Ahhh, okay. I'm not the biggest fan of predictable and I'm sure not too many people are. That probably would have been more interesting in all aspects, but I also think some of the Challengers should have been others as well.
Yes. Casey and Shauvon in particular. Aneesa should have been on the Challengers team over either of them.
13: Fresh Meat 2 + Kenny vs Wes, The Scheming, Theresa Luvs Kenny... I mean Wes, Good challenges. - Unexiting cast, Kenny vs Wes, Stupid Gameplay, Some dull episodes
Good challenges.. seriously. This challenge season had some of the worst missions to date. The only average ones were Dirty Mouth and Wrecking Ball, but Obstacle was great. Everything else was pure garbage.
It's good in theory, but who knows if Alton and Coral are still interested in doing challenges.
Coral - I am pretty sure she is done. Alton - In this thread was mentioned a couple of times that he wanted to be on another challenge. So yes, possibly means we might see Alton.. which is great.
My problem with The Ruins is that the concept had a lot of potential, and the casting was flawed. While I applaud production for bringing back Syrus, Darrell, and Veronica after long absences, casting Johnny, Evan, and Kenny together on the same team (after we had seen them all together as teammates on Gauntlet 3) was a huge mistake. It made The Ruins too annoying and predictable. I could have done without Johanna and Ibis as well, considering they won their Challenges by default and they did nothing but blindly follow JEK. I just think that if you take away JEK, Johanna, and Ibis from the Champions team and replace them with, say, Abram, Alton, Landon, Coral, and Rachel, and I think you have a more well-executed season that a lot of us old-school enthusiasts would have enjoyed. I wouldn't even have minded seeing one of JEK on that team, but three of them at a time is unbearable. We'll see how Johnny fares in his first go round as a lone wolf.
To me it was all about the challengers team. It's been stated a million times (at least half by me) but it was so unbalanced. You have Evan, Darrell, Wes, Derrick, Kenny, Johnny, Cyrus (I ordered them from strongest to weakest in my opinion, not really trying to debate them at the moment either) vs Brad, Dunbar, Adam, Cohutta, Chet, Danny, Nick (ordered strongest to weakest again) but even though Brad is the strongest of the challengers, he'd be between Derrick and Kenny on the champions to me, and then Dunbar the next strongest would be below Cyrus. You knew it was gonna be a slaughter from the start.
Aneesa instead of Casey or Shauvon and CT instead of Chet or Nick would've been my picks. Aneesa isn't great at the missions but she would not have been the sole cause of the team's losing in any missions either. Switching Aneesa in wouldn't give so much of a boost to the Challengers' performances so that they would be winning every single mission, but it would be enough to equalize things out and more importantly, add a little bit more spice to the elimination rounds. After reviewing the episodes over, you can see that the presence of Casey and Shauvon is really, literally, the only reasons that the challenges kept losing over and over again. It's hard to believe that two dumb girls' presences could be so impactful. Chain Gang - Casey and Shauvon fall off Swing on By - Shauvon falls off Burning Bridge - Challengers were going to win this. They were in the lead until Casey's turn came. She singlehandedly destroyed the mission. Block Party - Casey alone didn't singlehandedly destroy this mission for the Challengers, but she was definitely a part of the reason, in addition to the weak guys. She was pulled off the pole and dragged to the finish line within a second, forcing KA to have to match the defense times of Veronica and Ibis. Not to mention she sucked in offense as well, I have no doubt she couldn't do jack to Veronica and Ibis. Sticking in Aneesa here could've made for a very entertaining mission. Can you imagine Ibis, Susie, and Johanna trying to drag Aneesa across the sand? Robin, Jenn, Aneesa, Paula or a slew of other women could've been good replacements for Casey or Shauvon. If not, they should've added a powerhouse male like CT to possibly bring balance to the game. The men on the Challengers were also severely lacking. I do believe though, that if the Challengers threw Casey into their one and only deliberation, the tides could've turned at that point.
Veronica made a come-back at the wrong time. The Ruins made her never want to do another challenge. I wish she would've waited and had appeared on Cutthroat instead!! Even though it hasn't even premiered yet, I feel like that would've been a better challenge for her. Especially since the whole JEK alliance isn't there.
If guys like CT had been available for that Challenge, to be on the Challengers side, and Casey had been left off..I think things would've been a little different..at least the Challengers would've won more. But something I brought up the other day, by the time they reached the finals the Challengers only had 2 people left..2 who had gone into the ruins so if they had been eliminated early, and all the Champions would've survived..would there have been a challenger team in the end?
I'm hoping that next season we can get people on that are a good mix of drama and comptiveness. Ashley(DC), Aneesa, Trishelle, Emilee, Ayiiia, Jemmye, Knight, Janelle, Joey (Cancun), Ruthie, Ryan, Tina, Erika, Rachel, Jonna, Dan(Viewers Revenge) Davis, Sandy, Kim, KallyAnne, Brianna and CT would all be great choices! I'm sure not all of them would do it, but it's at least worth trying :)

I wish I could she Trishelle again but I think The Inferno left a sour taste in her mouth about challenges, and Joey has his whole music thing going on (and his F*** MTV tattoo, lol). Adding to that list I would like to see Mike (DC), Ashlee (NOLA2), Sahar (to see how she would fair), Scott (Brooklyn) would be a hands down champion after maybe 2 shows and I would like to see Brittani (Hollywood) again.
I believe I remember hearing Trishelle wanted to do another one, so I wouldn't count her out. I forgot about Mike and Scott! I loved Sahar, but I don't think she'd do one. As for Ashlee, I could see her being the next Sarah/Svetlana/Brittini. Brittini is tough, so I wouldn't mind seeing her :)
We know Scott wants to do the Challenge thanks to the video he released on youtube last year, I'm surprised he isnt on CutThroat because he looked like a lock for a while.
Trishelle stated on her twitter she wants to do another one and that we should "tell" Bunim/Murray. Same with Katelynn, same with Kefla, and same with Aneesa.

The BMP only cast a maximum of 3 Road Rules *************) on challenges, ever since Fresh Meat. The only old school Road Rules male we could see in the future is Mark.

For one, it would've brought so much drama from The Inferno 3, and two, Ibis didn't bring anything to The Ruins. And they should've found someone more interesting than Syrus. It was cool seeing Syrus because he hadn't been on a challenge since The Gauntlet 2, but just like Ibis, he didn't bring anything.

I mean they DO surprise us every now and then (Jo/Susie- Gauntlet 2, Mark/Ruthie/Landon- Duel 2, Veronica/Ibis/Syrus/Darrell- The Ruins)
I wonder if they thought during The Ruins that each member of the team could easily be compared to another person and have the exact same capabilities. IE- Katie/Casey, Ibis/Shauvon, Brad/Evan.... no?
Thing is with people who have never done a Challenge, from say..Key West back, and Road Rules entirely...if they havent done one yet..I highly doubt they would do one now. Trishelle I could see her doing it, especially since she's working with Mark Long on the nakidreality thing but Kefla, he's never done one up to this point..so why would he?

I think a lot guys that start a family and stop sewing their "wild oats" still wanna feel young and capable and feel that the challenge is way of proving to themselves that they "still got it"
Katie is a way better competitor than Casey. She may suck at height missions but she isn't horrible like Casey at everything else.
Katie is a way better competitor than Casey. She may suck at height missions but she isn't horrible like Casey at everything else.
Very true. But Katie won't even try if she doesnt feel comfortable with it, lol. Casey almost always tries, but still sucks, lol.
[B]What? The Duel-Derrick Inferno 3- Timmy, Derrick, Abram Gauntlet 3- Derek The Island-Abram, Derrick, Dan The Duel 2-Mark, Derek The Ruins-Darrell, Derrick Fresh Meat 2-Darrell Cut Throat-Abram, Derrick, Dan Ever since Fresh Meat. And not to mention female Road Rulers..... The Island-Rachel Fresh Meat 2-Jillian Cut Throat-Katie, Tori
I don't get why on The Ruins, Evan talked about how there's a new generation of players and he included Susie as the new generation. He talked about how Veronica is an "old school cat". BUT Susie's show was in 1998 and Veronica's was in 1999. Susie, you could say is more old school than Veronica. I just find it odd how Rachel (Campus Crawl) could fit into the game after a long hiatus but people like Veronica and Syrus can't. Maybe it would've been different if Syrus and Veronica were on The Duel 2 rather than The Ruins.
Every season since The Island has had at least someone who was a big schock to everyone. Fresh Meat 2 is the only exception, but that season had a cery small veteran cast. The Island: Rachel The Duel 2: Ruthie, Mark, Landon The Ruins: Veronica, Syrus, Darrel, Ibis, Susie Cut Throat: Abram I'm hoping for season 21 our big shocker can be Trishelle or Tina. Of course, I'd love to see Coral back, but I think she over it.

I think a lot of Road Rulers just stopped doing them. They would never refuse Adam L., Abe, Katie, Timmy, Mark, Derrick, Rachel, Theo, Kina or Veronica (some of them wouldn't another challenge, but I am sure if they showed interest, BMP would put them on a challenge). I think Kefla would be great to be on a challenge. It would be refreshing, and it's always great to see a new face. The Ruins had Katie, Susie, Derrick, Ibis and Darell that's 5 Road Ruler's.
I think people forget with a lot of these old timers and some other newer cast members is they have regular jobs. I assume not all of them do the club circuit or own their own company where they can leave for a few months at a time. That's why I don't see a bunch of the people who haven't been on the show (in a long time or ever) coming back on. I wonder what would happen if they just took like the 15 best male and female challengers ever and did a "Hall of Fame" season with $1 million up for grabs for one male and one female. Here's the 15 guys I would pick (all in their primes): Alton, Evan, Kenny, CT, Frank, Derrick, Darrell, Johnny, Wes, Theo, Miz, Mark, Jamie Murray, Dan Renzi, Abram. It's kind of like matching up the old time NFL greats with the new ones. Could an in his prime Miz go up against CT? What about Dan Renzi? He was very successful in his Challenges, but he's definitely smaller than a lot of other guys are now.

My top 15 hall of hame competitors would be: Mark CT Timmy Alton Dan(RR5) Theo V Miz Landon Darrell Abram Derrick Jamie(RW:New Orleans) Wes Christian(RR2) Colin All in their primes, it's really hard to tell who would win, but Mark, CT, Timmy, and Darrell would be the top dogs in terms of brute strength.... and but competitors like Dan, Colin, Jamie and Christian are highly skilled and could take out anyone of those guys in a event that wasn't purely based on strength.
