Its like some episodes are sooo good, and some suck.
Exactly what I was thinking... they barely have a upper middle ground. Some episodes are real good, but usually if they aren't, they are really bad. I also want them to give Mercedes some love... why is she the only one who doesn't ever have a boyfriend? Even wheelchair dude gets some lovin'
I'm thinking Quinn is going to pull something.
Same here. It looks like although Jesse is obnoxious (still he has a great voice), he's not screwing them over... looks like that will be Quinn's job. I really dislike QUinn's character in the show... but her haircut looks cute for next episode.

I think the only episodes I ever enjoy are those written by Ian Brennan. If they're written by Brad Falchuk or Ryan Murphy, I tend to dislike them. Brennan's got a way about making the stories about how the characters are feeling while the other two seem to write episodes so the cast can sing a certain song.

I hope the finale isn't two hours of Kurt and Rachel solos and duets. They really need to do more group performances and less of the Kurt and Rachel performances I think. I probably won't watch season 3 if the finale is all about those two characters and everybody else is treated like furniture.

As far as I know, the finale is only going to be one hour long. I doubt with Nationals in this episode that they are going to just focus on Rachel and Kurt, especially with a story line about what Quinn is planning.

Really not sure how I feel about 9 songs in one hour.

And four of them being original songs. Definitely way too many songs for one episode. Hopefully they won't show the entire version of every single one of them.
If they do 9 songs with a 3 minute average, that would be more than half of a 48 minute episode. That is way tooooo much music if there is going to be any plot to the episode. I'm getting tired of the show anyway, but this is horrible.
It was a better finale than I expected and I absolutely loved a Kurt song for once, but it was way too predictable. I wish they would have done something different and shot something from left field. Whatever happened to Quinn actually doing something?
Didn't hate it as much as I thought I would. Only thing I really liked was Sam and Mercedes being a couple. Are they SamCedes, SaMercedes or MerSamdes in gleek now?
This pretty much sums up my feelings about the finale and season 2 as a whole:
Of course, Finn can’t go back to Quinn because, completely out of left field, Quinn has become the plotting, devious ex-girlfriend, ready to destroy the entire glee club to get her revenge. Oh, wait. She got a haircut. Nevermind. Storytelling!
Oh and all the numbers sucked hard last night. The only decent one was the Rachel/Kurt Wicked duet and it wasn't even that great. It just looked fabulous next to all the stank of the other bajillion they packed in.
I didn't watch last night's episode and based on some of the comments I've been reading, don't think I'll even bother...
Skip it. Biggest moment was the reveal that Sam and Mercedes are secretly dating. Shocker!!!

All right now that the season finale has aired, I can come into the spoiler thread rather than posting in the deserted non-spoiler thread. Some thoughts I had about the finale:
- Too many songs and the only two I actually enjoyed were For Good (I LOVE WICKED!) and the one that everyone sang at Regionals.
- Quinn's new haircut looks good, but I thought she had something evil planned?
- It's good that the students are actually talking about graduating... I figured the writers would have all of them fail their senior year so they had one more season to write. I mean, what's going to happen after they all graduate? And I can only imagine the High School Musical songs they sing when they graduate. Oh boy.
- I'm getting kind of annoyed with all of the Glee club relationship crossovers. I mean, they should make a chart of all of the members they all dated. First, Finn's with Quinn and then with Rachel and then Quinn again and now Rachel again. Santana's been with Puck, Finn, Sam, and apparently Brittany now? Tina and Artie dated and now Tina's with Mike. Aaaaaand now we have Sam and Mercedes.
This season was not as enjoyable as the first season. I made a prediction halfway through season one that this season would last four seasons tops. Let's see if I'm right.

Agreed about the episode. It was not exciting at all. It seemed very different and it lacked that sarcastic humour that we all know and love.... I did like the song Rachel/Finn sang though and I also liked that the 2nd song (in the competition) involved everyone's voices. Story line= blah. Songs= eh. Excitement=N/A

LOL.

They've said that they will have the current cast graduate and bring in a whole new cast.
So I may be in the minority here but the actual episode in itself wasn't that bad. Puck getting carded at the bar was hilarious considering he looks old as ****. I loved Blaine telling Kurt I love you. I love Brittany's speech to Santana. The New York song was cute. The actual episode I thought was good. The huge difference between last year and this year's finale though is crazy cause I remember when they sang "To Sir with Love" and the tears were flowing..however, this one, not so much.
As for the actual "glee" part, excuse my french but what the **** was that? No really, what the the **** was that? Vocal Adrenaline ******* out and ended up looking worse than ND. Light up the whatever wasn't as bad as loser like me (that song is horrid) but like I posted a couple days ago, kids bop anyone? Bad, bad music choices. I didn't even enjoy the Rachel and Kurt solo and I usually love them together.
Finn is annoying as ever, get rid of him please. He's a ******* loser.
Good season, nothing will ever compare to the first but I'm disappointed with the original songs. I really don't know what they are thinking.
I tend to enjoy it better when they do songs that I know and like. The main reason I didn't like it was because it was SO predictable. You could tell they were not going to lose from the beginning. If next season's premiere doesn't pick up the momentum I will be jumping ship.

Wait, they actually WON nationals??
I thought they would put that off until season 3, at least...

1) I'm not 100% sure if you're being sarcastic or not
but seeing as how you said you haven't watched the episode...
2) I'm pretty sure that was a typo. They came in 12th at Nationals.
Having no computer for four days and using just my cell phone is my excuse for making that typo that made me look as if I was watching a completely different show :)
