that was one of the worst challenges ever. It's laughable how they didn't even bother to explain how they determined who came in last.
hm... YEP! I completely agree. The whole feel was different. What happened to the competition in this show?
Change your channel and stop giving it ratings.
I watch it because everything else on television is garbage. /waiting for Big Brother.
But these shows usually entertain me... this episode was just.... bad
I actually was quite happy Ty made that comment to Laurel. *shrugs*
I must've missed that, i was flip flopping between 2 shows lol
Anyway, great episode. I do hope the missions and eliminations get better than this. Looking forward to the canoe one.

I don't think I've ever seen you say an episode was good...
I don't think I've ever seen you say an episode was good...
Hm... most likely haven't. I disliked Las Vegas. Cut Throat was really good, as well Back to New Orleans! Does that help?
So the girls had a chance to have EVELYN vs LAUREL in the first round and they didn't take that opportunity? Are they playing with any type of intelligence at all?? I don't really understand what the purpose/strategy was in putting in Aneesa. Hopefully one of the girls takes to twitter or something to explain the logic in this strategy because that really didn't make ANY sense and I'm honestly baffled.

Not really. I personally think it's the best we've seen in a while, challenge wise.
Now that I've rewatched, I think it was Aneesa's fault they lost. Robin was way over extended. Aneesa's arms were very bent. It appeared that she pulled Robin off the plank.

You must be painfully new to how this works. Intelligence isn't what people are using. And it wasn't like some of us didn't try...

I personally thought the challenge we saw today was horrible... didn't take much athleticism. Hoping the challenges get better, not holding my breath.
The TJ/Evelyn moment was SO awkward...and based on what he said on Derrick's podcast, he probably doesn't even remember why.
Care to explain?

Of course. With this ego filled group and Laurel having what seems to be everyone on her side, definitely not a shocker that intelligence had nothing to do with it.
Care to explain?
Because of his crash, TJ's memory is still pretty messed up. He asked Derrick on the podcast if he was on this challenge. He also said that he didn't watch any old episodes to try to familiarize himself with what had happened on past challenges and that while he was on this challenge he would sometimes forget who people were. I doubt him calling out Evelyn after she lost on FM2 was a memory that was monumental enough for him to have held on to through everything he went through.

LOL... Some have far too many dead brain cells.
But, from Eve and Paula's perspective, I sense some intent toward a season's free pass to the finals.
Well more than half the cast have done a season with Laurel so they are familiar with her and want her around so they voted with her, as simple as that.
It was VERY smart of Laurel to immediately get everyone to vote for Aneesa and Robin. She did this because she knew the smart thing would be for her to be put in. lucky for her the other girls are idiots.....
Was I seeing things or does Ty's shirt say Tyrell? I think I'm seeing things :P
WOW, Davis and Tyrie...I laughed, but I kinda felt bad. At least they didn't DQ.
I'm SO glad the rookies won, especially Jonna and Jasmine! Hope they keep up a winning streak :)
Robin's speech...oh, how we've missed you Robin!
On that note, I felt so sad that Robin and Aneesa went home so early. I love them both as competitors and I love their personalities. Wish we got to see more of them. Oh well :(
And, I agree, if I had the chance to put Evelyn vs. Laurel, I would've taken it in a heartbeat. Aneesa and Robin would've been a good choice to keep around until the finals, as they're not really long distance runners.
Loved CT's comments. I think he's hilarious! I'm glad to see a different side of him :)

Pretty sure you aren't seeing things. It says Tyrell.

Really? Nothing is every that simple. They don't want Laurel there any more than they want Evelyn there, not if the have any designs on the money. It's just foolish. Based simply on the laws of probability, the only intelligent thing to do is to send in the perceived best team as often as possible in hope of a fluke, low percentage loss. Any other strategy has Laurel and Eve facing off at the end. That might be good TV for some of us, but it's a real waste for any of the remaining cast who really did want the opportunity to win.
Textbook Aneesa, making mountains out of mole hills. She pulls this every challenge with having to throw a tantrum when she gets called out, like she is above being called out or something. Then at the end, she sort of made it sound like Robin was the whole reason why their team lost when Aneesa was the one shaking and struggling and actually had to let go of Robin's hand in the middle of it. Glad that Mrs. Potato Head lookin goof is gone first episode.
Thought that going off time was kind of a lame way for Leroy & Adam to win because going off distance, it looked like CT & Adam jumped out way farther than they did. But, I love Leroy's demeanor on this challenge. Liked how he basically told Kenny & Wes to save their breath because he didn't need their help to win and when he said it, you could tell he meant what he said.
Also thought it was funny at the end of the show when CT was talking to Kenny & Wes that Kenny never looked CT in the eye when he said anything to him and Wes basically sat in the corner counting the freckles on his arm to pass the time.

I am waiting for their drama when CT gets up in his face how he reacts.

Kenny was talking directly to all the pretty young girls who are sending him twitter love tonight. It was Kenny and the camera lens and a producer who wanted the Kenny show. Unfortunately for Kenny, CT made more sense.

Yeah it seems like with CT there Kenny is not as in the spotlight. Infact the challenge reminded me more of The Gauntlet 3 where CT and Adam were there.
