Please lets not start this debate once again. All I was saying is that I wouldn't want to team with someone who punched me in the face, weather I deserved it or not.
Not even for 50000 dollars?
TBH I really don't think I could. Adam was humiliated by CT. I would not be able to swallow my pride and team with him.
I like this kid a lot, but things like he did to CT sucks. I remember how he screwed Katie on Gauntlet 3 when he helped to Paula. (If I'm right - Katie and Adam was very good friends)
TBH I really don't think I could. Adam was humiliated by CT.
People keep saying Adam was humiliated and emasculated...but was he really? It's humiliating.
TBH I really don't think I could. Adam was humiliated by CT. I would not be able to swallow my pride and team with him.
If he had that much pride, he should have just went to CT off camera and threw down with him. Adam is scared of CT and he wanted to be a tough guy for the camera and caught CT in a bad time in his life and got his *** whooped. I mean I really think Adam is a shady character and CT has picked up on it since the beginning and thats why they always have a problem with each other. Adam is already talking behind CT's back on this challenge. smh
Unless you know him personally, your opinion of him is likely to be flawed. I have no idea how he is away from the show, just talking about how he is in the game.

I like how he told CT he wasn't mad and didn't hold a grudge over their fight in the first episode and is complaining like a butt hurt clown about having to be paired up with CT and how he'd trade having him for a partner in the next episode even though they've been performing very well.
I don't get why it's such a big deal that he said that?? He is not bffs with CT and I wouldn't want to be in Adam's situation either, I would trade CT for anyone of the people who have the numbers. Don't you realize how stressful it would be if you know that you must always win or you're going in. JEK don't have to worry about that. I didn't see it as Adam saying oh I hate him so I don't want to be his partner to me it looked like he was saying I don't like the position I am in because we're partners.
People keep saying Adam was humiliated and emasculated...but was he really? I mean, does anyone really think less of him just because he got hit by CT?
I think Adam's just sick of hearing about it.
He was even a Communications major....clearly didn't pay off very well.

CT had every right to be angry cause I can pretty much guarantee if it was adam getting into a fight at that bar CT would have had his back right or wrong. the duel beat down he deserved that one to, why is he in CT's business he shouldnt have went to diem in the first place, like i said before adam has female tendencies. Hes the guy in highschool that is socially awkward and cant really fit in because he tries to hard to be the cool guy.

As for the duel 2, from what I remember Diem asked him if he knew anything and he said "if I hear your name come up, I'll tell you" or something like that, and it was Katie who told Diem. I think Diem has a little blame in that fight, I am not sure why the whole house cared who CT slept with when he's single.
Well basically here is a rundown of CT & Adam's relationship on their season and how things went downhill between them. On their season, anytime stuff popped off with the girls, CT always had Adam's back on stuff because he felt the girls complained way too much about little stuff that's bound to happen when you have 7 people living together. There was also an incident where Adam was seeing a girl for awhile and basically maxed his credit cards out on purchases for her and she wasn't even really into him; basically hung out with him because he'd pay for her. CT called her out on taking advantage of Adam and using him and after that, she was history. All the while stuff like this was going on and CT thought he and Adam were close, Adam would go behind his back and join in the CT bashing sessions with the girl roommates and Simon whenever CT wasn't around. CT had done nothing to Adam at that point to warrant Adam talking about him behind his back the way he did, and eventually CT caught onto it and didn't trust Adam, so he didn't hang around him as much. Then one night at a club, there was a drunk guy that was harassing CT by calling him names, throwing stuff at him, and was insulting a girl he was dancing with. CT brushed it off initially but the guy kept it up and eventually called CT outside to fight, so CT went out. When they get outside, the guy continued to talk smack and spit at CT and continuously came up to him and nudge him with his shoulder. He was doing little stuff like that to get under CT's skin but then tried to play the "I'm not out here to fight" card when he was the one doing all the physical provoking. CT finally had enough of it and punched the guy in the face a few times. After it was over, Adam scolded CT about how he should've just walked away, CT said something to Adam about how he's always acting like a two-faced *****, then Adam said he would totally back CT up if he were getting into a fight over something important. That's when CT went off on him & told him not to play that act because he knew Adam was being a phony friend to him the entire time and that he really didn't have CT's back. This incident where CT called Adam out for not having his back & being a fake friend was shown during the video intro on the first episode of this challenge.

So Adam has been humilliated in national tv not one, not twice but three times but everthing was his own fault so suddenly Ct said he is sorry and Adam has to forget the beatdown and the humilliation just because he is the beast Ct

Adam is a ***** made clown, plain and simple. His feminine, gossipy behavior has been the catalyst for 2 of their 3 altercations and he has only himself to blame for CT not liking him. Like I've stated before, CT was cool with him and considered him a good friend up until he caught on that Adam was talking negatively about him behind his back nonstop when CT had been nothing but nice to him up until that point. It's going on right now on this show too as everybody's seen. CT said on Derrick's podcast and on this show that he's over stuff from the past and his brother's death taught him to move on from stuff like that. He's done that with Adam on this show and has been a great teammate to him and nothing but cooperative and encouraging... acting in a manner towards him that would've been unimaginable 3 years ago when he was at where he was at in his life. And as we saw last week, Adam is still the gossipy, backstabbing little coward he's always been and will once again play the innocent victim card when his mouth digs his own grave. It was hilarious to listen to Adam try and make himself sound innocent for the beating he took on the Duel 2 when he was told repeatedly to not touch CT even after it looked like CT was going to just leave the room completely. He talked smack about him within earshot to his ex-girlfriend, repeatedly put his hands on him despite being warned not to, and smashes a beer can in his face and wants to make CT out to be the bad guy for punching him in the face for it? Apparently CT didn't hit him hard enough or enough times because clearly it didn't knock any sense into Adam about throwing stones from a glass house.

It seems like CT has moved on, and I warmly applaud that. I'm wondering if you are still carrying the old CT baggage? It does sound like it just a bit.
^ I'm thinking the same thing too. Even though I think Adam talks too much, I do think his opinions about CT make sense. (1) Most of the men on the show WOULD be better partners for Adam than CT. Adam has a target on his back precisely because of CT, and because of CT, he now has to win EVERY SINGLE MISSION, which is a lot of pressure. And let's be honest -- CT has never won a challenge. If you compare CT with people like Evan and Kenny, who apparently have some magical formula for winning these things, the odds don't look good. (2) It's easy for CT to "move on" from the fight because he WON the fight. Also, for CT, that fight wasn't that personal because he was just lashing out. But Adam, on the other hand, probably felt personally targeted and humiliated...it's pretty obvious from the Duel 2 aftershows and subsequent interviews that Adam was a lot more affected by the fight than CT was. I don't blame Adam. I'd probably still hold a grudge too.
You know, I, as a person who was humiliated beyond my wildest dreams, can empathize with Adam. To be ******* out and made look like a complete coward in front of the whole world to laugh at you is something no man would ever wish to happen to him. I, in the eyes of God, wish for him to take CT on the side and talk with him for three solid hours, with no one there, like real men do it. ADAM and CT not= ENEMIES! ADAM and CT=BROTHERS!

They all want CT gone so that means they want Adam gone too.
Yeah rather than crying to his friends about who is partner is, he should spend his time trying to make the best of the situation and improve his situation as much as possible. Fraternizing with some of the chicks & spending more time hanging out with Mike/Leroy and Brandon/Ty would be a better idea if you ask me. Break it down like this... there are only 3 spots in the finals for men... JEK = three people on three different teams, they're gonna do whatever they can to make sure they get to the finals. That means zero spots for anybody else. Should've been an easy sales pitch to get other teams to work in collusion against JEK rather than with them if you ask me.

Adam needs to stop whining about CT and start doing whatever he can to get to the end so that He and Ct would actually WIN a challenge for once. It's really long overdue for someone other than JEK to start playing the game.
I agree that Adam is not playing the game very intelligently by complaining about his partner to JEK, but I understand it. Adam was already friends with Kenny & crew, so it makes sense he would vent to his friends about his situation. But I will reserve my judgment until I see more episodes and see what kind of strategic moves CT/Adam make, if any. I am hoping for a CT-Leroy alliance.
I was as serious as ever, I swear on my mother! Please, the fact that you questioned my legitimacy caught me off guard. But, yes, I was dead******* serious, my sister or brother!
That's good and all but Adam needs to understand that he and CT are a packaged deal and crying to JEK won't help him. They all want CT gone so that means they want Adam gone too.
At this point in the show, we really don't know if the conversations between JEK and Adam are gameplay by either side as part of a deliberate strategy. Clearly, it is in JEK's interest to weaken the CT/Adam pairing. And, it is in CT and Adam's interest to have JEK think they are having an effect on Adam. It might be wise to withhold judgment until the editors give us more to work with.
Johnny told Adam not to let CT steamroll him on every decision they have to make as a team. Clearly, CT has made it known on this challenge that he wants to make sure JEK are not at the end and JEK know this too. Adam is friends with JEK & Johnny is basically telling him to not let CT control the team's efforts of getting rid of JEK. Adam would rather make his friends happy than CT so I'm sure he'll do whatever he can to ensure as many members of the JEK as possible can get to the end when it is clearly not in his team's best interest. That's why I said earlier that I wouldn't have put it past him to have thrown an elimination round for some money on the side to ensure that CT wouldn't win and that JEK would have good odds of bringing home most of the money from the final. Adam's the kind of person who will do anything to seek approval from people he thinks are popular.
