You mean, you have an app to view flash. Haha.
I'm a simple guy. I just want a browser. They've been around for awhile. That's it. I just want to be able to view the internet as it is designed.
That is why I reject iPad and anything Apple. When I want to view my fantasy sports team, I don't need an app for that. I need a browser that works as it is supposed to work like any other modern browser - I type in the web address and I go there. That's that. Does it need to be more complicated?
Maybe I'm old school.
Back to Fantasy baseball, how about Braun today? Fantasy stud. I expect him to do that every day of the week, er...kinda. :)

:(
I switched a few of my players around. Maybe I'll have better luck next week.
Unfortunately, rosters are locked for another week. So you're stuck with your current lineup until rosters lock again the Monday after this one. The season opened on a weird day and in doing so, made the first period longer than normal.
My pitching is struggling. Not to mention, when the Sox are down so am I.

I'll take your Evan Longoria and up you a Hanley Ramirez. Everything that could go wrong, has gone wrong for me in this first scoring period. I am actually impressed that I'm no longer showing negative numbers on the pitching side...
Pedroia starts slow... So, I jump the gun and replace him with Figgins. Now, Figgins is on the DL thanks to a thumb (of all things) and Pedroia is on fire.
FML.
Looking for a quality starting pitcher. I have plenty of batters I would be willing to move. Let me know if anyone can help me out.
I may be able to help you out. I am going to need a bat to replace Josh Hamilton. I have Josh Johnson I would be willing to part with.

Definitely interested. Who on my squad do you like for him? If you want to send an offer I will either accept it or counter offer it

Which team is yours, so I can look at your roster
I'm sticking with Hanley Ramirez, being he was my first pick (till death -or end of season- do us part.) That said, if I was in the market for a SS, I'd snag Jed "Zeppelin" Lowrie right now and ride the hydrogen over the outfield wall...
Edit: Well, he is batting .474 and Francona says he is now an everyday player.
Red Sox SS Jed Lowrie, who has started all three games of the team's recent winning streak, going 8 for 14 (.571) with two home runs during that stretch, will get priority over Marco Scutaro at shortstop at least while he's hot, according to WEEI.com. Manager Terry Francona recently called Scutaro after a game to explain his reasoning. "I told him, 'Hey, man -- look. … I think you're a pro, but we can't keep this kid out of the lineup. I wouldn't be doing my job,'" Francona said. "And I said, 'If you want to come and talk to me, I owe you that, but I have to play this kid.'"
He's 2-3 with an HR today. Hanley won't be mad at me if I give him a week's rest...
Finally, the slump is over!
I'm horrible at this game, but sometimes I catch a few breaks and pull off a win. Sorry Dream Team. :(
I have built my team for the playoffs, early season fluke victories don't worry me ;)

I could tell that about your team. Clearly they are pacing themselves and thrive only when it's do or die!
I'm just glad to get one in the win column.
So who is still active in our league? I realize that just because you don't post messages doesn't necessarily mean you aren't active, but it feels like a 2-3 person conversation on this page most of the time. Just trying to get a feel for how many we still have with us.
Here are the "Power Rankings" going into week 4:

I was in dead last as of yesterday, so second to last is an improvement!

Hopefully with Longoria back my team can start putting together some wins. I feel like I am winning my matchup for most of the week, but then I lose it Saturday or Sunday.
#1 two weeks in a row
And you have a gimme this week as We Destroy Gods is a dead team (who just got destroyed by a God.)
That said, I'm only 57 points back in overall scoring and I'm charging right now. I should overtake the number 1 spot by week 6. :D
Notes:
The top 3 scoring teams are all from the east.
The Deam Team has had the most points scored against.
The yanks have had the least points scored against.
After leading the scoring in week 1, The Dreamboats have lost 3 straight.
I love polls...
There are 10 people in our league.
One person checks their team hourly (I have no idea who, but they are probably [strike]insanely focused on beating the other teams at all costs[/strike] a nutjob.) Three people check their team daily. One person checks their team weekly. Five people don't even know they have a fantasy baseball team.*

* If you didn't vote, you are probably not aware there is a poll
So like I said at the beginning, here we are in month two and half the league is dead or close to dead. Lots of DL players on active rosters.
It's ridiculous.
This will probably be the last season.
Money will have to be involved in the future (a serious league where people put up a few dollars.) If not, we'll still get randoms that love to draft and then leave their team to die for 4 months...

I agree, if we do this again next year only people who are serious should be allowed to play. I did have a player who was on the d.l start one week but I got wasted the night before and missed the roster deadline but I make sure to check my team a couple times a day.

I know you are playing. My rant was not toward you. I actually hope you'd miss that more often, lol.
But, you know what I am talking about. We all know who the people that are playing are and those that are not.
It will still be fun and we will fight for the crown, but next time around there will be entry requirements. Maybe a few dollars online. Maybe we weed out those that failed us in the past.
Football is next so we as a core group (actives) will have to make decisions when that time comes.
