Well the people without a "rival" would all be ineligible if they did frenemies wouldn't they? Landon, Derrick, Darrell (maybe Wes but that's a stretch), Brad...none of them have an enemy person. The only pairings (for guys) I could think of off the top of my head are Kenny/Wes and CT/Adam or Johnny.
At the same time, thinking of how it would work, isn't who goes completely dependent on both people saying yes? It's not like Fresh Meat where it doesn't really matter what alumni go beyond having enough of each gender...for something like this if Wes says no, then why have Kenny? If CT says no why have Adam?
NO Kenny? What's going on, if he's not cast this will be the longest he's gone without doing a challenge.
Maybe molds13's reference is to some fan favorites (at least her favorites) who don't have enemies and therefore might not fit into a cast which had that flavor. It's all pure speculation at this point. It's not like BMP is going to tell one or two cast members what the format will be. They would need to tell everyone and there is no way some of the cast could refrain from some seemingly (to them) obscure reference via twitter which would give it away.

Frankly, it sound like impossible casting to me. What happens if someone backs out at the last minute due to a perfectly legitimate reason? They can't have backups for each enemy. I just have a hard time seeing that work out.

I understand. I'll wait until Molds releases the legit info. It's easier that way.

Me too, and I'm all over the "easier way" thing.
In hindsight, as V1 Man mentioned, it could be very difficult to cast a Frenemies Challenge. I suppose it's possible for all the cards to fall right in to place but I dunno if I can see that happening.
Worst comes to worst they could just make a team around one enemy! Cast Johnny, Wes and Laurel and you're good to go! Laurel gets stuck with Abe, Cara Maria and Easy. Johnnny with CT, Susie and *insert female cast member name here*. You're good to go!
I wonder if this is why only 2 Back to NOLA male cast members were contacted. They haven't been on a challenge to have enemies so it would have to stem from their season (Ryan and Preston?).

How do you know that?
I think an enemies challenge would be extremely difficult to cast for a few reasons. Firstly, very few cast members would agree to do a challenge with someone they hate (especially older cast members). Secondly, balancing strength would be difficult. A team with Abe and Laurel would be very powerful. Thirdly, it would be difficult to balance the males and females. A lot of the enemies that I can think of are males and males or females and females. Finally some fan favorites don't really have enemies, maybe people they've gotten into fights with, but no one they actively dislike (Derrick and Brad come to mind as examples).
I can tell you guys that based on what I've been hearing and who has been getting availability calls, one of the formats mentioned in this thread appears to be correct ;)
Same here.
Personally, I would love to have a live verison of the challenge similar to Big Brother. It may not have to be live, but at least in the similar format of big brother. One person will win power and must nominate two people for elimination. If this was the case I think it would have the potential for more drama and cause every person to talk to every other person. So much would go down in that house it would be insane.

That would NEVER happen because the housing conditions on the challenges now are horrific. BMP would never show us how they treat the castmembers now.

This would never happen. The owners of the world-wide Big Brother franchise would sue and they did when Channel 5 in the UK aired a live program called "Back to Reality." Princess Productions, the company responsible for the show, was forced to settle out of court to avoid a court-ordered shut down of the show while it was being aired, due to the significant similarities between formats to which the Big Brother people have copyright. Another major negative is that live or near-live TV is very expensive, between 70 to 100 percent more expensive than normal tape to broadcast, not to mention that it would largely eliminate production's ability to manipulate the story line. It's not in their interest to show us what really happens because a lot is very, very boring.

Not to mention they already tried doing a (somewhat) live Road Rules. Remember Viewers Revenge? In my opinion it was one of the worst seasons of Road Rules.

I like the idea, but like everyone else said, it'll never happen. BMP might be wise to consider setting up a live feed and charging for it, just to make some extra money to let the contestants get out of the house and put some money back into it. They could sell passes or set up a PPV channel for viewing.
I actually like the idea, as long as it wasnt live i think it would work, I mean they did kinda copy off survivor already, why not Big Brother?
I think V1 already discussed the reasons perfectly well. Airing the show live would prevent them from manipulating the storyline, and we all know how much they love doing that. But even if they didn't do it live, the format kind of takes away from the flexibility. I just don't see them taking that chance.
This speculation about the "frenemies" may be true or false, but it doesnt matter. I just want Paula Walnuts to be in it. Though, she does have two "frenemies": Annesa & Ev. :D
I still can't wait for another battle of the sexes.....yea the women usually get the shaft on the challenge end but there are a good number of strong females in the past couple of years that could make a fresh outlook on an old concept interesting....

Another Battle of the Sexes won't happen, because, first, the name is copyrighted and it would cost money just to name it "Battle of the Sexes". Second, and more important, it's too difficult to make missions that are fair for both men and women.
Since molds said fan favs most likely wont be apart of this, I see it as being an enemy type of season, I mean depending on what you consider a favorite of course. I predict that we will se a lot of hot heads, hot messes, and some arrogant a holes this time.
[strike]you dont have to name it "Battle of the sexes" for it to be a guys versus girls match and/or format....but i do agree that it probably wont happen....just wishful thinking[/strike]

I like the format of Battle of the Sexes, but a lot more men have been winning this than women, and I want to see more women winning, with this format that wont happen.

Actually in the 1st one, the women were actually beating the guys halfway through the challenge. The reason why, after the halfway point, the girls kept losing was because they kept eliminating strong players (Julie, Rachel, Veronica).
Hopefully the next challenge will an individual challenge. It looks like half of the people from Cut Throat are gonna be on the next challenge which is alright I guess. It wouldn't surprise me if they didn't put any people from the New Orleans cast on the next challenge and I hope the next doesn't get delayed due to TJ's accident. He is a good host, but the show must go on.

That doesn't appear to be the case.
