I may be the only person who thinks this, but I really didn't think Laurel's hair looked that bad. Made her look a bit older and more refined. And she looked really muscular (toned) in the aftershow too.
I didn't think it looked bad either. I actually really liked the blonde hair on her. I think Laurel is amazingly beautiful, but she's such a *****. I really hope Mike/Leroy and CT/Adam try and take out either Johnny/Tyler or Kenny/Wes, but it'd almost be easier for Mike/Leroy to go with the other two since they'd have a better shot in the finals than against CT/Adam.
Only one helmet per pair had a camera on it - the jumper's. If the camera really hindered a person's swimming, I would have made the stronger swimmer the jumper with the camera, like how Wes and Kenny had it. I don't know if I believe that swimming with your head out of the water is faster than swimming with good form (head tucked down) even if you had a camera. Also, these people seem to think that the harder you slap the water, the faster you are moving.
I honestly wasn't paying that much attention, and I'm not going to pretend I know a ton about swimming. All I'm saying is that it seemed like the helmet (with or without a camera) would make it harder to swim with your head down. Besides, even if Wes did put his head down, who was he going to beat? Himself?

Ideally, they should be sliding their hands in, fingertips first, at a slight angle. When basic freestyle swimming is done properly, the hands should never come above the head.

I think it's really awesome that all the teams (except Mike/Leroy, but Leroy won one) still in the game have won at least one challenge. And I love how Mike/Leroy are coasting through because the guys were trying to get rid of CT. I'm going to guess that next time, Johnny/Tyler and Kenny/Wes aren't even going to attempt to take out CT/Adam and will try to throw them in with Mike/Leroy. As for girls...I really hope Jenny/Mandi go in. I know they won the last time, but they're the only team that hasn't gone in and every other team already has. I'm going to be really sad if it's Ev/Paula vs. Jonna/Jasmine.
I agree the D-Day plan is incredibly stupid. When was the last time a plan to throw a challenge has ever been successful? Battle of the Sexes 2? Not even Queen Veronica could successfully get rid of Katie by throwing missions...what makes JEK think that they're so special?

I'm still confused.......if Nehemiah knew about the plan all along, what exactly was he upset about?
I'm still confused.......if Nehemiah knew about the plan all along, what exactly was he upset about?
Probably that he agreed to do the plan on the second guy's elimination, not the third, and that he specifically told Evan "I'm trying my best today" and Evan didn't say "Well I'm not."
I'm still confused.......if Nehemiah knew about the plan all along, what exactly was he upset about?
He wanted to send rookies in first, which I think makes more sense, I guess when the guys talked about it Nehemiah agreed but said only after the rookies have gone in with him and they just took that as ok he agrees cool, lets go throw the mission.

How did Nehemiah not understand that?

I would want to send in the rookies first too but I don't know how they would pull that off, it would be too complicated. I guess thats what Wes was talking about in the podcast, Nehemiah was telling him that he didnt know if he wanted to do it but didnt have a different plan to get rid of CT.
I know you aren't Nehemiah. He did say that he was going to try his best on the mission so that made me think he didn't want to do it anymore, but who knows apparently him and Evan werent speaking to each other, even though that's dumb on a challenge and makes them sound like they're boyfriend/girlfriend.

He handled it just like how Evan handled the deal he had with Wes on the Duel.
Haha, WOW. I actually thought this episode was awesome. First off, anyone else actually like the thought of CT & Laurel being together? At first, I thought that little interaction they had in that club was kind of lame but in this episode, I thought their scenes were kind of genuine & cute. That probably was just the editing though. Still, from lack of other hook-ups this season, I thought they were good. Much better than him & Mandi. Which, by the way, she blew up the situation way more than she needed too. Granted she was drunk, it still was incredibly ridiculous the way she reacted. If she really didn't care, a simple "whatever" would have sufficed. Geez. Second, I loved, loved, LOVED the challenge they had to do this week. It looked so sweet. Honestly, if I were old enough and in shape, I think I would totally do one of these challenges. Anyway, I was humored by the fact that Kenny & Wes actually won a challenge. I was not humored by the whole Evan and Nehemiah thing. Again, maybe it was the editing, but I actually felt really bad for Nehemiah, especially in the jungle when Evan couldn't even pull his own weight. So much for talking big and not being able to back it up. On the other half, CT always continues to amaze me. The way he kept pushing Adam and pulling his own weight was pretty sweet. Definitely a well deserved win. Overall, I give this episode a 8.5/10. :)
There were only so many chances they had to pull off "D-Day" and they had to take every opportunity they got, especially with the high chance of CT winning every mission. How did Nehemiah not understand that?
This is my take on the matter. When Nehemiah agreed to the D Day Plan, it was for that particular mission, the hammock one. So yes, he did agree, but not before the "jumping, swinging, challenge". If Evan was sure that Nehemiah was still on board, he could have talked to him about it previously, saying, hey, we are trying this again. But he didn't, so I think that after D Day plan failed once, Nehemiah thought that they wouldn't be trying again. Thoughts?

I just feel kind of bad for both Laurel and CT sometimes because they've done things in the past that gave them bad reputations and are isolated a lot. I don't excuse what they said/did in the past, but just seeing them have a connection there was really sweet. It was probably clever editing/embellishing on the part of Laurel&CT though.
Why does everyone feel bad for Nehemiah? Sure Evan could've told him before the challenge he was throwing it that day but Nehemiah knew about it all along. And then after the challenge he was like 'make a move, make a move'. Like come on, if you're actually so ****** do everyone (yourself, most competitors, production and MTV) a favor and punch him. He'll go home either way, atleast he didn't act like a ***** for no reason that way and it would've been great for the ratings and there for great for BMP/MTV. But instead he starts throwing life jackets around and calls everyone a ***** and on the aftershow he challenges Evan to a boxing match. Come on if you wanted to do something you should've done it, you didn't so suck it up and shut up. And on the CT/Laurel thing, I actually think it was real. I even felt bad for Laurel when everyone was telling Mandi to do something about it and she made that sloppy seconds comment and called Laurel a ***** for no reason.
And on the CT/Laurel thing, I actually think it was real. Especially when she was yelling things in her room. I didn't feel bad for Laurel at all. She was actually taking a high road by not responding to the provocation and looked good for it.
Why does everyone feel bad for Nehemiah? He was trying hard but Evan was holding him back. I'm not exactly saying Nehemiah would have won because CT & Adam were pretty beast, but he would've at least had a better chance if his partner wasn't so out of shape.
Mike and Leroy would've had a really good chance at beating C.T. / Adam at this jungle.
If Evan hadn't just sat like a fat **** in the water and actually tried, would Johnny & Tyler have received the worst time? Would've been interesting to see those two against CT & Adam in that Jungle. I don't know how long Adam was hung up for when he got his end of the pole stuck but it definitely seemed like it was long enough to give a more cohesive, in-shape team an opening to pass them.
It was Evan that said he could beat him up or the Miz asked him, I think he did tell Evan or else he wouldn't have been so ****** and he said he told him he was going to try his best. And Evan said we're throwing it so don't tell Nehemiah. I think if Nehemiah did tell Evan that he didn't want to do it then Evan shouldn't have thrown it, but if Nehemiah said nothing then he shouldn't be angry. I couldn't tell on the podcast if he said anything to Evan or not, he said he was telling Wes he didn't feel comfortable but Wes isn't his team mate, and I guess Wes would tell him what do you want to do instead and he probably didn't know, so there wasn't much he could do to stop Evan.
On another note.... how many "best friends" does Wes really have? Wes on FM2 "Danny you know you're my best friend" Wes on Rivals "Nehemiah, you could have said something, you're my best friend, I would save you" Something to that extent... but how come all of his friends seem to get the short end of the stick?

If they did get last, they probably would've gone against Leroy and Michael and sent them home simply because I don't think Michael could do that Jungle (very well). Johnny & Tyler (despite their slight mission slip-up) and CT & Adam are the top 2 male teams in my book as of now.
This is coming from the same guy that calls himself "the well-oiled machine" before he completely bombed on FM2 ;)
lol, good point.

Wes says he'd have protected Nehemiah had he known he was against the plan because Nehemiah's his "best friend". I remember Danny was his best friend as well, and he got thrown into the Exile during FM2. Being called Wes' best friend is a death sentence in these challenges.

Apparently he did tell Wes and Evan that he didn't want to do it because he had learned that Evan was wanting to go home anyway. So he didn't feel comfortable with throwing himself into the jungle with someone who wants to leave altogether.
On another note.... how many "best friends" does Wes really have? Brad is retired and I don't know if Ev and him are that close but she called him her best friend and biggest ally in FM2 and I dont think Ev and Wes would ever F eachother over, she even said she would go in against Laure/Kenny if it came down to either him or her mainly because she had no faith in Mandi. Danny is a total mess on challenges so there's not a lot of hope for him kind of like the Paula situation with JEK, but Danny did say he would jump in front of a bus for Wes so that's saying a lot considering Johnny says none of his friends are worth 75K. And Nehemiah apparently asked him what he should do and Wes said he would go with the plan, seriously though if you don't want to do the plan then you need to figure something out with Evan because Evan wants to throw it, so he needed to think of a better plan but didn't, you cant really just go I dont agree with it and if they ask do you have a better idea, you say no.
