Cutthroat: Real World/ Road Rules Challenge - Speculation (Spoilers)

Well if its a speed Gulag then it shouldn't be embarrasing cause I think Tyler maybe faster than Derrick, plus as I said in another thread Derrick is older than he was during the other Challenges when he went into elimination rounds, while he isnt OLD he is older and no matter what training will scrape years away. Lets see what the elimination round is like before we can say if its embarrassing or not.

Good for Tyler. I am kind of happy we will see him flip when he gets voted in 2 times in a row.

Either way I'm gonna be surprised if it's anything other than a puzzle. I don't consider Tyler anywhere near as good as Derrick so I'll be completely surprised if Derrick loses to him in anything physical. Abram was the only person on this challenge I would've rightfully accepted Derrick losing to.

I was also wondering if CT let Tyler win, knowing Johnny would go home. Any thoughts?

I think thats something none of us can safely comment on till we actually see it. Sure some will probably have an opinion on both sides of the spectrum but it will just be conjecture.

One thing that came up though was that CT and Tina may have been told by the producers that they had to try for both or they wouldn't have gotten paid for doing it or something along these lines. Of course, that doesn't stop him from trying a lot harder against Johnny, which I think is probably what happened.

I'm not surprised Derrick got beat by Tyler. I don't think it's an embarrassment just that Derrick hasn't competed in an actual one on one elimination round since beating Davis on the Inferno 3 and he's probably a bit rusty. I wouldn't even underestimate Tyler either. Tyler's only lost in "Ascender", which was actually to Derrick (should be a great rematch) and "Force Field" to Frank for which he put up somewhat a good fight, just didn't have the right strategy.

This Challenge is starting to remind me of Battle of the Sexes 2 with some shocking eliminations from people we are used to seeing reach the finals.

So Derrick loses to Tyler, this upsets me. It better be something mental, cause physical Tyler doesn't stand a chance.

I think the elimination that Tyler beats Derrick in is the one where they pull each other and knock down the barrel down.

Well Emilee, let me tell you this, if you read this, I personally don't find it impossible for a gay man to be "better" than a straight one. I do however consider Derrick better at these games than Tyler, their sexualities aside. Not once did I take Tyler's sexuality into consideration when discussing him beating Derrick, because it doesn't matter. I don't think Tyler's worse than Derrick because he's gay, I think he's worse than Derrick because Derrick's a beast, has partaken in far more challenges, has wins under his belt, and has beaten Tyler before. Sorry you felt that I, and others, were putting Tyler's ability down because he's gay, but you're greatly mistaking.
