Could it have to do with the fact that her parents came here illegally? I know some friends who had to deal with some issues involving going to college and not getting aid therefore minimizing the options for schooling due to their parents actions to come to the state illegally. The Dream Act is pretty big deal that's going on I believe. So her story could focus around that since shes transferring to Davis? I might just be grabbing at straws lol

As far as I know, having parents that came here and stayed illegally, then had you in the state they immigrated to, technically makes you illegal as well, no?

No because you were born here in the states but if one is underage and your parents are subjected to deportation then you have to leave with them if no guardian presents themselves. Also it was her grandparents.

I don't think that is correct unless the rules have changed. I don't think they can deport a US citizen. The parents get to choose. If they choose to leave the child behind then it goes into foster care if there is no other legal guardian. The anchor baby left behind would let the parents move to the front of the immigration visa line once they were eligible to return to the US legally, or at least that is what I heard, so it shortens their wait by years.
Umm, maybe in today's U.S. that's "legal", but that would still constitute you as an illegal if you were born here and your parents are here without legal citizenship, too. You mention her grandparents as the illegals... well unless her parents have legal citizenship, she is illegal as well. Per the Constitution they aren't naturalized citizens of the U.S. because of illegal immigration, thus making it illegal from the grandparents on unless their children become citizens.

Sooo....someone is announcing via Fb/Twitter/etc that they will be appearing and filming on the real world. And what do you know.....they're ********! The lovely twist in casting that MTV is ever so known for. My question is why is this person publicly announcing their airing in the season?!? Isn't that like a big MTV production No-no? Also this person is claiming in posts that they will begin filming in a few weeks (end of August), however, hasn't the season already began as of june/july?!? Odd on so many levels, however, this person is from an area I am familiar with and it seems as though it is legit. He posted updates all through casting and auditions. As you'll see this kid is a total crazy *** rockstar and it is obvious why MTV would want to throw him up in the mix....
Someone please let me know what you think about this and if it is possible that they will be bringing this cast member in late in the game like this. I mean past seasons have had 8 people and as far as I know season 26 is currently 7 cast members.

Judging by the cast bios (that we know of), I haven't been as excited for a season in a long time.
Also, I don't understand why a cast has to rip each other apart now for it to be interesting. Some of the best old school seasons had a minimum of that, and when it happens now it's kind of pathetic (ex, Nany/Naomi vs Cooke). I guess we have to compete with Jersey Shore...
Maybe if they are boring, they will actually show more of their back-stories. The 2 highest rated recent seasons--Vegas and Brooklyn--had people with decent/entertaining past stories.
We really don't know anything juicy about the new season. There was an indication that some of the information thought to be true, isn't--so there isn't a lot to discuss about them. No real indication of in-house relationships or dramas or dark secrets reduce us to "She's pretty. Reminds me of so and so". While we have lots of cast pictures, we have no awesome tidbits to chew on. Can't say I am enthused for them but I will give them a shot.
