Brad is just a terrible human being. How dare he sink down to Johnny, Kenny, and Evan's level after watching them win REPEATEDLY and realizing that what they are doing seems to work? (Which I have no problem with because I actually like Johnny Kenny and Evan.) How dare Brad actually try to win some money for himself instead of letting Johnny do what he usually does and end up taking it home again? People complain about JEK winning and what terrible people they are, but Brad has been playing nicely on these challenges 8(?) times. I see absolutely nothing wrong with him doing what he has to do to finally get a win. I'd be willing to bet alot of money that almost anyone would be pulling out some shady moves to try and win after losing 8 or so times. I know that I would. It's a game that's what they signed up for, anyone after doing at least one challenge, or even just watching a few episodes, should know that people aren't there to make friends.
I think the biggest issue with Brad at this point is how he always makes himself out to be the nice guy, the honest guy, the most stand-up moral guy, and now he's pulling this stuff. At least JEK aren't kidding anyone about how they are (not that it makes me like them any more; I'm just explaining why I think people seem to have more of a problem with Brad showing these colors now).
Personally I don't have a problem with the way Brad is playing the game. I came into this rooting for him until I saw how bad of an edit Johnny (who I like a lot) was getting. I just disagree with him jumping on Johnny for no reason as I really don't see a point in which Johnny screwed anyone out of money. Everyone says oh JEK play a ******* game. I think thats bs. EVAN plays a ******* game. Johnny and Kenny never screwed anyone on the Island. On FM2 Kenny specifically didn't screw people over to make his life easier as both Landon and Wes approached him in the latter stages of the game to try to make a deal and he said no. My issue with Brad is that he is being a hypocrite. He said like "oh the people I want here in the end are the good nice people who are here for the right reasons". Everyone is there to win money. Unless you're giving it to a charity to help sick orphan puppies I don't think anyone is there for nobler reasons then the next guy. Saying you're playing the nice guy game and sending in the same guy over and over again (who now has two one on one wins more than Brad's #2 guy) and then telling him you won't do it again even though you plan on it, don't match up.
On FM2, Kenny never had to screw over people. He and Laurel kept winning, was protected himself, and could pick whoever he wanted in the other alliance to go in. The other "alliance," however, couldn't trust itself and imploded, and they did all Kenny's dirty work for him.
I'm tired of everyone knocking on Brad. Playing nice on a Challenge doesn't get you anywhere these days, and he's finally starting to realize that. I find no problem with the way he's talking about Johnny. If I was Brad and saw that meathead winning Challenges, I'd be ****** too. He's also probably realizing that this might be his last Challenge and wants to go out on top.
I'm sorry but I find that whole "not there to make friends" thing BS. if that was the case then why do these people constantly protect their Friends? It is about friends at some level because if it wasn't then why try to protect them? Brad wants to play this game dirty? fine but don't be an Idiot about it. He needs to start building the strongest team possible and getting rid of the fat. Sure they've been winning as of late but they can't win every single challenge they do. They're gonna lose again at some point and what is he gonna do then? Send in Brandon again? That's Garbage.
How is Johnny a meat head? If anything it's his politics that have gotten him to the end. Dunbar is a meathead. CT is a meathead. Brad, who apparently just figured out how to play the political game, is more of a meathead than Johnny.
Well, they show Sarah was throwing up at the end of the challenge. She wasn't as tough as she claimed to be. Finishing last with an up set stomach ^_^
Maybe she was last because Derrick and big easy were holding them (her and Aiiiya) back...even CM said Easy was being an a##.
Maybe she was last because Derrick and big easy were holding them (her and Aiiiya) back...even CM said Easy was being an a##.
Actually, I think they said Easy was holding Cara Maria back, not Sarah or Ayiiia.
I am all for Brad and what he is doing, so Brandon got the short end of the stick. Look at the team, they are vets that want this win and are standing together, they see a potential risk, (Johnny) and are trying to resolve it. I see nothing shameful.
Maybe she was last because Derrick and big easy were holding them (her and Aiiiya) back...even CM said Easy was being an a##.
Sarah was last because she's a wonderful person.
Sarah was last because she's a wonderful person.
Awesome !!!!!!
The Ruins I can see it if you're Syrus, but in the same light I'd love to really get the details between that cross team alliance Brad had with Kenny and Evan that Wes wrote about. Was Brad throwing missions to ensure a spot in the finals? I find it odd that he stated he was sending in Casey when he had the chance and later changed his mind to Brianna, did Evan and Kenny have a say?
There is a Daily clip where Evan explains to Susie that even if the Challengers win, the Champion team still controls their deliberations. Given that Brad voted in Briana over Casey, in spite of his obvious desire to get rid of Casey, it pretty much seems like a given that he sold out his team in exchange for his bank account and a free pass to the finals. I don't think Brad agreed to throw challenges, since he seemed surprised and exceedingly unhappy to find himself with only $2k in his bankroll at the end of the Challenge, with little hope of winning the finals.

It's funny too, I could see one of Evan or Kenny losing to Brad in the Muy Thai Ruins had he not disqualified himself. So many things could have turned out differently on that challenge.
I think the biggest issue with Brad at this point is how he always makes himself out to be the nice guy.
BINGO. It's the holier than thou attitude that is irritating. I don't understand why it's so hard for other people to figure it out. ...and LOL @ molds...I had to check the username twice because I thought a certain board member was promoted
When has Brad actually acted as if he is holier than thou?
Today's dailies explain where the term 'not gay Ty' that Chet, Brandon and some others were throwing around came from.
When has Brad actually acted as if he is holier than thou?
Oh course it has nothing to do with religion but it's the fact that he thinks he's a good person (which he is) and the good guys should win at the end, yet he plans to throw Brandon in every time. If he really was a good person, wouldn't he say, "You know what, Brandon sent Derek home, lets give him a break. Chet, Tyler or Dunbar go in there and take someone out." Personally, I don't have a problem with his gameplay. It is a game, but he shouldn't say that good guys deserve to win. The player who played the best game will and should win. He should refer to himself a good guy that deserves to win and turn around a play a dirty game. Someone who is holier that thou has that same mentality/mannerism.
I like the Dan daily today where he talks about it not being about the money for him.
A few of them are saying it this Challenge, like Paula who has said its only about the win for her.
A few of them are saying it this Challenge, like Paula who has said its only about the win for her.
I think for many or most it is about the money. It is just nice to hear someone articulate something different.
Ty in today's daily: Such an upstanding individual... -_-
Katie: "The next day, I walked like I've been ****ed in the *** for a week." BAHAHAHAHAHAHA. She's too funny.
Ty in today's daily: Such an upstanding individual... -_-
I just waiting for the day where he actually gets into it with another guy. I'm tired of this Ty vs women B.S. If he's really bad he should start something with Brad, Derrick or Johnny.
Ty really takes it over the edge, but I feel like a lot of guys have the same issue. They pull some prank and think it's funny. If the girl doesn't laugh, she's a cold ***** with no sense of humor. Then, when a prank gets pulled on them, they get all ****** off like the joke isn't funny.
Oh lord these Dailies are entertaining. The one with the Gulag, watching that made it seem even more like Ty just would've rather have laid on the ground than compete, at least Brandon got him a water, what a sport. Also, I love Jenn: "You have two people on your team who know what they're doing, their names are Brandon and Camila". I did like the red team's group dance though, mainly just Camila. I loved the Cara Maria/Abe one too, but only because at the beginning they're just talking and then you see the red team running in the background lol. "Go red!" Poor Derrick, yet funnt at the same time. And finally, Vinny's a barber? lol Didn't see that one coming.
Jenn vs Paula <333333 I love Jenn, she is such a fiesty girl. She reminds me of a girl version of...well....me. I also love how Paula acts all big and bad around the other girls, but when someone with a bigger mouth than hers confronts her, she turns into a bascket case.
Dunbar is SOOO obsessed by Johnny.
