Links to Sectionals songs for next week. Looks like New Directions is doing a Jackson medley:
Troubletones - Survivor/I Will Survive (Destiny's Child/Gloria Gaynor)
New Directions - Man In The Mirror (Michael Jackson)
Jenna Ushkowitz, Harry Shum Jr, Chris Colfer - ABC (Jackson 5)
Darren Criss, Kevin McHale, Dianna Agron - Control (Janet Jackson)
The other song is "We are Young" by fun. which is apparently sung by Lea Michele and Cory Monteith. Haven't been able to find that one yet.
EDIT: Chord Overstreet is singing "Red Solo Cup" by Toby Keith as well.
I'm guessing we might see Alex from Glee Project in the troubletones maybe because he killed I will Survive in the TGP. His best performance ever. I hate him but it was undeniably awesome.
Saw one site that was more logical informed speculation than spoiler that puts Ricky Martin in a future episode as a Spanish teacher based off some tweet he sent.
Looks like Damien is going to get a bit more screentime during the Christmas ep:
DAMIAN McGINTY: RORY’S SOMBER CHRISTMAS ON ‘GLEE’
If you thought watching Rory get hit in the face was a dodgeball was tough to watch, wait until Glee’s Christmas episode.
Earlier this week I hopped on the phone with Glee‘s Damian McGinty to chat about the show and his work with Your Dollar Our Future. And during our chat, the Glee Project co-winner told me a bit about the upcoming Christmas episode that will find Rory experiencing a bout of homesickness from his native Ireland. “It’s just all about him growing up at the minute,” McGinty says. “He’s very young compared to everyone — he’s such a kid. So it’s going to be a whole journey for him.”
Surely it hasn’t been easy making the transition to McKinley High, but the actor says newbie syndrome is something lots of kids and teenagers can empathize with. He hopes that Rory’s “sad” Christmas episode storyline further drives home the message. “It’s probably going to relate to a lot of people.”
Read an excerpt from a Chord Overstreet interview. Apaprently they are working on a synchonized swimming number for this season. Certainly not something I ever anticipated, but I am oddly intrigued by the prospects of how they pull it off unless they bring in professional swimmers.
Considering all the ****** covers of that song I have heard, they did very well. I read a few weeks back that Sue is supposed to take up helping the homeless after losing the election so I guess that is what the storyline here is about.
God that Christmas episode might have been the most boring Glee episode ever.
I really liked parts of it but the black and white stuff went on way too long and had way too much Kurt falsetto dialogue for me. I ducked out for most of that part.
The second episode back is supposed to be a Michael Jackson tribute episode and Sam Larson from the Glee Project is supposed to come in as Puck's cousin sometime in the next two episodes.
I saw somewhere (can't remember where) that NeNe Leakes (from Real Housewives?) is going to be a guest star. She looks like she's going to be some sort of coach. There was a picture of her and Sam staring at each other.
EDIT: Here. She's going to be a swim coach.
EDIT 2: From the promo looks like Sam and Mercedes are doing some sort of song from Grease and Artie is doing some sort of Rolling Stones song.
EDIT 3: They're definitely doing "Summer Nights".
EDIT 4: Artie must be doing Jumpin' Jack Flash / Moves Like Jagger here too.
The Michael Jackson Songlist per Glee Fans Live: spoilers
Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’ – Blaine
Bad – New Directions & Warblers
I Just Can’t Stop Loving You – Finn & Rachel
Smooth Criminal – Santana & Sebastian
Never Can Say Goodbye – Quinn
In The Closet – Brittany & Santana
We Are The World – New Directions & Warblers
Black And White – Puck
Ghost / Monster – New Directions
Beat It / Billy Jean – Warblers
The Way You Make Me Feel – Kurt
Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough – Artie
It will be cool to see Warblers and ND performing together but that is a huge list for one episode so some may not make it to air or will be very short.
Was reading Ask Ausiello this morning...
Question: Any idea how Glee is going to explain Blaine’s absence while Darren Criss is away on Broadway? Is he going to miss any episodes or are they trying to shoot around his schedule? —Sam
Ausiello: Believe it or not he’ll only be sitting out one episode, so it’s unlikely any explanation will be needed. Speaking of which, look what I snapped on my way to work this morning! (It's a picture of a NYC lightboard with Criss' name on it)
Question: Anything on the second half of Glee‘s season? — Jodi
Ausiello: Based on the fact that the show is casting a bunch of middle-aged night school students, something tells me one of the kids is about to start matriculating after hours.
Also, songs for the Yes/No episode:
"The First Time I Ever Saw Your Face" - Roberta Flack (Will)

I figured something like that would happen after the Ryan Murphy interview where he seemed to take a shot at Chris Colfer for tweeting that he found out he had been fired from the show by twitter. That seemed to be when Ryan gave up on a spin-off. I'm sure it will be something like there will be a local/community college choir group they all get involved in to make sure that Rachel still gets all the prime solo performances every episode.
From the upcoming episode.
-The episode opens with Sam and Mercedes taking lead on “Summer Lovin’” from Grease; Santana and Kurt, naturally, both take on the catty Rizzo portions.
-Helen Mirren voices the internal monologue of one of the characters and it’s AH-MAZING.
-Emma sings “Marry Me Will” with back-up assistance from Beiste and Sue; it’s the weirdest girl group EVER.
-NeNe Leakes from The Real Housewives of Atlanta makes her first appearance as the swim team coach Roz Washington. Her initial introduction to Sam is laugh-out -loud hilarious.
-There’s a gratuitous Chord Overstreet bathing suit moment. You’re welcome.
-Finn contemplates joining the army which brings up a secret from his past and the return of his mom and Burt Hummel.
-The boys of New Directions’ take on Maroon 5′s “Moves Like Jagger.”
-Will is in a tank top. You’re welcome.
-You see Emma in her wedding dress complete with bridesmaids… who are somewhat of a surprise.
-Becky decides that she’s going to make Artie her boyfriend.
-Rachel, Mercedes, Santana, and Tina perform Roberta Flack’s “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face,” and one of them reveals that she may in fact be in love with someone who’s not her current significant other.
-Emma’s horrible ginger-loving parents show back up.
-Emma gives an emotional, heart-wrenching speech to Will about their future together.
-Rachel sings a cover of David Guetta’s and Usher’s “Without You” to Finn.
-The entire cast is involved in a climactic version of Rihanna’s “We Found Love” that is both exhilarating, romantic, and emotional. Oh, and most of the cast is in -bathing suits. Okay, it’s a synchronized-swimming number. And I may have cried during it.
-The final minutes have a HUGE, GIANT, PLOT TWIST. I can’t reveal it but, Gleeks, you will be stunned.
I bet you Tina is still in love with Artie, I want them back together. I also think Emma's gunna say no, i don't know why, but I just have a gut feeling and I hope i'm wrong.

If you're talking about the spoiler that says one of the girl admits she's still in love with someone who isn't their significant other, I have my money on it being Mercedes still loving Sam. They're totally setting that up, and her boyfriend is basically a non-factor in the show anyways.

Just to be a nay-sayer, I'll bet that it is Rachel still in love with Puck. Logic dictates you are correct, but I did read a spoiler that said Lea Michelle recently got very upset and threw her script when she first read it and called up other cast members for their opinions on a plot twist.
More info on next week's episode:
1. How many times is the question popped? At least three people make the grand gesture. THREE! Only one gets an answer. And that, kids, is how you spell cliff-hanger.
2. Oh, and someone comes back to school already hitched. Surprise! The epiphany happened at Taco Bell and the knot was tied over the holiday break, elopement-style.
3. Why, it could be Grease lightnin'! No, the glee club isn't mounting a spring production of the deliciously raunchy musical (darn!) but this week's episode does kick off with a special, shot-by-shot remake of the oh-so-swoony "Summer Lovin'" -- and you get only one guess as to which couple might be reminiscing about what happened over those months. Of course, Kurt and Santana split the role of Rizzo.
4. The week's whiteboard assignment? Romance Emma. Mr. Schue will enlist the kids to help him romance the socks off Emma. (It's Glee -- get over it, people.) Fortunately, these kids do the most awesome job ever. (If you've the scoured the Internet for the playlist, you already know it's going to sound good, top to bottom.) Ultimately though, only one of the ideas -- Sam's wet and wild one -- will get the job done.
5. Mercedes kinda sorta totally makes her mind up about Sam and Shane. How? She'll be singing one of the best love songs and the winning guy's face just pops into her head -- not that she's prepared to do anything about it immediately.
6. Here's something Helen Mirren gets to say as the inner voice of [SPOILER!]: "Lay off, haters. OK, get realz." Right?! OK, OK, here's one more: "No Chang do -- I'm no rice queen." Oh, to be a fly on the wall when Mirren hit the recording studio...
7. Speaking of Chang: Artie + Mike = Gold. First, they gave us "PYT," and now they get to move like Jagger. Swoon. We can't wait to see them reunited again in the Michael Jackson episode. A certain Warbler is going to give them something to, ahem, scream about.
8. Coach Sue spends the entire episode being supportive. You read that right. It's like she's still got the Christmas spirit running through her veins or something. And get this: All of her advice is about how to handle relationships. Just call her McKinley's new guidance counselor! The question is: How long can it last?
9. Finn gets some deeply troubling information from his mom. It's going to turn his world upside down and propel him to make a life-changing decision. The good news? Finn and his mom will break your heart into a million pieces and that's always welcome.
10. Someone's got a ****** that's lower than the other. And it's really going to weird out guest-star NeNe Leakes Coach Roz. Also a no-no? Pee in the pool.
