sorry if this has been discussed, but does anyone know if they will be having a "group job" this season?and what it is?
I heard they were doing stuff with SD Pride...
Why would they be doing stuff with SD pride (I mean if they were that seems like a one off project of the mai job). Plus didn't they just arrive?
I heard they were doing stuff with SD Pride...
That makes sense this is definitely going to be a colourful season
That makes sense this is definitely going to be a colourful season
Hope not. That would be too controversial, especially if there are members of the cast with conservative values. I know I wouldn't work for it. Nothing against others that would, it just wouldn't be comfortable working for something against my values. To each his own, I guess.

They would be forced to work together and become more open minded about the world . And personally I would LOVE to watch them argue about prehistoric conservative views.

I think forcing the cast to deal with that by making it their job would be great! I feel like one of the cast members will have something against the LGBT community because from what I have heard there seems to be a lot of questionable sexualities within the cast.

I don't know when exactly "conservative" evolved into such a negative term, because actually you can be a pure conservative and still support the SD pride. My grandma is extremely conservative (financially, etc), but she would without a doubt have no problem to support SD pride or something like that.
It wouldn't surprise me, didn't the Brooklyn season also do some work for LGBT?
I respectfully disagree.
Agree with Cryssy, I disagree with that assessment.
I respectfully disagree.

Agree with Cryssy, I disagree with that assessment.
I identify myself as a conservative, particularly on issues of fiscal and national security policy, but am fully supportive of both issues of choice and gender identity as demonstrated by my financial support of Planned Parenthood, The NY LGTB center, and Log Cabin (Gay) Republicans. While you may disagree with OrangeStar, I'm afraid I'll have to stand as a present contradiction to your disagreement.

They support them as people but disagree with their decision. May be unheard of to you, but it's normal here.

They're just normally the ones that aren't extreme when it comes to their beliefs either way, you know what I mean?

You can't just say "well this is how people are/aren't." Not all conservative people are anti-LGBT or find that because they call themselves "conservative" they cannot support the group. How I know conservative is obviously not how you know conservative because there are so many types of conservative people. Another example, my mom is very conservative when it comes to government spending and, like V1Man, financial issues, but is open to people from every walk of life. She is a Christian and a republican but is very liberal in her way of thinking. I don't understand how someone can disagree with LGBT people's lifestyle, but still be friends with them. You contradict yourself when you say "they support them as people but disagree with their decision." That is not supporting them, that is condemning them. I am from a small little town in "conservative" Indiana and I deal with their ignorance everyday. It's difficult enough for me and I am a straight man... I cannot imagine the difficulty for the LGBT. They have a GSA at my high school, multiple LGBT groups within my college, we have Indianapolis Pride; so, as a community, there is progress in open mind of "conservative" residents.... not everyone who is conservative has to disagree with LGBT.

I misunderstood V1man. I didn't mean that I disagreed with the statement about conservative people supporting LBGT. I disagreed with what I understood as an implication of calling most conservative people who don't outwardly stand for LGBT homophobic. I could have misunderstood the statement though. I will back my statement however.... When someone is in jail.... the people who comes to visit them don't necessarily agree with their decisions (which got them there), but they support them as people by not shunning them and visiting them, etc. It's how I see it at least. To me, it's the same thing. I don't mean to cause an argument or anything.
( awkward silence ) ...So whats the cast been up to lately? any word on the other 3 women? lets all just chill guys :)
This is from this morning. There's another person 1/2 hidden behind the baseball hat guy. This 'baseball hat' guy I see all the time, so he's probably going to be in a lot of the show.
Ah, it's whatever.
How profound.
found another one! really good up close vid of some of the cast: YouTube - ‪Cast Spotting: The Real World San Diego: La Jolla at Hodad's in Ocean Beach California‬‏
and another one: (looks like ashley didnt mind speaking her mind) YouTube - ‪Cast Spotting: The Real World San Diego: cast member's at Hodad's in Ocean Beach‬‏
and another one: (looks like ashley didnt mind speaking her mind)
I don't blame her for asking the person to stop or Zach for covering his face. The person just kept circling them. Very awkward. Thanks for finding and posting the vids though!

Thanks for finding and posting the vids though!
I'm curious, at what point does the crew intervene (or have a right to intervene) with locals filming/photographing the cast? Does that depend on the venue at which filming is going on? My preliminary assumption would be that the venue has authority in removing people from the premises.
The girl in the picture behind Frank is the one talking at the table, so I'm pretty sure shes in the cast. There's no need to cut her out of the picture
The girl talking in the first video seems to be our 19 yr old and I think she looks a bit Filipino or some kind of asian/pacific islander decent.
So pretty much (correct me if I'm wrong) we have all the chicks for the season

The asian chick next to frank and video.
Sam
The blond chick from the video.
The girl that looks like Eva Mendez and the other one that has frizzy hair like Beyonce. *There's a pic of them in this thread but I'm lazy to backtracked :meh:
I know there's five, it's quite obvious that one of them does not belong. But who?
I think one of the girls in that picture (On page 25) is the "Asian chick". I think the one on the right.
omg finally another Asian person on the Real World! It was about damn time.
