Definitely think you will enjoy Katie vs Ayiiia more.
Oh yay, now I'm especially excited. Mission looks entertaining, you say Katie vs. Ayiiia will be good, and I'm interested to see Luke beat Eric so tonight should be a great episode.
Your whole post is a bunch of whiny gibberish. You missed the point despite waffling on and on for about an hour. The point is, Brad tries to play up his ethics and that's what's most irritating. He thinks he's better than someone like Johnny when he's not. Brandon IS being treated like ****. Getting told a bold faced lie about how the game is going to be played fairly is being treated like ****. I was obviously being sarcastic when I said Brandon played a shady, manipulative, deceitful, awful game on FM2 but that flew right over your head. I was making light of your comment and attempts to deflect Brad's lame game by focusing on Brandon's merciless plans to send in Kenny and Laurel continuously in FM2. Brad has enough supporters, he doesn't need you to kiss up for him.
I don't recall insulting you in my post. You don't have to agree with me, but you don't have to go there either. It is up to the mods to decide if my posts are too long (it was as long as yours, btw) or if I'm waffling for an hour. I made a correction about something you incorrectly implied about my post, and again, I did it without insulting you. I disagreed with your assessment, and I provided support for that disagreement. I respect that you don't like Brad, but I don't feel comfortable with these people being referred to as ******** and dirty because of how they are playing this game. That is what I mean by people taking this too seriously, and I felt the need to express that. You can PM me if we need to discuss this further. I'd be more than happy to do that.
The whole point as to why people are upset with Brad is because Brandon's proving himself as a good player who deserves to be there while everybody sits back and keeps making him do that, including Brad.
I get your point. And I respect that. I don't like it, but I've never tried to change anyone's mind about it. However, other people have their points too. And when we express these differing opinions, we get blasted, I simply don't agree that Brad nor anyone else is playing dirty or scummy, nor that some grave injustice is being imposed upon Brandon. And I gave examples of why, instead of just posting "OOhh, Brad is not playing dirty so there!" I've been with Vevmo for a while and appreciate the differing opinions and debates.
You can argue with people all day long on the subject. At the end of the day, it's just a show and people will have their own personal opinions that they're entitled to. Your long novel-like posts aren't going to change that. You shouldn't take what people say so seriously haha.
I understand this quite well. I've read how often you post your personal opinion all day long. A lot more often than me, and I don't come in here and respond to you by insulting you because I don't agree with your personal opinion. I don't like to post repeatedly, and so I usually save it for a longer post. If it bothers you, by all means don't read it. Again, you can PM me if we need to discuss this further. If I posted something that insulted you or someone else, I'd like to know and rectify that. However, I'd also like to be able to express myself, and I'd like others to express themselves, without feeling attacked. That being said, I am very much looking forward to the gulag tonight because I'm very curious to see Ayiiia in Challenge action. I was disappointed to see Emilee leave so early because she was one of my faves coming into the game, and I'm not a big Camilla fan. But I'm still glad Katie sends Ayiiia home and gets to stay another day.
All I have are personal anecdotes to back up my opinions on this matter. Having signed a contract with my employer where one of the points allows them to terminate me over conduct that could be considered embarrassing/disgraceful even outside of the office was something I had to sign. I've had a few friends, terminated from their jobs over things as innocent as something they posted on facebook. Although all my experiences take place in Canada, I feel it's safe to assume things like 'family values' and 'an upstanding moral public image' are even more important to employers in the US, which I think would make it very hard for somebody who appeared in an on screen three way to find work in a high level corporate setting....
Sure there are a lot of places where that would be an issue, but I do not see him having a 9-5 job so it isn't as big an issue. Plus since applications tend not to ask "Have you ever been an adult entertainer" it would be a little dicier firing someone for that in their past without getting sued. In addition, there are other ways to get around that image problem if your REALLY wanted to....things like find God and becoming a crusader against the industry type things, change your name, etc. Not as many employers really check your resume the way they pretend to. I have known people who were fired just for using FB at work but that is a whole other issue BTW. IMO when you get fired for stuff like that, they are just looking for a reason to fire someone.
It's because they're going to be smacking each other in the face :D
It's because they're going to be smacking each other in the face :D
That just made me laugh and I can only imagine.
Aw, hope it's not Brandon who gets taken away in the ambulance. Unless it's Chet then, he's missing from the Gulags, comes back and then reveals he can't compete anymore? And does anybody think Brandon might actually volunteer to go in next week? I know he is against going in, but with the fight with Ty, he must've known Ty was going in so maybe he wanted to settle it in the Gulag...
Why would Brandon be the one taken away in the ambulance?
That's just what the preview seemed to want to make people think. It showed Brandon in the water bobbing under and above water, Johnny yelling down into the water, Brandon again, then the ambulance. Obviously it's probably just to throw people off, but everything was shown quick so it was hard to tell who was wading in front of Brandon, could've been Chet but it went too quick to tell.

I'm betting it's Chet :D
Hasn't it been stated that Chet leaves due to injury? I'm betting it's Chet :D
Yeah, but on the spoilers thread it says Chet doesn't leave until after the next Gulags, unless it's unsure if he goes exactly then. That's why I wasn't sure if it is Chet getting hurt this mission or the next. Above I said Chet must get hurt, be gone until the next day or at least after the Gulags, and then come back to tell everybody he can't compete anymore.
That's because Brandon and Chet jump together...
Alright, that's all I was wondering. It was hard to tell.
Is it certian that Brandon "embrasses Ty in the gulag next week? I just can't see Ty getting smoked by Brandon.
Is it certian that Brandon "embrasses Ty in the gulag next week? I hate when people can't back up what they say, so if Ty starts with Brandon (cause the previews make Ty look like the instigator) and then Brandon whoops his ***, that is gonna make my night.

Hmm I'm wondering why they send in Melinda on episode 6 instead of Camila....since nobody likes/trusts Camila and Melinda is in the alliance with them....is it possibly that Dan/Camila go before Brandon/Melinda or maybe Camila and Melinda are switched?

Based on how the Red Team is playing the game I dont see them voting her in based on performance...first of all shes a better competitor than Camila, but Brad/Tori/Dunbar/Paula/Tyler/Melinda/Chet have an alliance and they are in it for the win based on trust not based on who proves themselves.....obviously which we have seen with Brandon being sent in twice in a row and about to go in 2 more times in a row. I mean I guess its plausible that Melinda volunteers but I really dont see her doing that either....I think its going to be interesting to see how she goes in, if she goes in before Camila leaves.

It just doesnt sound right. I hope they keep voting Camila in because shes pretty much sold her soul to the devil, er, I mean Johnny Bananas lol
Is it certian that Brandon "embrasses Ty in the gulag next week? I just can't see Ty getting smoked by Brandon.
Well the gulags have shown to be all over the place up until now. It could be a strength and endurance test like the first two, or it could be something completely off the wall like the last two. Although I don't want to get caught up in the hero worship of Brandon, I do think he's come off looking like one of the strongest players on any team. He hasn't screwed up yet in any mission and has been very reliable and dependable so far. It wouldn't surprise me if he crushed Ty in something based completely on strength and athleticism.

Ty looked so arrogant. I didn't like him on the Real world and I don't like him on the Challenge. I agree to AEvans5 and I hope that Brandon kicks that fool ***.
I like Brandon. He's a strong competitor and I hope he kicks Ty's ***
Me too. Ty seems like a paper tiger to me. Being cut does not necessarily make someone a good athlete.

And since it's "embarassing", I don't think it'd be a puzzle, at least I hope it's not. Blue my favorite team, but Brandon>Ty.
Ty looked so arrogant. I didn't like him on the Real world and I don't like him on the Challenge. I agree to AEvans5 and I hope that Brandon kicks that fool ***.
I hated him on the Real World, especially when he was trying to shove his atheist beliefs down Mike's throat. But yeah, he needs to go home cuz he thinks hes the ish and hasnt done spectacular on any of the missions.

I can't really say that they vote based on performance from the next mission, because Melinda and Camila both DQ next week. I can't really say that they decided to "play it fair" either, because Brandon goes in again and Camila both go in next week. So I don't really know. Maybe Melinda DQ's again next week and Camila doesn't?
Well the gulags have shown to be all over the place up until now. molds, was Paula's comment in the Aftershow about being on the same team as a married couple making it more difficult (or something to that effect) ever explained?
Glad to hear Brandon beats Ty in something strength based, that will be fun to watch. Now the Derrick vs. Brandon one won't be fun, Derrick's always been my fav but Brandon's climbing close to the top of that ladder. Since it's a sort of tug of war Gulag, I'm not surprised Camila beats Katie, though it's gonna suck watching her leave again. Melinda vs. Emily should be enjoyable though after that.
molds, was Paula's comment in the Aftershow about being on the same team as a married couple making it more difficult (or something to that effect) ever explained?
Just to take a whack at it, but I think maybe she meant she felt that even as a veteran she would feel on the outside looking in if the numbers began to dwindle. Basically you're in an alliance with two other people that have an unshakable alliance within your own alliance. I could see the potential for that to make me weary, especially once the buffers (Mandi, Melinda, Camila) disappear.
clubsandwich, that's what I would've also thought. But what I find interesting is that Tori goes into the gulag before Paula. If Paula was at the disadvantage of the Brad/Tori connection, wouldn't she have been thrown in before Tori? Out of everyone in Red, it looked to me that Paula had the biggest advantage because she seemed to have more connections/allies. At least going into it.

However, the vote for the guys doesn't say the same thing. I wouldn't be surprised if Paula pulled the whole "Come ONNNNNNNNNNNN guys I haven't won one yet" line.
