The Real World San Diego: La Jolla (2011) - Cast Spottings (Spoilers)

My cousin drove by at about 10:30 this morning and there wasn't much activity. He saw a blonde girl with long hair on a front patio above the garage who looked like she could possibly be a member of the cast, but could just be production. He lives on the north end of Chelsea Ave and will walk by later to see if he can snap a picture or two. I hope she is just production because a long haired blonde girl reminds me too much of Cameran :(

But hey you're right. If they cast people exactly like RW14 this would be one of, if not, the best season in a long time.

Saw them tonight at BeachWood. I took some not so great pictures if anybody is interested. It was hard to tell who the cast was but I think I got a couple pictures of the cast. As far as the numbers go it looked like: [SPOILER]4 guys and 3 girls[/SPOILER]

So yes, the property owners as a group absolutely can dicate [to a certain extent] what owners do with their respective land. As far as the issue at hand, I see both sides. I have heard lots of horror stories and I could see where people do not want to be disturbed, but I also can see that sometimes story get exadgerated and blown out of perportion (think the game "telephone" * 26 seasons + every other reality tv show) As for your webcam idea, I bet production would find a way to "accidently" block and or damage your webcame as soon as they figured out what was happening :p

Even if not, the process and appeals would still give them free reign for their production schedule. I'm sure they could try to block my theoretical webcam's view, but there is not much they could do to damage it if it were installed on my property and in compliance with whatever laws that might apply without them getting caught and me being able to replace it with a Walmart run. Hardwired cameras wouldn't be so easy to scramble without them jamming a boatload of other stuff in the process :)

Can not speak for SD, but I just moved from a place that was far from "upscale" and they had more rules and regulations then I ever thought possible. As has been stated before, if the residents were given a choice upfront I bet they would have been able to not allow the show to film in that location. As a matter of fact, I can almost guarentee that. BMP and MTV want as little attention as possible, and a fight with the area they want to film in would most definitly defeat that goal Not that it matters. What is done is done, and so far the lack of any problems sounds like (at least so far) the cast has not made an *** of themselves.

Weird. I am new to this site (found it while wondering who Jonna was during Cancun) but it seems like you guys break news before anyone else, and I have not heard anything bad that they have done. Of course, you can be a pest and still not be liked. Enough from me, looking forward to more and more updates. Should be interesting to see some pics from the gym (assuming they head out to the gym anytime soon) as I would guess that would be a great chance to sneak in some photos of the cast

I can almost promise there will be some fights this season given what happens in SD nightly.

The last 3 seasons has a cast member leave for pretty dumb reasons (Erika and Ryan leaving by choice and Adam for damaging too much property) so this season I'm really hoping that this year someone leaves for physical violence , preferably a female!

I'd like The Real World to stay slightly classier than other Reality TV shows. I like arguments more than watching people get pulled off each other. Reality TV fights are always broken up quickly. Plus, I'm getting sick of people getting sent home.
