Loved the Journey medley, not gonna lie, I bought all the glee albums except for the Christmas and Madonna one...I know I'm a loser.

Wasn't Anne Hathaway going to play a part of Kurts lesbian aunt? I think she may be the one who dies. It says "one of McKinley's own is hit with an unexpected loss."

Also, why would Sue Sylvester go to the funeral for Kurt's aunt? (Then again, this is glee... and they tend to do things that don't make a whole lot of sense) Both Hathaway and Javier Bardem were supposedly cast as roles this season, I have no idea why they didn't appear, but my guess is that (at least in Hathaway's case) they'll appear in season three.

My guess is that it'll be Sue's sister, and that will also maybe save Sue's character from her awful storylines this season.
I think it is her sister as well, but I was just throwing another idea out there :D
um...
Called it.
I actually thought this was also a good episode... liked how Finn broke up with Quinn.... it was about time. But I wanna know what Quinn's trifling self is gonna do...
Who died tonight? I got called into work!!
Uh.... so I might be the only person who thinks this, but Will Schuester was pretty **** disrespectful to stand up during Sue's eulogy. Plus, I thought it would have been so much more powerful to have Sue continue to read it. The "Pure Imagination" song was very nice, though. Episode was fairly good - but all the songs, with the exception of the final one, were clearly just thrown in there to add music to the episode. I'm glad there was more story development though. Oh, and Worst Cliffhanger Ever. I also agree with Jesse St. James - Finn looks like a zombie or whatever when he tries to sing and dance... Oh - and Jessalyn Gilsig seems to be leaving the show. While I love this character so much, I'm not surprised at all, seeing as how she hasn't appeared much in season two. This actually made me much more sad than Jean's death/funeral.

Many funerals I've been to people have had to step in and finish for those who become overwhelmed. Will just happened to be the closest thing she had to family there that could step in for her. I do agree it might have been more powerful for Sue to read the whole thing herself.

I personally really liked the episode, but I feel as if it wasn't needed. It felt as if it was thrown in there to be a filler. They could have come up with a better story line instead of having someone die. I also think they could have shown that Sue does have a heart another way. I am however really happy that Finn and Quinn are no more (never really liked them together). I am a big Jesse fan, but I don't think he's really necessary being there and that Rachel should probably be with Finn.

I think the reason why I found it so disrespectful was that I just attended my grandfather's funeral last Monday (the 9th) and had somebody stepped up to "help me out" or whatever while I was speaking, I would have wanted to punch them in the face. Personally, I felt 1) that he was disrespectful and 2) the writers stole a potentially AMAZING Sue Sylvester moment from us. (Don't worry, I know you agree with me on the second point :) )
I personally really liked the episode, but I feel as if it wasn't needed. It felt as if it was thrown in there to be a filler.
Definitely felt like filler. When they started with the solo auditions and were showing whole songs instead of snippets, it screamed that they needed something to fill time outside of the funeral story. Easy way to waste 15mins without any writing effort.

I feel as if the finale will go by fast when they could have spent two episodes on the NYC/Nationals storyline instead of a song packed rushed one.

Plus, I felt more as though he went up to comfort her and she shoved the paper his way...could be just me though. I thought this episode was enjoyable and it did develop the character story lines. It wasn't a huge episode though, I can agree on that.

I think it has something to do with me thinking that Will is a terrible teacher and an even worse role model. Lol. I'm just inclined to always think the worse of him. And also because I love Sue Sylvester and want more of her in my life.
Does anybody know anything about some new show they are gonna be having that is like a Glee American Idol or something? (sorry if this shouldn't be asked in a spoiler thread. Wasn't sure) I am not sure if it is a real show or just a Glee spinoff made to look like a contest.

The winner will receive a guest stint on season three of Glee.
Finally watched it, I'm over Quinn/Rachel/Finn. Rachel's obsession with Finn is creepy. I know he feels the same way but at least he's less creepy about it. Seriously, can't stand any of them and completely over all of them. I'm starting to think the writers forget that there are other people on the show. I always enjoy Sue, even if she is completely over the top about her destroying Glee club and we all know she has a heart so it was nice of them to show that. I teared up a little when she held Will's hand. Didn't like any of the song choices except for pure imagination, which was beautiful. Speaking of song choices, the finale is going to suck and I hope new directions lose. They deserve to lose. All of them.

Maybe season 3.
I honestly don't see them giving ND the win in season 2. Maybe season 3.
I hope not because original songs are a dumb idea and they all suck. Seriously, you might as well put the people behind kids bop in the competition, they deserve to win over New Directions. I know I sound like debbie downer but I know the potential the show has and they aren't living it up to it at all.

But I personally don't think anything is ever going to top the Journey medley from season 1.

I'm really taken aback with the direction they are going with the show anymore.
I honestly don't see them giving ND the win in season 2. Maybe season 3.
I'm convinced Jesse's gonna do something that makes New Directions lose.
