Lol I love Abe, "Ill do my best to encourage that dumb *** idea"
Cara Marie is hot.
Cara Marie is hot.
If you think she's hot, you should probably at least attempt to get her name right ;)
Names don't matter :D
It does if you want a chance! ;)
The episode was great. I liked: 1) the race with bags in the beginning 2) the gas chamber challenge 3) secret vote I disliked 1) Seeing [strike]Emily[/strike] Emilee go 2) Theresa 3) elimination round (this one was very similar to a face-off on the Island, pole wrestle on the Duel and Kim vs Susie battle on the Ruins.)
It does if you want a chance! ;)
I would be scared to have sex with her. I don't want a chance. LOL
I think Darrell messed it up in FM2 for a lot of people. He was always calling her "Care-uh Marie" even though her name is Car-uh Maria".
Damn!! Cara Maria looks much hotter in the video than in the pictures they took.
I have to say, I love the new aftershow format. Its more intimate and it gives us better insights by episode than say the reunions cause they have to get in 9 to 10 episodes in about an hour.
So there is no intro this season?
I honestly thought the episode, as a whole, was boring. The Challenge and Gulog were entertaining, but I am already over Theresa, Laurel, Shavoun and Paula's antics. Although, Laurel didn't get a lot of screen time, she was just as annoying as everyone else once she popped on the screen. I am still pissed they picked Camila, and I don't think she deserved a spot on the cast, but I didn't find her nearly as annoying as I thought I would.
I will kill you in your face!!!
Read a few pages back, yes there will be an intro, BMP posted a preview picture on twitter yesterday and as I described it, the single frame shows a hummer limo, the house, 3 red stars behind the house, and the sky is orange.
So there is no intro this season?
On episode one they don't usually show the intro just the logo like in Fresh Meat 2 then in Episode 2 you saw the intro. So we will see the intro in Ep.2 .
Does anyone have the episode 2 sneak peak on youtube? I can't get any mtv.com videos to work for some reason.
My thoughts: 1) I hated the cold open. Some setup would've been nice. Stuff like that drives away casual viewers. 2) Since no one answered, yes, Dunbar made a ***** for Playboy. Derrick tweeted the link a few days ago. From the tweets I saw about it I've gathered that he's unimpressive. 3) What on earth did Tori do to be the first girl drafted? I'd have gone Laurel, Paula, Sarah, Emily, Cara Maria and maybe even Mandi before Tori. (same question for picking Jenn 3rd - yeah she always makes it really far but that's because she's good at avoiding the elimination rounds). 4) Putting people in a "gas chamber" when your only maybe 20 miles from the Terezin Concentration Camp was classless. Yes, its still too soon. 5) It was fun watching different people's reactions to the tear gas. I still wish that they had more fun moments instead of drama/dark moments. 6) I like challenges at the beach, or on a crane, in the daylight. No more of this tee-shirts and wetsuits and pitch black backdrops, please. yes its edgy. Its also bad television. 7) Is it bad that Johnny seems like one of the most likable cast members this year? C-. Fell way short of expectations for me. I'm still excited for it though, maybe out of loyalty.
I too expected a little more. The end was good imo because I like phyical elimination rounds. I will say that I too would have picked Tori first because I think all around, she is the best female athelete there. Picking Jenn early though, I was baffled because she's not really that good to me and she is unreliable when it comes to trust, she is a red flag! Laurel is OK, but she did nothing spectacular on FM from an individual effort to prove herself to me yet. She did well in a lot of the FM challenges, but most were team driven. Individually, I saw her get manhandled by Evelyn and suck wind during the Final Challenge. Paula is too much of a paranoia case and is also non trustworthy. Sarah would have been a good first pick. Mandi, i don't think so. Yeah, I too did expect more during the episode, but all in all it was better than most openings I've seen in a while. The thing that I was impressed with the most was the monster edit they gave CT when they were previewing the season to come. "They better be afraid because I'm coming!" They made CT look like King Kong and whoever that guy was he was pulling, man I feel sorry for them. The firery flames during the preview of CT in the gulag was classic!

Thanks everyone ! ;)
Damn!! Cara Maria looks much hotter in the video than in the pictures they took.
I agree, I definitely noticed from the first time they did a confessional this episode. Her eyes looked amazing and I like her hair when it's kinda messy like she usually has it.
I would say Tori was picked first because of Camila who was doing the picking. I mean Camila picked Dunbar first. Dunbar. Who knows what was going through her head because I'm sure anyone else would have gone for someone completely different. I doubt she knew what she was doing.
According to the podcast he was on, he asked production and they said it'd be cool if he showed more personality, it's pretty nice IMO.
He waited this long to ask about showing personality? I wish he would have done that years/seasons ago.
I really liked this episode!!! I haven't enjoyed a premiere this much since Gauntlet 2 :)
If I was on the show I would've easily picked Laurel, Jenn, and Tori as the first three girls. Even Derrick said on one of the podcasts, she's a hell of an athlete, a D1 softball player, and very strong. Jenn's good in missions too and very fierce and aggressive. Them being picked so early was no surprise to me at all.
I wouldve picked Katie a little earlier in the pecking order. Kinda sucks she was the last girl
Paula looks and sound so damn OLD. And I was hoping Camille would lose her face-off since she has no Buisness there IMO. And I was glad that Brandon won but only because I don't care all that much for Derek. Nice to see Abram again and Brad aswell but Tori could've stayed home. I like this secret ballot rule. Now nobody in this challenge has no excuse to think for themselves and play this game. None of them need to be handing this game over to anybody and allowing others to dictate and win. All in all a nice premiere.
I like how people say..so and so don't deserve to be there, thats BMP's call not ours.
As a fan whose seen every single challenge since Challenge 1998, I can say that this season looks like the most promising in awhile. It looks like it's going to be very intense. I thought the premiere was great. I found the drama to be very entertaining. I much enjoy watching the dynamics that go on in the house as opposed to the challenges.

All in all a nice premiere.
I don't like the secret ballot rule because it further disguises alliances in my opinion. The voting is similar to that of a Big Brother or Survivor, but there is collaborations occuring. The problem I see is with each team of 10, all you need is 5 people to control the vote. For example ............... Johnny, Derrick, Jenn, Ty, and let's say Emily could all have a pact to send in Eric everytime because they think he will slow them down......... all the secret vote does is avoid a confrontation with an alliance. I do like the fact that a cross team alliance would be alot harder to manipulate given there is 3 teams as opposed to 2 which would make teams think twice.
Yeah but as Derrick said..it could be even shadier. Say you have Johnny, Derrick, Ty, Emily all agreeing to vote in Eric..but instead.. Derrick, Ty, Emily all vote in Johnny..he'd never know..
Just saw the episode and there really wasn't much to it to me. Only thing I can really say is that Abram did a great job getting the win for his team. He handled the gas chamber real well too. He's always been a leader. Surprisingly Johnny hasn't done anything to bother me yet. And I am very excited for CT. Only thing is, why does he have to wear those tiny short?
