Um well, considering Ev is definitely one of the top five female competitors on the show, and arguably number one, and she's done a challenge with Tori, I'd say yeah, Ev's opinion is probably dead on.
One word. Brooke.

if Ev, says so she must be right, she knows more then we do
Just curious, what is your guys favorite episode EVER? for whatever reasons.
Mine is the Battle of the Seasons' "Sidekick Showdown". The entire thing was amazing, with Theo saying "he read something about [Holly's 'chesticles'] on the internet" and her reaction, Mike saying Coral's website should be *****.com, to which Coral agrees, and Sean saying "virginity has its privileges". SO many one-liners in that episode. It just goes to show you that not every mission has to be about physical strength.
So what's your guys' favorite episode?

I cant decide to be honest lol
Who's the new who?
I think
Laurel is the new Ev- she's a good competitor and has enemies.
Jenn will become the new Paula- Never wins.
Luke, Brandon, Vinny- New JEK.
I M O .
I think in order for someone to be "the new who", the old who has to disappear and unfortunately i don't think that's happening. But by their second challenge, Luke, Brandon, and Vinny were just there. They had 0 pull in to what went down. And i can't quite see them controlling a whole entire challenge just yet. Evan in the Duel was already seen as one of the best competitors and was treated as such.

Having met and talked to the guy on two separate occasions, I seriously doubt that Brandon has the inherent duplicitous nature to ever be a part of anything akin to "JEK." He's just too nice a guy: humble, intelligent, interested in other people, and very polite to women.

That quote alone made it the best episode of the season! :D

Chet reminds me Theo because of his character.
Brandon reminds me Derrick (big hear, pretty good competitor)
Jenn is the new Coral. Why do you think she is a new Paula? I mean both girls started doing these show almost together (Paula - The Duel in 2006, Jenn - The Inferno in 2007...)
Kenny reminds me A LOT OF Miz. I don't know why, for real.
I LOVE Katie especially on The Ruins haha I gotta admitt as well Evan and Kenny are hilarious love them both. At the begining of The Ruins one of the first dailies Evan and Kenny were messing with the asian male at the airport and his
microphone lol had me laughing alot.

Luke/Brandon/Vinny the new JEK? That seems completely off base. None of them seem like they have the physical capabilities/shadiness of Evan, or the conniving sides that we've seen out of Kenny and Johnny and their ability to build numbers.

What, just because she has a big mouth? Plenty of the girls on these shows do. Coral had so many laugh out loud one-liners, and she never seemed to get in pointless arguments, it was always somebody provoking her wrath. Jenn just tries to intimidate people by yelling over them and flies off the handle at the drop of a hat. Coral's hilarious when she's ******, Jenn's not. I would compare her to Tina way before I'd compare her to Coral.
Thank you! Jenn's just loud all the time and that's about it.
I know right, she has no intimidating factor at all. No one's scared of her and i doubt she can run an entire team the way Coral did on The Gauntlet and Inferno. When Coral spoke, people listened.

Honestly I did think that she would be the next Coral, but after watching The Gauntlet and Inferno, I had a change of heart.
I think if anyone is the new Paula, then its Sarah.
-So far, Sarah has been on all three seasons she could since her season (The Ruins, FM II, Cutthroat) Paula was on the first 5 in a row after her season.
-Out of the three Sarah has been on, she made it to the end on two (The Ruins, Cutthroat) and lost both. Paula made it to the end of two out of the three of her first challenges, losing the final in both.
-The one challenge Sarah has been eliminated, she went home second. The one challenge (out of her first three) Paula was eliminated, she was the second female to go home.
Honestly I did think that she would be the next Coral, but after watching The Gauntlet and Inferno, I had a change of heart.
And battle of the sexes II. None of the girls even thought of sending Coral home. Even when she was up for elimination she would openly discuss the final mission and which of her teammates she would rather have with her and everyone else agreed knowing only three women would make it to the end out of 18.
Coral was toooo good. She made it to the end EVERYTIME except when she had to be medically taken out and when she quit, but still. I wish Coral would come back
I'm kind of iffy about Coral. I don't really like her, she seems really ruthless, bossy, or um...superior at times? But at other times, I love her cause she's hilarious, or speaks the truth. I find Coral said a lot of unnecessary things as well, so I would compare Jenn to her.
Listening to Derrick's podcasts has really been enlightening, especially with regards to old challenges. On one particular podcast Mark Long pretty blatantly admits the reason he allowed Eric Nies to make the final of BOTS2 because Dan, Theo, Eric and Mark had an agreement to split the money 4-ways. On the BOTS2 reunion, Lala even says to Mark (concerning them cutting Brad loose) why couldn't you split the money FIVE ways? (instead of four).
On Battle of the Seasons, in front of production the teams (minus Coral) blatantly made contracts to split the prize money.
I'm not sure about the challenges until then, but by the Gauntlet 3 it was made clear the Veterans would be disqualified for breathing a whisper of offering to split the money with Eric if he faked sick the day before the final.
Somewhere along the lines production stated prize money splitting isn't allowed. Does anyone know when this happened?
Maybe a chance for the weak competitors to rise to the occasion huh.
So I suspect we are guna see some competitors such as Shauvon, Casey, Johanna, Mandi, Theresa, Emily, Jemmye, and other "weaker" competitors.
Lets play the "What If" game...
On Battle of the Sexes I what if the guys were not allowed to copy the girls' puzzle?
On the Gauntlet I what if Coral WAS NOT bitten by a spider?
On the Inferno I what if Piggy wasn't replaced by Christena?
On Battle of the Sexes II what would have happened if Arissa did not make it to the end?
On Inferno II what if Beth didn't quit?

The world probably would have ended.
Well I think the guys would have solved the puzzle anyways. It was said that they beat the girls by 45 minutes. And while I do think Beth is a decent competitor, I don't think she would have helped the ******** win anything more than they already did, including the final. Perhaps, Beth might have lost to Jodi, Robin, or Shavonda in the inferno, which could have changed the game.
Here's a question that's been bugging me for a little bit:
Was Timmy going home on The Inferno 3 a cop out for how injured he was? I mean looking at that again and what I've heard about Timmy's legs, it looked to me like they came up with that as an excuse since he had to go home anyway. Any insight on this? Also curious if there's any other odd occurrences like this in Challenge history.

I don't think it's really fair to put Emily in the same category as Shauvon and Casey. She did put her self in two one on one elimination round and went to a final on her first challenge. Yeah Casey did too, but Wes was pushing her along the whole time.
Anyway, with all the Duel 3 speculation wouldn't it be hilarious if they threw out something odd like The Island 2 of BOTS 3.
So is rumored cast really that horrible?
