I still don't understand why so many people try and debate who would beat who. Ok CT and Evan are beasts, does that mean they can't lose? No. Say Derrick went against Evan in something like Beach Brawl, all it would take is either to misstep and they could lose.
Everybody needs to accept the gact that anybody can beat anybody, so stop trying to think that it's impossible for somebody to lose. Am I saying Casey is gonna take on Laurel and beat her in Pole Wrestle? No. But if the two were thrown into Name That Coconut and Laurel got a few questions wrong, or dropped the coconut and somehow Casey got it, bam, upset. This is hypothetical of course but c'mon people, UPSETS HAPPEN and not everything is gonna go how you think.
I agree, the veteran males in particular played a ruthless '*******' game, and while they didn't fall to their own machinations, they lost despite them. That was the lone bright spot of that challenge for me, although slightly bittersweet because I couldn't bring myself to cheer for that miserable rookie team either, I would have preferred the money being awarded to charity at that point.
Spot on. Couldn't agree more.
Or maybe split it amongst the players that won Gauntlets, based on the number of Gauntlets won.

Thank you someone finally said it.

Man, Abram would be so screwed if he ever got that one...
I doubt that. I think it's pretty easy to look at the size of a competitor and conclude: "He can beat him, he can't beat him." Evan is ofcourse a great competitor, but he has never been in an elimination round with any physical contact:
Duel: lost to CT on the puzzle
Gauntlet 3: beat Johnny on a puzzle
Duel 2: won 3 Duels. He beat Nehemiah on the Elevator, and beat Davis and MJ on Spot on. Spot on was slightly physical(not so much), but Evan has never won in a wrestle/push/tackling elimination round. I think in something like Handcuffs, Pole Wrestle or Beach Brawl a lot of players might beat him. For instance, Derrick would be my favourite hands down on each of these elimination rounds against Evan.
Are you joking me? Derrick has been out sized once, in a wrestling match where he won. That was Gauntlet 2 against Syrus, who was over sized, and light years behind Derricks athleticism. If you've noticed, in wrestling things away, Derrick has no strategy besides hold the object close to his body. Evan would throw him around.
In something physical, Evan will beat all the Road Rulers. Mark would be the only one to match up with him.
I'll hold out my complete opinion on that because EVAN HAS NEVER BEEN IN A PHYSICAL ELIMINATION GAME but from what I've seen from Derrick and Abram in multiple physical elimination games I think they are perfectly capable of atleast keeping up with Evan and giving him all he wants... possibly even beating him.
And Darrell and Mark would probably beat Evan in more things than he could beat them in.

That's why I specifically said, "in something physical."
Wes would also destroy Evan in a physical competition unless it had to do with weight. Wes beat Derrick in pole wrestling, I highly doubt Evan would be able to do that.

I don't think Darrell is that amazing of a competitor. I mean, have we seen him do well in something physical? Same with Mark.

Derrick is outsized by almost everyone on these challenges... he's only 5'6 and 165 lbs. Derrick has been outsized by everyone he's went up against in all of the elimination games he's been in.

Brad beat MJ, I thought. I'm pretty sure Evan beat Neahmiah, Davis, and Derek (RR VR).

Not to mention, Evan got busted cheating on Ascender on The Duel against CT and CT still beat him, then tried to pawn the loss off on Wes.
1. You know what I always wondered. In the 2nd mission in BOTSexes, Ruthie won with like a time of 7 minutes, beating out more than 30 competitors. However, in the 13th gauntlet in the Gauntlet, Sarah and Irluan stayed up there for 48 MINUTES. HOW do 2 people (who were relatively weak - I mean they weren't sent in cause they were the best) beat out 30 people by such a wide margin?
2. It also ****** me off when Gladys told her team that she would leave when it was time, which is totally unfair to the rest of the team. It's like what about all those competitors (which ended up being like 2 people luckily) that would have went home before Gladys, just so she could quit when it was "time" for her to go?
3. AND what really ****** me off, well in the realms of reality television, so actually i don't care that much, but when TJ gives his opinion or starts telling teams what to do. Like you guys shouldn't vote in Brandon or **** like that. Probst would never tell a team who to vote off. He might be like you guys are voting off the weakest player or something, but it's like TJ, how they play the game isn't your business.

That's actually a REALLY good question. Also, about the Gladys thing, the two people sent home before her were also considered good competitors! I liked her, but why did she show up to a challenge in the first place? Did she really believe she could win, or even make it past the first couple eliminations?
I think they should do another Battle of the Sexes.
On Dec 5, 2008, Jon Murray said it was too hard to field challenges that were fair for both men and women, and, therefore, there would not be another Battle of the Sexes. There is your answer directly from the boss.

Was there also an issue surrounding the name of the challenge as well that prevented them from using it. I think I've read that here at some point, but it could have very well been erroneous information.

how do you know that, everybody said that Wes would destroy Kenny and in the dailies of fresh meat 2 Kenny and Wes were wrestling and Kenny manhandled Wes and by the way Evan has outperformed Wes in Fresh meat 1 and the Duel 1

I do think Evan is a solid, smart competitor, but I wouldn't throw The Duel (1) in there. He did get busted blatantly trying to cheat with a cheat sheet against CT in the duel. He did alright in the challenges, but he did have Jodi for a partner for some of it.
how do you know that, everybody said that Wes would destroy Kenny and in the dailies of fresh meat 2 Kenny and Wes were wrestling and Kenny manhandled Wes and by the way Evan has outperformed Wes in Fresh meat 1 and the Duel 1
That's because Evan always had the strongest female partners. Wes won the whole thing after beating Derrick in pole wrestling, beating Brad and CT in the 2nd last challenge, and beating Brad in the final challenge. Evan definitely didn't outshine him. Evan got smoked by CT despite having a cheat sheet.
Kenny also gave CT a bloody nose on the Inferno 3. I doubt anyone is saying Kenny is stronger than CT because of that.

If using that argument, one can also say Evan also beat Brad, and he had the weaker partner and was light years behind Brad in the Duel 2 final. (which someone can say is equivalent for Wes' having a weak partner and beating Brad.)
I don't understand why we can't all agree that Evan and Wes and whoever else (except Casey) are solid competitors. The argument is going in cycles and makes no sense. Just accept that they both have their strengths and move on.

I thought CT went home on the Inferno 3 fo punching Davis in the face.

In the Duel 1, the player with more missions won was Evan, with 5 missions in a row.
In the Duel 1, the player with more missions won was Evan, with 5 missions in a row.
Evan won 4. Wes won the 2 most important challenges and also beat Derrick in the pole wrestle duel.

Strictly matter of opinion. What you see as most important challenges may differ for someone else. Proves my point, just accept everyone has different strengths because when someone begins talking about who's better than who, it is usually a matter of opinion and subjectivity which others disagree with. Let it go.
