The Real World San Diego: La Jolla (2011) - Cast Spottings (Spoilers)

On another note, I just searched "The Real World San Diego" on Facebook and looked at posts from everyone on Facebook and it is disgusting. There are people planning to go terrorize the cast and it's just pathetic. The residents of the San Diego area are making themselves looks terrible... not the Real World kids.

So we now have six definite locations that were okayed for filming: Subway in PB, Tavern (Bar), The BeachWood (Restaurant/bar), Gringo's (Restaurant), Fred's Mexican Cafe (Restaurant and across the intersection from Tavern)(they were eating there tonight) and BarWest (Bar).

Blonde is definitely on... 90% of the girls that auditioned in Dallas were hot blondes. The dudes suck.

None of the latter looked like Real Worlders.

There was a Nathan in Dallas that made it to the hotel interviews the day after casting call. He was gay. Actually gave me a cigarette while we were filling out that 30 page app. Trying to remember his last name.

A lot of the RW casts seem to look different in photos and videos than they do on TV. I guess maybe they might soften up their looks in the editing or they use a lot more make-up or something. For instance, Naomi and Nany from Vegas look more ethnic in photos I've seen than on TV (I've seen some of Nany that also make her look less gorgeous and more freaky) and I thought Dustin looked older on the reunion show than he did on the episodes.

The blonde girl gives me a Kimberly kind of vibe (I guess because they look similar), but I agree that I can't really picture these people being on the Real World. I wonder if that dark haired girl in the restaurant picture really is Asian, if she is they would really be trying to replicate the original season haha.

Did someone post earlier that none of the cancun kids looked like real worlders? Seriously? They all looked like "Real Worlders." I also agree with the poster who said these San Diego kids look older...

I'm going to think back to that time when we saw our first pic of the Brooklyn cast (from far away I might add!), and try not to judge this kids on how they look from these pics. It's way too soon to tell. ;)

It always seemed kind of silly to me because, well, it's just a picture heh.

I think it's safe to say dude with the beard and jordan jersey is a tool, doesn't matter how old he is.

I've used crew people who look and dress exactly that way. In fact, I've employed a crew member who might be considered a twin of the guy pictured.

Michael Jordan wore that jersey in school. Does that make him a tool? Or is he still the greatest athlete who has ever lived? Pretty sure he is still the greatest athlete who has ever lived. /Snark Seriously though, it behooves one to judge someone by their character, and not their appearance. Martin Luther King Jr. said that. And you know what? I thought the clothes he wore were super lame. But he was one of the coolest dudes in history. Did your mom never tell you to not judge a book by it's cover? It's an analogy about being prejudiced. Because there is more to a book than a cover. There's a whole frickin' story, man! Just like that toolbox in the beard and the Jordan jersey. There is a WHOLE LIFE STORY, man. In conclusion, kinda drunk.

I work at a club in Gaslamp and most, if not all of the cast visited and stayed for around 2 and a half hours this evening. There were 3 dudes and 3 gals that I saw. we all signed waivers and expect them to return thru taping. From the people I saw this evening who were introduced to us as the cast. which might not be everyone. Only one of the cast members has been caught in the photos shown earlier in this thread. The guy with the sdieburns and scruff. on pg 2 at the table on the right and Freeannyong posted 3 pics on pg 5 the bottom one out of the 3 is the guy im describing everyone else must be tag alongs or others just in shot. I will help ID later pics and questions without giving away to much!! like all of our pictures!! lets just say nobody was really impressed with this cast.
