It will be interesting to read what he has to say about the Adam fight. That was pretty intense. I always wondered if it had something to do with Coral since Abram loves her so much and she and Adam allegedly had a thing at one point.

That took place during the filming of Back To New York but was never caught on camera, right? Didn't Coral try to hide the fact that they had something going on but either Nicole or Rachel busted them in the B2NY book or something along those lines? God, I miss when they used to release a book along with each season. It added so much to the season and let you get to know the cast SO much better. :(
AB: I dont care to see anybody come back - I don't watch the shows. But I do love competing against Derrick. I will say that I miss the old cats I used roll with back in the day - I don't know who any of these new kids are.
Love the friendship between him and Derrick, my two favorite Road Rulers.
I had the road rules island book and it is so true, it even mentions the lost crab mission.
Yep!!!! I had bought all the books BMP/MTV released but as of now I only still have three or four of them. I don't know how I lost all the rest but I wish I would have kept them. Every now and then I'll see them for sale in used book stores for about a dollar so I grab them. I was SO bummed when I found out they had discontinued making the books after the Paris season. :( I know that one of the main reasons they discontinued the books and the DVDs was because of the low ratings (and probably book and DVD sales) for the Paris season but I think if they had just given it one more chance and released a book and DVD for the San Diego season the sales would have picked up and maybe we'd still have them. San Diego was such an amazing season and I really do believe people would have purchased the books and given them a reason to continue publishing them.
Ill have it up next week he talked about Coral and much other things so give me some time:D.
Good work scoring that interview. This is why I have so much respect for that kid. spot on about Laurel also!!
The one reason I think Cara Maria is as real as she claims to be, is because Abe seems like the type of guy who can see through fakeness a mile away.
How long did he and Coral date and when did it end?

He answered these with the first set of questions I had previously asked him. I'll be doing part two this week. 11. In one of the dailies on Cutthroat (don't think you have seen them) but Jenn compliments you and then totally flips on you calling you a *******. What was that about? What made her react like that? AB: I have not seen it- but I remember it. She was drunk and sloppy and picking a fight- she was getting ****** because I would not argue with her....I have seen cast members literally get all dolled up and then go start a fight with someone and hope that a camera catches it...it's pretty pathetic...I don't think that was what Jenn was doing that time though- she was just drunk. 12. Give me your thoughts on the following people: Chet, Dunbar, Jenn, and Coral. AB: Don't have any thoughts on Chet- but he has shown himself to be a liar. Funny as **** though. I can not say enough good about Dunbar. You should hear his stories- one of my favorite guys. He is an entreprenuer and a great writer- you will be watching one of his screenplays on the tv in the next ten years, and it will be a cult classic. He doesn't try and be anything other than who he is. Jenn is hit or miss- super volatile- sometimes really cool, next screaming and cussing at me and acting like she's the coolest person on the planet- when it's her good side though, she is actually really pleasant. Coral puts all the others to shame- I have never met anyone, man or woman, as fierce, loving, and intelligent. She is rare as she is wonderful. 13. Your thoughts on the FM1-2 cast? what was your reaction when you saw Camila there? AB: I dont think much of any of these newer cast members- (except Cara Maria of course). Camila showing up from some beach party in Mexico or something like that (not exactly sure) goes to show what they are looking for with these shows.....they just are not what they used to be. 14. Anybody you would love to see make a Challenge comeback? AB: I couldn't care less. 15. Are you working on a second book? What else do you have going on? AB: I actually have several other major fictions I have been working on for a number of years. Not kids books though, novels for adult readers. I also am putting out my art and sculpture in galleries and online for sale at bigartmarket.com. My primary profession is an artist and writer, but I only work on that in my spare time, my full time work will be to keep The Sun House, Villas and Golf Course running and growing simultaneously I work as a zip-line and whitewater guide at Paradise Adventure....I am hoping to start a new adventure guide tv series- Abe's Adventures....as well as a few movie scripts I have been working on with a few of my brothers. 16. Any regrets on anything you have done on these shows?. AB: Why bother with regret....so no. 17. The Cutthroat previews: a lot of them show us CT and Tina being brought into The Challenge. We know you can't speak on what happen and we will respect that. However what was your initial thought when you saw them? How was the cast's reaction? Did any of you have any idea? AB: I am always worried they are going to pull some lame twist and screw you over for all your work. That's what I was thinking when I saw CT- never trust those ******** until you cash the check at the bank. 18. Anything you want to get off your chest? AB: I tried pretending to be angry on the show a few times---but I never was---I was bored out of my mind.
Awesome. Thanks for posting. It's funny, but I was actually wondering the other day if he would do something like write a novel, and that's what he's doing. Probably would be interesting. Jenn does seem like she's hit or miss on these shows, so I think I should view her as that and try to appreciate the good times shown of her more, because she is more interesting than most of the people cast these days. Aw, and very sweet what he said about Coral. Interesting about Dunbar as well.
Lol loved his last answer.
Abram now has a formspring..thanks to CaraMaria so any questions left out, you can ask them there. He has already answered a few about Miz, Evan, Kenny,Coral...
OMG He said that the challenges were better with the old vets. I can't argue with him on that.
Abram has been echoing a lot of things that I've been saying lately...that the Challenges don't seem as fun anymore, and the castmembers are not as interesting. It seems like he didn't enjoy his time on Cut Throat, hopefully that doesn't mean this is his last Challenge, because he's a very interesting guy.
I think Abram's a bit whiny.. I mean he has been on only 2 of the last 6 challenges(if you count The Island, where he was gone pretty quick), so I think it's a bit hard for him to judge on this matter.
Yup and he's only interacted with how many of the FMers on these? Kenny, Ev, Ryan, Eric, Laurel, CaraMaria, Mandi, Vinny,Luke. Although people usually just hate the First FMers so it just be Kenny,Ev,Eric and Ryan.
It's just a general feeling people usually have, that everything was better in the old days. This goes for the castmembers as well. In a couple of years, when only a few of the Fresh Meaters from Fresh Meat 1 are still doing challenges(let's say Kenny, Evan,), they will probably say that the Challenges were more fun in the old days(which will be from Fresh Meat till now). Bottom line is if you don't participate in any challenge for a while and then you come back, you just don't know as many people as you used to. So it's pretty logical that you will find the challenges less amusing when that happens. Sorry if my English isn't 100% okay:P, I'm from the Netherlands and this was pretty hard to write down:P
I still enjoy the Challenges, bescause quite honestly its just mindless fun. I dont expect to get anything but enjoyment out watching the show and it never fails. Sure some are hit or miss, but in general the show is fun. I dont like Abram's, "the shows aren't worth watching comment" it seems sort of self-righteousand hypocritical cause if its not worth watching then why participate especially if you are expecting to promote your stuff on it? Abe is a cool dude and a great guy to watch on the show, but that just came off a little weird.
Indeed, he's been given the opportunity by BMP to promote all his stuff, then as a thank you he tears apart the challenges... I feel the same way as you do Entropy, I really like Abe, but he needs to remember where he got the opportunity to promote all his stuff and win money for his projects. He's not very grateful.
For everyone who wonders why people who used to be on when the show was open and fun won't come back and do it anymore, read this interview. You can't tell me Veronica didn't feel exactly the same way on The Ruins.
Then she shouldn't have come back in the first place. It's very easy to choose for something, a golden opportunity many people would like to have, and then afterwards talk **** about it.

He's right about how the show and the quality of it have changed.

I never said he has to praise the challenges as a "thank you very much for inviting me back". What I was trying to say, was that he at least could show a bit of respect towards BMP by not completely tearing the show apart... And don't forget he never watches the show and he has only been on 2 of the last 6 challenges, so on what exactly is he basing his opinion?

I do kinda think he's right. I mean let's be honest can you really say that today's challengers are interesting and/or original? like the challengers of yesteryear?
I personally find them just as amusing as the older challenges. Things have changed, that is correct, and with change come good changes and bad changes. Personally for me, I also believe there are a little too much drama queens these days. But on the other hand, the missions have become more extreme and I really like that. + the fact that the producers have come up with some great new formats, like the Ruins(the teams were far from even, but I think the format's good) and Cutthroat. EDIT: I read challenges instead of challengeRs in the post above me. Doesn't really matter but in case you wondered

EDIT: I read challenges instead of challengeRs in the post above me. Doesn't really matter but in case you wondered
See I respectfully disagree on some of your points. Yes the challenges have become more extreme but In my eyes that hurt the challenges because it seems like if you aren't this big built athletic person you don't have a chance in **** to win and I think that's one reason why the same people keep on winning. As from drama queens...I don't think there's ENOUGH drama on these shows. There doesn't seem to be any real conflict. We don't really get real genuine bunring hatred like Katie and Veronica, Puck and Ellen, Julie and Coral, and Puck and David. THAT'S the drama that these shows need. Not these weak little fights caused by Booze and ***. The Formats-That I agree with you but I do think that The Ruins and The Island could use some tweaking but Cutthroat is A-OK and I'm kinda hoping for another Battle of The Seasons. But Yeah I'm still with Abe on what he said.
I sometimes wonder if it was more like there is a chance on any given week for any given player to pocket some money beyond their appearance fees without the big winners take all format then if maybe the dynamics would change a little and people would stop with the faux drama so much. I f the winner of an elimination round were to get say $10K guaranteed then maybe there would be less ****** politics and more time for the other things people think are missing--just chilling and the lot.
You're stating it like it is a fact that Abram is right. Wrong for you, cause it's an opinion!
This is a forum; nothing should be viewed as a fact unless it's something like "this person did/said this" and there's something to support the claim. It's pretty obvious Abe was stating his opinion on how the show has changed and I happened to agree with him. Even "in your personal opinion" were the first few words in the question. I don't know how anyone could look at earlier seasons, even the first FM, then look at the current and think little to nothing has changed.
I never said he has to praise the challenges as a "thank you very much for inviting me back". What I was trying to say, was that he at least could show a bit of respect towards BMP by not completely tearing the show apart...
As a veteran he was asked how he thought the show has changed since he first appeared. He simply gave his honest opinion on the topic. He also said he gets a good amount of money from the shows and it gives some publicity to his projects. Both are positive things that came from his participation in the Challenge. There's good and bad in everything and he shouldn't have to censor himself from stating an honest opinion on the progression of the show.
And don't forget he never watches the show and he has only been on 2 of the last 6 challenges, so on what exactly is he basing his opinion?
Uh, the fact he's been on 3, if we're counting Cutthroat, of the past several challenges? Do you really think he has to be an avid fan/viewer of the show to notice the changes when he's actually in the house? He also stated that he "really hated the show for a while" peaking during The Island. I forget, when did BMP start restricting activities like internet and weekends out of the house?
Has part 2 been posted yet?
Has part 2 been posted yet?
No. I am wondering if it could have something to do with questions asked being based on spoilers. Abram does have a Formspring - he's answered over 300 questions (he said he was trying to answer them all). I have asked him several questions, and he's answered them all. I think most of what you could ask him has been asked and answered on there (though he hasn't answered any in two weeks). I think I've asked him whatever I could think of, or someone beat me to the punch, or they thought of something interesting that I hadn't.
