pittsburgh as a location, but only in the later post did she claim that the selection was determined.
User kjtocool on the Pittsburgh City-Data forum (Karl Schneider, proprietor of the movie-focused worldofkj.com site) wrote, "I have a pretty solid source that said they're coming [to Pittsburgh]," but wouldn't divulge his source.
In sum, we have three people who say they "heard" from inside connections that the next Real World location is Pittsburgh. All three of the claims can be taken with a grain of salt, but hey, they're more than nothing (albeit not much more).

Yeah Molds response was a little harsh...
Yeah Molds response was a little harsh...
Since when have you ever known me to sugarcoat anything? You might see it as harsh; I see it as honest.
I'm a big fan of evidence. Most people are not going to know for sure that a person is filming the next season of the Real World until there is evidence to back it up. Since the season hasn't started yet, most people don't have any evidence, and the ones that do have signed paperwork saying they won't supply any.
There's some ******* on Twitter who's been blowing up the search feeds saying he's going to be a cast member on the next season of the Real World. Is he? 99% sure he isn't. Do I know for sure? No, and I won't for a few weeks.
You can come to me with all of the information that you want regarding a person. I will tell you that it must remain silent until there is photographic evidence linking that person to this season of the Real World. That is why the cast spotting threads and social networking have become so important in identifying our cast. I am the same way with the challenges.
I'm done answering questions about the new season. No, I do not know where it's going to be. I haven't put any legwork into attempting to find out as I'm busy with things in my real life that are more important. No, I don't know who's in the cast yet. Will we find all of this out before the season airs? ****, it will probably be found out by the time they're even done filming.
Anyways...
So... Call it a (strong) hunch, but the location of RW27 I think has been under our noses this entire time. They've had zeeero problem with repeat cities in the past and trust me when I say that they wouldn't blink twice at coming back to this particular city.
Wild speculation, I could very well be wrong but... I feel confident.
There has been some disguised crew recruitment activity online, and there has been a much better effort overall to concealing general preparations (but maybe not the cast) for the next RW. Bravo, BMP. Glad you guys finally began to listen.

Which is? Don't bull**** us, ****. Spit it out already.

I guess quoting is the message board equivalent to "RT"-ing. They've been recruiting incognito for sometime, but that's textbook in reality pre-production.
Good luck investigators! ;)
I've tried nosing around the production stuff but all I could find were some weekend shoots in Austin/Dallas and they were hardly concrete; and some things in Hollywood but, again, no smoking gun proof it was RW.
I am new to this whole thing so don't fault me on this, but isn't it the 20th anniversary of The Real World? Would it be too much to assume that they would go back to New York for the 3rd time? Would MTV do anything like this for an anniversary season? I just thought this would be the "obvious under our nose" option.

Either this season or next season could be considered the 20th anniversary.
Technically they'd be going back to NY for the fourth time if you include Brooklyn.
Based on the last three locations, BMP appears to be going to cities where ratings were high. That is why Chicago and New York are high on my list for next season.
Just to be a pain, I will argue that they are going to do it in Hollywood where nobody would notice things like production jobs being sought or TV casts floating about town. Seemed like with Brooklyn, there was a lot of local knowledge floating about well before the season began to film.
Although the original had **** poor ratings, maybe London? With the Olympics coming up and the lack of general buzz may very well be another international season? Also MTV has been doing casting in East London and had an open casting for hipsters that seemed vaguely real worldy:
""I'm getting in touch with you as I'm casting for an international MTV documentary series about young creative people living, working and hanging out in East London, fulfilling their creative dreams. We will be bringing together a group of diversely talented individuals to create a collective and a brand – ultimately a factory of creativity to harness talent.
"This is about celebrating youth culture, through self-expression – and the hub is East London. It's about subverting people's expectations of the scene here – and showing how raw talent is emerging. During the show, mentors and experiences will help nurture innovative flair and give you the chance to showcase your unique ideas.
"We want unique characters with something to say who are up for challenging and developing themselves! Fancy being part of this experience?
"We'll be meeting people Monday evening in Shoreditch for casting. Let me know if you, or anyone you know, would be interested in coming along. Age 18-25(ish).

Interesting find, but the cast has been chosen for RW 27 already.
they were casting in London back in October actually...that's when the article about the casting call is from
Before the article starts, there's an update under the picture:

Not Real World.
EDIT: Actually, I have no idea what the **** is going on with this, but it really doesn't go along with the type of people RW was looking for for season 27. London would be a great location given the summer Olympics, but I think it'd be a bit too expensive for their liking.
