I've seen every RW season and I actually liked Cancun lol. I'm also a person who liked Jonna and...Trisha:blush: And you can watch the SBC here: Spring Break 2010 | Videos | MTV
Jonna is OK in my book, but TRISHA!? lol Thanks for the link! Oh, and this is RIDICULOUS: YouTube - Spring Break Challenge: Camilla's Complete Meltdown.
I hate the "throw in the rookies" mentality first. To me, the people who are 0-5, 0-6, etc. should be the ones going in to prove that they're not chronic losers.
Danny from the Real World Austin, even though he isn't on Cutthroat. He probably has the worst elimination record ever (0-5). Great episode and looking foward to a great season. C'mon Blue Team needs to step it up cause I am rootin for them. And why in the world is Johny screaming at Derrick trying to act like he is leading the team. He obviously screwed it up for his team.. by not getting the numbers fast enough. I am not liking the Johny I am seeing this season, since there is no JEK in total.. I think he is trying to act like he is better than Derrick.
Yeah, Laurel was being silly. If someone doesn't want to wrestle, leave them alone. She shouldn't wonder why people don't like her...
I think she just wanted to play wrestle like the guys do all the time. Shauvon took it as some serious business, real deal challenge.
It could be worse.. at least D.C. isn't their favorite!
I actually liked D.C. I think I'm one of the few. I think it's just because I really really really liked the cast as a whole.
I think she just wanted to play wrestle like the guys do all the time. Shauvon took it as some serious business, real deal challenge.
Yeah, but a lot of girls don't like to do that. I certainly wouldn't want to play wrestle. She doesn't have to wrestle if she doesn't want to. I think Laurel wanted to roll around with her. She made comments about her ***** and hair when Shauvon was upset with her about trying to wrestle.
Anyone else feel like Shauvon is going to have Tonya melt down? If she couldn't handle Laurel drunk...
Will they have opening credits?, like the music and names ? I didnt see one this episode?
Yeah they will BMP even tweeted a picture of what it looks like, there was a hummer limo, the house and some red stars coming from behind the house, orange sky.
Will they have opening credits?, like the music and names ? I didnt see one this episode?
Good Question, I didn't really recognize that. I think they should have one, like a war theme with 3 teams attacking each other would be pretty cool. I also like the way this episode started with the teams running to the Gulag.
So Katie is studying criminal law... okay I guess I can see it. Dunbar is doing ****... yep definitely can see that. But Abram is writing children's books? Um.... what? Oh and Paula and Sarah still suck so at least that hasn't changed. And Theresa sucks too. I am not proud to say I she and I share a college.
Cancun was your favorite season!? Was it also the first one you watched? lol
Actually, no.
Thoughts about the premiere: I really did like the premiere. The Gulag looks pretty scary and I can just see the intense eliminations that will be headed our way throughout the season. I was very happy that the eliminations were not so one sided on this episode. I'll admit that I was thinking Brandon was gonna just destroy Derek but I was very happy that Derek did so well. It seemed he was giving Brandon a run for his money. Although Brandon won, I swear to God i saw him use 2 hands to pull away one of the rings when TJ was saying you can only use one hand but whatever. I honestly hate Theresa. Shes not hot, shes not funny, shes bad drama, and shes a sucky competitor. Basically that means she just shouldn't be here. Shes a waste of space. I would take Casey over her boring ***. At least Casey has those stupid one liners that make me laugh rather than Theresa acting as if shes the bomb since she was screwing the 2 stars in the house last season. That hoe has got to go. From the dailies I can just tell I will again not like Vinny since he is a baby and sucks at competitions. I was shocked no one voted for Tyler into the Gulag after how bad he did on the first challenge. Im pretty sure the intro will be shown next week because on Fresh Meat 2 they did the same thing. I guess when there are no predetermined teams they don't show the intro the first episode because the teams are not already made. Im interested in figuring out how they do the Gulag choices because since some of them are done more than once. Maybe we will find out next time. Hope next week is good.
Finally, they put the original season of the cast members in their confessionals again..
I was really pleased with this too for some reason!
Pretty good episode, I thought. Production obviously made an effort to really change a few things and make it a bit less formulaic. I would have liked to see more of the race at the beginning. The first 3 male picks were strange, definitely, with the exception of Emilee picking Johnny--that was actually intelligent. The first 3 female picks were much more understandable, which makes me wonder if Camila and Shauvon were being guided by the men they had just picked. I wasn't a fan of Theresa on the last challenge, and I'm still not.
I thought this was really boring. But ****, some people try way too hard. Laurel and Teresa (I didn't watch Fresh Meat 2, so I know nothing about them), and Shauvon were so desperate for screen time. It's kind of pathetic and I feel so embarrassed for people like Tori who seem to have a good head on their shoulders. Why would you want to associate yourself with that?

I honestly thought the episode, as a whole, was boring. The Challenge and Gulog were entertaining, but I am already over Theresa, Laurel, Shavoun and Paula's antics. Although, Laurel didn't get a lot of screen time, she was just as annoying as everyone else once she popped on the screen. I am still ****** they picked Camila, and I don't think she deserved a spot on the cast, but I didn't find her nearly as annoying as I thought I would.
I thought it was a fun episode. Definately rooting for the Blue Team, as Derrick and Johnny are on it. But God... Please just get people like Theresa and Laurel out of there! They have done 1 challenge so now they're all cocky and think they can pick on the new rookies(Camila), when in fact, they're still rookies themselves! As for the competitive side: Abram did great on the team mission, really guided his team to victory. In the eliminiation round, both Brandon and Camila did great(although I would like to see them against some real competition).
They need to get Theresa out of there! But she will probably be back for a ton more challenges because people are talking about her. She is making good t.v. I can not stand people who pick on others for the pure entertainment value of it.
I’ve been waiting for this thing to start and after yesterday’s episode it did not disappoint…Right off the bat I loved how they put the season where each competitor was from when they did their little confessionals…I haven’t seen MTV do that since the Gauntlet 2…However I was little upset they only show it once…Just show it every time a cast member does a confessional…Anyways the challenge format, rules, prizes, missions and house are simply amazing…BMP really went big with season twenty…There are still so many surprises and twists coming…Also loved seeing some cast members who we’ve not seen in a while…Abram is still kickass and no doubt will be the gray team leader throughout the entire challenge, However I’m not sure what’s up with his hair and the tattoos he got done on his arm lol…Also good to see Dan and Big Easy make some good life changes…And lastly Tori and especially Melinda look as beautiful as ever…Brad’s one lucky guy and man Danny what did you do to screw up your marriage lol... BTW why couldn't Derek and espeacially Emille won their elimination round…The more “Fresh Meaters” and now Spring Break people out the better …However I kind of grown to accept the Fresh Meat people even though I want none of them on the show, but as for the Spring Break people I hope this is the first and last time we see any of those kids on this show…Bottom line is that you have to be either from the RW, RR, or FM shows to participate in a challenge
I wonder why Tori & Brad wanted to be on the same team. It increases their chances of winning $$ if they are on separate teams. I wonder if there will be any Dan/Tori interaction. Good 1st episode. I too, hate laurel & theresa & am praying that someone (preferably a weak girl) sends them both home. I'm curious as to how the CT/Tina thing is introduced. I'm thinking that they won't be typical replacements for injured or kicked off players, but something else.
I wonder why Tori & Brad wanted to be on the same team. It increases their chances of winning $$ if they are on separate teams.
It would give them a better shot of one of them winning the final money, yes, but maybe they were willing to gamble in the hopes that they could both take home a piece of the big winnings. Additionally, I imagine it's nicer for them to work together to try to win than to compete against each other. Finally, it gives them a two person voting block on their team, which affords them both some extra protection.

It would've been hilarious if right after he won his Gulag, that Brandon would've taken out a beer and drank it. ---------- Finally was able to see the episode and I liked it. Didnt see much ego on Laurel and Sarah's part from what I was expecting to see, I still dislike Sarah. Theresa...what did she ever accomplish, and by Challenge rules she is still a rookie. The first mission was interesting, and I like the teams. I see the Blue team going the way of the "Miracle" analogy..it is basically an all star team, but all star teams fail because everyone wants to be the star. Brandon is gonna really shine this season I can just see it, he proved he is tough with the Gulag as did Camila. Loved how the season preview finished with CT's evil laugh. The season looks really good.
My thoughts: 1) I hated the cold open. Some setup would've been nice. Stuff like that drives away casual viewers. 2) Since no one answered, yes, Dunbar made a ***** for Playboy. Derrick tweeted the link a few days ago. From the tweets I saw about it I've gathered that he's unimpressive. 3) What on earth did Tori do to be the first girl drafted? I'd have gone Laurel, Paula, Sarah, Emily, Cara Maria and maybe even Mandi before Tori. (same question for picking Jenn 3rd - yeah she always makes it really far but that's because she's good at avoiding the elimination rounds). 4) Putting people in a "gas chamber" when your only maybe 20 miles from the Terezin Concentration Camp was classless. Yes, its still too soon. 5) It was fun watching different people's reactions to the tear gas. I still wish that they had more fun moments instead of drama/dark moments. 6) I like challenges at the beach, or on a crane, in the daylight. No more of this tee-shirts and wetsuits and pitch black backdrops, please. yes its edgy. Its also bad television. 7) Is it bad that Johnny seems like one of the most likable cast members this year? C-. Fell way short of expectations for me. I'm still excited for it though, maybe out of loyalty.
