You mean Sarah going toe to toe with four guys in a final practically on her own doesn't prove anything?
She didn't solve the puzzle on the Ruins finale either, [strike]kellyane[/strike] Kelly Anne did more than her in my opinion. I would take [strike]kellyane[/strike] Kelly Anne and Jonna over Aarah everyday since Sarah has done 4 challenges but just did ok on the Ruins.
she didn't solved the puzzle on the ruins finale either, kellyane did more than her in my opinion. I would take kellyane and Jonna over sarah everyday since sarah have done 4 challenges but just did good on the ruins.
Kellyanne even made a comment about Sarahs puzzle skills not being as good as she makes them out to be. I used to watch Endurance every single week when I was young and Jonna was A LITTLE BAD *** back then, not even exaggerating. So I'd take her over Sarah, even though I do loooove me some Sarah Rice.
Everyone is giving them all too much credit. That puzzle was extremely easy and can be done in about twenty moves. Based off that, it isn't fair to consider anyone good or bad at puzzles. It was a towers of hanoi puzzle and was only made up of four layers. Lets be honest, no one on this challenge (other than Michael) is a braniac, so these puzzles can't be that hard or the jungles and missions would last for days.
Now how's that being honest? lol
I don't get why people are comparing a kids show (Endurance) to the challenges. Something you did as a kid might have SOME effect on your performance on these shows but to say not to vote her in cus she won some show when she was much younger is bizarre.
I don't get why people are comparing a kids show (Endurance) to the challenges.
Because we want to.
Lets be honest, no one on this challenge (other than Michael) is a braniac
Sorry to disagree, but I think a lot of these people on these challenges would be considered "smart". A lot have college degrees, and although that isn't a direct indicator of intelligence, you have to be pretty smart and motivated to at least graduate. And just because Mike Mike looks like a nerd and talks about subjects like cloning corn to genetically improve it (even though it can cause the corn to become genetically massacred, for lack of better words), even though he knows jack **** about farming (my dad is a farmer so I'm forced to know all about this kind of stuff), does not make him a "brainiac". I'm sorry, but I am not a nerd, as in the typical "nerd". I don't act or dress nerdy, and I certainly don't bore people to death with long speeches about my theories. I am highly intelligent, and I've beaten my supposed genius friends at both an IQ test and on the SATs without even studying. I don't think looks or conversations are a direct indication of intelligence. I think many people on the Challenges would surprise you, that's my main point. Don't judge a book by its cover.
Because we want to.
Ooo, good mature answer. I meant the two are barely related. Winning that show doesn't mean she's any good on these challenges. Against other kids her age and size vs beasts like Ev, Laurel, CM - it's just not comparable.
Because we want to.
We've been invaded by middle school answers. This does not bode well for the maturity level and credibility of the forum.

Yeah, she did have to figure out how to make alliances and maybe solve some puzzles, but every elimination was rock-paper-scisssors, which is totally based on chance, as was their "final mission."

Everyone thinks that Paula isn't very smart because of some of the moves she has played in this game, meanwhile she was valedictorian of her business college at Quinnipiac University in Connecticut.

Thats one thing thats always bothered me about Mike, he seems to go out of his way to prove to everyone how smart or knowledgeable he is. In that way, he is as cocky as anyone else in the house.

Everyone else thinks he's super smart and brilliant at puzzles, and he lets them.

I haven't seen him as cocky though.
Have we been bad mouthing Endurance? No worries, Youssarian to the rescue! :D I think part of the reason people bring up Endurance is because she didn't just win - she dominated. She was basically the whole reason her team won. She solved all the puzzles, made smart strategic decisions, and carried her weight. No other team in five other seasons of Endurance managed to win as many missions as her team did. And the missions actually weren't as childish or kiddy as some people make them out to be. They're definitely not as extreme as the Challenges, but required a lot of ingenuity, intelligence, and strength, at least for teenagers. In addition, she never even went to the Temple of Fate (the elimination round consisting of rock-paper-scissors). There's an element to the game called a Samadhi, where the winner of a specific mission can handicap another team in the next mission. Blue team received the Samadhi once, and despite having a handicap, due to Jonna's puzzle-solving ability, were able to smash the competition in that mission and overcome the handicap. Jonna is basically the reason why her team was the most successful in Endurance history. So even though it was a while ago (but not much - only 8 or 9 years), you'd figure she still has experience in reality competitions and doing challenges and things like that. So I do think it gave her an advantage in Rivals. /rant over

Jonna is a **** good competitor witha cute personality. I loved seeing her & Jasmine kick Sarah's *** home.
Jonna kind of creeps me out. With all the different hairstyles, eye colors, and eyelash lengths she's had in her total of like 14 episodes of MTV television, she may as well change her name to Mrs. Potato Head. And those tattoos of of hers are a disaster...she looks like somebody who was drawn on with magic markers after passing out at a party and is still trying to wash the marks away 4 days later.

People (especially people on TV) do that ALL the time. She had to go back to her fro on this challenge because she had to cut her weave out when they were stuck without showers for 12 hours after a challenge, and the T on her chest IS marker.
The way she was treating Jasmine last episode is a quality I despise in girls like her. That condescending "Okay Jasmine, I'll LET you talk. Go ahead." Ugh, I would've straight punched her. She annoys the **** out of me. Also, I know it's out of her control but **** at the fro. For someone that is so obsessed with her looks, it cracks me up that she's stuck with that hair on TV for most of the season. I think natural hair is beautiful but it just does not fit her well and is SO different from the weaves she gets.

She walks around in whatever's comfortable most of the time and it shows with the fro; how she dresses around the house; etc. I'm sure she cares when she goes out in public, but not when she knows people are only gonna see her on tv.

Out of all the girls in the house, I think she and Evelyn are the ones that least worry about their appearance. I mean who else would actually go on national tv with that afro on their head in 2011? Yeah, she had no choice, but she could have done something else with the hair if she wanted to. But even with that atrocious thing on her head, she still looks like a Godess. *faints from the sight of beauty*

Yeah, Jonna was being b****y, but she's usually pretty nice to Jasmine. And Camila is an idiot so don't even bring her up. I'm glad Jonna told her off. And I agree with the other users, Jonna could really care less about her looks it seems like.

But Jasmine was calmly talking to Jonna about how Jenn was being condescending to Jas and putting the two of them down and then Jonna all of a sudden calls her negative and dramatic when she was just confiding in her and talking to her in the condescending way I described before. It was super *****y. And you all seem so sure that "obviously Jonna doesn't care about her looks" from an edited TV show haha. My opinion is that she does but just because she has an afro because her weaves were destroyed and she literally has no other choice doesn't mean she's not conceited. ;) And yes, I realize this is ridiculous to even discuss since I don't know these people but I guess that's what this websites for!

I watched Jonna's and Jasmine's fight back and Jasmine is the one who keeps interrupting. I wouldn't take their fight too seriously though because obviously there was alcohol involved. She was nice to Jasmine the rest of the episode. And your logic is that she doesn't look or dress like she cares about her looks, but she still does and she's conceited? Not really following you there... But anyway, I'm not trying to change your mind because it seems like you don't like her. I like her and I'm glad she sent Sarah's cocky *** home!

I don't think I was clear because I didn't mean that at all haha. People were saying "well clearly she doesn't care because she kept the afro" but that was her only option besides going home since her weaves were destroyed. I'm more basing my opinion from Cancun with the cockyness and the condescending behavior with Jasmine. I don't even know how I got into this discussion because I don't really care about either of them hahah so I'll stop now! :)
Anyone else surprised by Jonna's lack of interaction with any of the men on this season? From watching her in Cancun, not only was she very flirtatious, but she was mostly only friends with the guys on her season. She is definitely someone that doesn't get much air time, besides with her little fights with Jasmine. I am also surprised none of the guys have gravitated towards her. Opinions?
Not surprised. A fluffy black sheep has curled up on her head and died.
:sarcastic_hand: I think it is also because there were a lot of vets on this season who don't do that random hooking up anymore, probably would've been different if there were a lot of rookies.
Maybe the guys aren't really feelin' the fro ;)
