The filming for the challenge is in March?! ****, I thought it was earlier
I think there are pros and cons to having one challenge per year. Personally I know some people who would find out the cast for a new challenge and would say, "I don't like that person, that person and that person so I'm not watching it" or they wouldn't like the entire cast and would just wait for the next challenge in the fall. So one are year would kind of force them to watch it.
And who knows, maybe more cast members can fit a challenge in their busy lives if theres only one a year. I'm pretty sure a job would let them take about a month off a year, instead of 2 months off a year if they want to do back to back challenges. So it might be a good thing.
I'd be pretty bored without constant BMP shows on MTV though.
(I found it kind of funny that Katie and Jonny Fairplay are friends, lol)
JFP has attended a number of general reality events lately (not simply related to Survivor) and has expanded his "friend" circle rather widely. JFP also knows Katie from when they were on Kill Reality and The Scorned together and going back even further to when Katie and Trishelle were roommates in LA.

Understandably, he scaled back his reality stuff when his baby was first born. I am not surprised that he is starting to expand his professional circles now. Using reality tv to build a career has been a goal of his from the beginning. Keeping his hometown of Danville as his base where it is much cheaper to live than LA or NY has been a smart move on his part financially. He doesn't have to hustle nearly as hard as some others to have a decent quality of living for him and his family.
Carley seems to have a busy schedule...soon to leave for Australia and then Mexico in February....suspicious.
Just saw that too and kindof wondered about the next challenge...I thought a while back there was some speculation about her being on the next challenge, but then again, it was someone's random post and probably wishful thinking and not officially from a mod who would actually know a little more the next challenge than most of us. Like you mentioned, she's back from Australia in time for when it seems the next challenge would begin filming and hadn't mentioned anything for the month of March either.
I was just going to ask this. Thank the lord! So I guess that means no Camila.
Not necessarily, that just means no new Spring Break challengers. Camila, as far as I'm concerned, is now part of the Challenge "family".

Oh ok. I'm excited to see the new cast and hear about the challenge!
Yes, you and everyone else.
I'm not that excited about this cast at all. :(
I doubt you are either. I heard 3 names floating around that made me excited, I am not even sure if they are confirmed.. Thats all 3.

In the event that there was say a Gauntlet 4 next, do you think Camilla would be considered a Vet or a Rookie by G2/G3 standards?

Not something you need to worry about as far as I can tell.
There is now a cast speculation thread for you guys to speculate your little hearts out. Cast only, please. All off-topic posts will be deleted and repeat offenders will get the ban hammer.
No one followed the rules for the last speculation thread, so go crazy, I guess.
I think that if the Challenges are renewed that the next challenge is probably The Duel 3 based on the routine production follows.
Which would be what?
They normally wait 3-4 challenges before doing another of the same name.
If that's the case then i would say that it's time for another Island or BOTS. If you think of the gap between The Duels 1&2 and Fresh Meats 1&2, i think it's too soon to do a 3rd of those and a Ruins and Cutthroat 2. All that leaves is the Island or a new concept (which is what i'd prefer).
They normally wait 3-4 challenges before doing another of the same name.
I think the only actual habbit they have with seasons is always putting a gauntlet after an inferno season, other than that it all seems quite random. And I would prefer not to have a Duel 3 atm unless they'd put in some others that can actually have a chance against JEK in probably the most political challenge of all.
They normally wait 3-4 challenges before doing another of the same name.
I personally like the route that MTV is going by integrating new concepts. It keeps the cast on their feet and doesn't allow for (too many) pre-game alliances.
Unfortunately, I would say that the majority of the cast knows who else is going on a challenge as well as a basic concept. It'd be nice for them to be completely surprised when they get to wherever they're going.

It's been stated that BOTS won't be back because something to do with the format and I doubt BMP would ever do The Island again.
I say it's either The Duel 3 or a new concept, the only reason why I don't think it's a new concept is because I doubt they would do 3 new challenges in a row.

Or a gauntlet/inferno. I think Battle Of the Sexes is history, cause guys would win almost every challenge.
My preference goes to Inferno 4 or Gauntlet 4 with Gauntlet 2 team captain elimination system.
