Agree completely. Nice post..Adam acts like has has CT's back(which he doesn't at all) and CT is ruining his social game. I just rewatched episode 3. Dude, if you were with JEK in a non team challenge, you would be 4th in the pecking order, and be out of finals anyway. So explain to me the advantage of that. Or you can have the best athlete on your team and try to fight for first. I choose the 2nd. It's not like you dominant the challenges typically. So quit complaining, things are going great for you guys
I've been thinking that exact thing. I share your sentiments. I want Adam to stop complaining and realize this!
I loved that Emilee called Adam out on his stupid strategy in Katie's webcast. It starts at 40:45. Camilla even agreed with her and Katie didn't really give him time to explain himself. Katie also read a comment/question from a viewer that proved Emilee's point. He's getting it from all sides! No wonder he has a huge chip on his shoulder.
Adam doesn't need time to explain himself because his social game this challenge is whack and no explanation will suffice. The only way having Kenny, Evan, and Johnny as friends would be of benefit to him would be if they were all on the same team.
Like I've said before, Kenny, Evan, and Johnny make up 1/2 of three different teams... there are only three spots for male teams in the finals. Do the math Stanford graduate! Doesn't matter if CT was your partner or not, they're gonna do whatever they can to get rid of every other team besides their own teams to ensure they're all in the finals... and like I said, that would mean their three teams taking up the three spots in the final. That spells tough rocks for everybody else. He should be doing everything in his power to sabotage those three teams to prevent that from happening, not helping them by doing things like letting Wes & Kenny go last on challenges to see what the other people are doing wrong and to know what times they have to beat.
If Wes was putting names down on an order sheet, do you think Kenny would step in and go "yo put Adam last, he's my boy"? Not hardly. They'd be putting CT & Adam first every chance they got, as would Johnny/Tyler and Evan/Nehemiah if they were in that same position of power.

Preach it, sista'! :new_russian:
On the podcast, he said that he wanted to take one of them out at the end right before the final mission. He wanted to vote their way to ensure his stay then at the last minute get one of them out so he could be in the finals.

On Katie's live video thing, link on her twitter, Adam explained the i have been carrying him thing and Katie just basically was like ummmm, and changed subject like I don't think so Adam. Emilee hung out with CT the other night she said so she probably is biased towards CT, but no one seemed to be buying it. For what's required so far, they both gave in about equal effort. Hard to argue for either of them really so far

yeah...um, I just came from watching it, but I never ones hear him say he carried CT. Maybe he said it in another podcast or blog, but all I heard him say is he held his own and he was the best jumper out of everyone on the challenge.

He mentioned the blog post where he said it and was going into detail to defend himself for saying that(he got a lot of backlash it appears) and Katie just basically cut him off and changed subject.. You could tell Camilla/Emilee were not on his side and didn't understand his alliance with JEK so I think Katie was stuck in the middle.
Adam's explanation doesn't match up with reality and what he knew was going on. He knew from the beginning that the JEK alliance was going to throw CT in elimination rounds from the very beginning if they had the chance. He was right there in the room with them when they were trying not to sound discouraged about not being able to do so for the first male elimination because CT's team won safety and that they'd just have to stick to the plan and be patient with it.
How does that justify Adam keeping them happy to keep himself in the game? It doesn't. Just another example of his manipulation and revision of history and facts. Wow, so you "planned" on taking one of them out right at the end, still leaves you having to go up against two strong teams in a final and nothing is guaranteed in those things, or in elimination rounds. He is sticking his neck out to protect players who are on the three teams that are his team's biggest competition and three teams who are making it pretty obvious that they are gunning to take his very team out of the competition.
People can say the reason CT never wins is because he doesn't know how to play the game but if you ask me, it's the stupid *** people he gets teamed up with that don't know how to play the game. On Inferno 1, Coral had some sort of like immunity from even being nominated for the Inferno from people on her team... Miz ********* the challenge before the final so he wouldn't win the Life Shield because Coral would expect him to use it on her. Inferno 2, stupid *** Abram took his swing vote to the girls side for the last Inferno that would've guaranteed the Good Guys team having weak Shavonda running the final with them. Gauntlet 3, none of the other guys on his team wanted to go against Eric and take him out even though they knew he'd be dead weight in the final.
Now on this challenge, he has his own teammate basically conspiring with the enemy (knowingly or not) to set up his own demise later on down the line because eventually the voting numbers are going to be stacked so unfavorably against CT/Adam later on in the show that they'll be guarantees to get sent in if they don't win. This is the best time in the game to swing people to vote in members of the JEK alliance into elimination and with Wes/Kenny doing so poorly, you could get two teams in that alliance going against each other and be guaranteed to get rid of one of them.
Seriously, no matter what kind of slant Adam tries to put on things with his fancy Stanford vocabulary, he is playing a stupid game. I think the word "chicken wing" was a very generous way for CT to describe him last episode because if I were to compare Adam to anything pertaining to poultry, it'd be a chicken ****.

Did he want to go against Eric? If so, why didnt he step up and take Eric out? The other reasons are valid but this one isnt. He gets the same blame the other guys did because none of them wanted to go up against Eric in fear of losing to him in one of the weight based gauntlets.

When did CT have a chance go against Eric? When Evan went in, Evan didn't want to go against Eric and the vets didn't want to lose Evan. When Adam went in, Eric was immune to go in because the rookies protected him with that rule.
Frank knew CT would take Eric into the Gauntlet if he had the chance, he said as much during the Rookies deliberation because the other people were tossing around the idea of throwing in CT and Frank pointed out why it would be bad... because keeping Eric on the Veterans team for the final would really hurt the Veteran team. That is why they picked Evan instead.
You have to remember that the other team picked the person from the opposite team to throw into the Gauntlet as well as another person to save from going in, but they couldn't protect the same person twice in a row. They could've just gone back and forth between protecting Eric and CT each time to ensure they never went against each other.
Do Adam and CT get along now? I'm just curious because Adam has tweeted CT a couple times recently and the most recent one was him responding to CT's tweet about his birthday bash on Friday and Adam saying he wanted to go because of a Miss Universe Bikini Pagaent. I mean usually if you hate someone you don't express an interest in attending their birthday bash lol. (even if it was just because of bikini clad girls).
Adam also tweeted during yesterday episode about them not voting them in when they had the numbers and said you'll find out next episode or on the reunion. And also saying he was going to demand an apology. Maybe he finally saw CT was right lol.
Guess we'll just have to wait for the season to run its course and the reunion show to air. CT didn't know half the extent to which Adam talked behind his back on their Real World season til he actually watched the show himself and on Gauntlet 3, he had no idea Adam tried to throw the last challenge before the final because Adam had always told him he was over getting a beer poured on his head and that he didn't hold a grudge.
Now this season, he is supposed to be CT's partner and ally in the game but he's in basically every shot with JEK when they're scheming or talking about CT and he's seen telling them that he'd trade CT as his partner, only to go back a couple days later and tell CT he enjoyed being his partner. Still a lot of wishy-washy two-faced stuff coming from him and CT doesn't play that crap with people on the show or in his real life, so he may feel like he can be civil with Adam after doing this show but that he can't trust him to truly be a friend when he continues the same pattern of behavior behind his back for almost 9 years now.

I cannot wait for this reunion.
Adam can say all he wants he is over it all with CT, but it appears he is not. He mentions on podcast about being pummeled by him, he clearly resents him still. I am not saying he should be over it it is not for me to decide when it's time to move on but it's pretty obvious he still isn't over it or he is just scared of him possibly doing it again. He said on his first blog that he was never comfortable around him and waited for him to snap on him at any moment.
Him thinking Kenny has his back is the funniest thing with him, than he references how if they lose he knows they are going in. So how do they have your back again? I hope they end the show on a civil note, Adam just tweeted he wanted to go to his bday party with the models there or something, so i am guessing they ended the challenge
on civil terms.
Ct doesn't post much/if anything as far as what he thinks of the episodes on twitter, i wish he did or blogged but i understand he is a private guy. His perspective about JEk and everything would be very cool.
I think Adam's more sensitive than the average guy, and that's why he holds grudges and gossips all the time and is more concerned with JEK hating CT more than they like him than he is with his own teammate!
Did anybody else notice that Katie and Robin are being really rude to Adam on their webcast ? They ask questions and when he tries to answer, they always cut him off and don’t care about what he says at all. I don’t understand why they invite him if they’re going to ignore him 90% of the time.

That's because his microphone doesn't work good and he chips outs when he talks. You can't even understand what the hell he's saying on the webcast. It's frustrating. LOL
Adam and CT should become friends. Like how Laurel and Cara Maria became friends, regardless of their history and hung out outside of the show.
They can't be friends. They are just too diffrent.
Maybe Adam is more pissed off that CT beat him up in front of his long time crush, Jenn. He stated on episode 5 that he has had a crush on Jenn for 3 years.

Well that's his own fault.
It's hard to be friends with someone who has declared on television he wants to kill you, smash your head, and eat it.
CT has apologized, but yeah, that would make it hard to be friends with someone who said that.
I do hope they become friends though. I think CT's "are we buddies yet" quest is his own way of asking Adam for forgiveness. It's hard to imagine CT from the older challenges doing something like that.
Hard to believe Adam is the oldest person on this challenge after you watch last night's episode & the way he was gushing over Jenn. The conversation he had the next day with the guys about what happened seemed like something you'd hear amongst 15 year olds.
"You get to touch her ***** dude?"
"YEAH!"
"Wow just the bra or the real thing!"
"Real thing man! Went up under the bra!"
He was all proud & then they show Jenn calling him creepy and weird lol
I can't feel bad for Adam cause he's basically doing the same thing to CT.
...except Adam never beat the living daylights out of Jenn.
