I'm not certain if I fully comprehend what vested interest Jonna has here. If she were friends with the boondoggled GF I'd understand but otherwise, what does she care?
Also, I was wondering if this is what Chet & Mark were talking about on the podcast with them. Anyone know?
Hm what are you talking about?

Seeing that Jonna has been a reality pro since her early teens, my guess is that her interest is being involved in as much drama as she can to secure an invite back without ruffling alliance feathers.
Camilla is an easy and IMO calculated target. She's still fairly new so does not have strong ties with castmembers, and already has a target on her back due to her big mouth and allegedly shtupping one of the guys in the power alliance, who has a girlfriend. Jonna would have never stepped to Evelyn or Jenn the way she randomly did to Camilla because she knows they hold power positions in this game. Going after Camilla doesn't hurt her in the game yet gets catsmembers and viewers talking about her. Jasmine already has her bsc card to get an invite back if The Challenge is not canceled. Jonna found hers via Camilla. And perhaps that unfortunate wig.

That makes sense, I suppose.
Wait, that thing's a wig?? I actually kinda dig the fro, not so sure I feel quite the same way if it's a wig.
Oh, and as I asked in my previous post, do you know if this was the situation Chet was talking about on the podcast?
Did anyone see the sneak peek for episode 5? I remember thinking she'd lost weight before, but in that clip it's evident. I think she looks better.
But Gosh, that footage is exactly why I don't love Jonna. She's a good competitor and seems like she can be really nice, and I like her for a while. But then they show a clip of that cold, sassy, "I'm better than you", "you're behaving like a child" attitude and it reminds me of how rude she can be.
I didn't know she was on the show rehab party at the hard rock hotel o_O

Exactly! I feel like after that poor first impression I got from her on Ep. 2, I've been trying to like her...and then she pulls out that attitude that is completely off-putting.
I don't get the hate, although she does have attitude at times (name a girl on this show that doesn't) she just kicked some *** on that Jungle.
Gotta give it to her! That was my favorite Jungle of the season thus far!!

Respect! lol Props to her for her Jungle performance! Even though Sarah got her team to the puzzle first Jonna still stayed calm and solved it before two of the smarter girls in the house. Although Sarah has this rep as being really smart and I'm not exactly sure why...all that sticks with me is the Ruins final where she couldn't solve the puzzle Susie did, and now this Jungle puzzle.

Agreed! Sarah is way too cocky for her performance record, the only good thing being her time on the Ruins. I hate how she thinks she deserves to avoid elimination, she's proven to be a mediocre competitor.
I also love how Sarah was talking crap right in front of Jonna and Jonna is like "Uh huh" and then walks away, and then beats her in the Jungle!! I seriously was like "**** yeah!" Go Jonna!
I find Jonna very interesting. Her and Jasmine both make great television. And it's good to see rookie girls not letting people walk all over them.
Coolest moment on last night's episode? Jonna calling out cocky Sarah for saying she could beat her.
If Jonna is great at puzzles and a good athlete then if the challenges continue, I could see her kicking butt on her own without depending on a partner.

I could see her coming back for plently of challenges since she was originally drafted for FM2, but couldn't go, and came back for Rivals (I'm being optimistic that the series will continue). She's a good competitor and I like the girls that actually compete rather than rely on alliances(coughJenn&Sarahcough), so hopefully she actually competes rather than becoming like the other girls.

Ya as a Sarah fan I found myself shaking my head at her comments, its good to be confident but not cocky and arrogant. Gotta like Jonna for sticking up for herself and being able to perform when it counted.
I love how CT was encouraging Jonna and Jasmine right before the Jungle and how he was the only one (other than Ev/Cara Maria) who cheered when they won while everyone else just stood there stunned. I love Jonna& Jasmine <3
She did good last night but she wasn't amazing. Okay, she beat Sarah at one type of puzzle. That's nice and all but judging by the comments I was reading about the elimination round I was expecting a curb stomp. Sarah still ended up digging out her partner first. Hell, it looked as if Sarah dug out Jasmine as well. Jonna didn't look as if she did too well in the physical portion. I'm sure Sarah is good at puzzles and it could just so happen that last night's puzzle wasn't in her field of expertise. Other than the first challenge Jonna has still be rather lackluster. She put one foot in the hammock and flipped over while Sarah got herself to the second one. I still think Sarah has proven more than this chick.

b...but Jonna's gorgeous.

Jonna did the puzzle by herself! so she was amazing. Sarah was with Katelynn that supposedly is great at puzzles too, plus she is so cocky (for no reason) and not likeable

The box Katelynn was in was dug up as well. Sarah just barely beat her at digging the door open. But (most) people are happy because Sarah is so cocky and the self-described smartest-girl puzzle-queen. Jonna did well enough on the physical portion, but she kicked some serious *** on the mental portion against the "smartest girls". Sarah and Kate have done far less this challenge. Sarah hasn't done anything but lose miserably, and throw-up and quit (during the Cutthroat finale) for her last 3 Challenges, yet she still acts like a top competitor. Sarah IS good at puzzles, but Jonna is smart, much smarter than what people give her credit for, and possibly smarter than Sarah.
I think that's why people are so happy about Jonna. She's the complete underdog and she's showing signs of being an awesome competitor. Time will tell how she does, but for now, I'm on Team Jonna!!

I don't agree with this at all. Both teams have seemed almost equally relevant thus far. JJ won the mission that Sarah and Kate did okay in. Second mission I don't remember what SK did but I do remember JJ DQing. Third mission SK beat their opponents albeit because of a DQ but JJ got absolutely smoked by Theresa and Camila, the same people they were talking trash to. In the hammock challenge Jonna didn't even look like she lasted more than a second on the hammocks while Sarah got to the second/third hammock by herself. I would hardly say that Sarah and Kate have done FAR less this challenge. JJ would not have been around this episode had Theresa and Camila not have been perceived as such as threat. They would've been thrown into the Jungle against Laurel and CM which would've resulted in a massacre. I really don't buy all this Jonna is amazing hype just because she beat Sarah in one particular puzzle after she lost to her in a physical digging contest.

I don't think much about that hammock thing. Just looked like one of those moments where one mistake loses it for you. That could happen to any of them and all of them said that was the hardest. Jonna going down like that so fast doesn't mean she's weak overall as a player. And Sarah making it a little further doesn't mean anything to me.
Everyone is giving them all too much credit. That puzzle was extremely easy and can be done in about twenty moves. Based off that, it isn't fair to consider anyone good or bad at puzzles. It was a towers of hanoi puzzle and was only made up of four layers. Lets be honest, no one on this challenge (other than Michael) is a braniac, so these puzzles can't be that hard or the jungles and missions would last for days.

A puzzle is entirely different when you NEED to solve it or you go home. It's a completely different environment when you're put into the situation like an elimination. Your mind is nowhere near where it usually is and your emotions are going ten times as fast as they should be.
And with the whole Sarah vs. Jonna debate, I'll take Jonna anyday. Sarah has never gained my respect as a good competitor, at least Jonna has something on her resume, even if it is ten years old.

You mean Sarah going toe to toe with four guys in a final practically on her own doesn't prove anything?
