If anyone here has Facebook we all need to make a post advertising I Love Money 4 airing on Thursday. Even without Vh1 advertising this show I am betting it will be the highest rated show on the network in quite sometime.
This is why I never watched any of their "new" shows that they were trying to feed us. I always had hope that if their ratings were pathetic enough (and they were) that Vh1 would wake up & air this.
Yep! Advertise it EVERYWHERE you can. And also - whoever has twitter help make #ILoveMoney4 a trending topic. People are planning to get that trend rolled out about an hour before it airs, and want to keep it up there during the one hour it airs to let millions of people know that it is airing. It'll definitely help it get viewers.
Only 2 more days! Wow! Finally we will see something refreshing on VH1.

I am not too familiar with Twitter so how do you make it a trending topic? I want to help out but am not sure how to do it.

To start a hashtag, you usually should have a lot of followers, or, like in our case, a lot of people with the same interest. There's an #ILoveMoney4 hashtag, but that's pretty long. No one has started an #ILM4 hashtag, so I just sent out a couple tweets using it. Let's see if either one picks up and becomes a trending topic.

Yeah, I told someone on twitter to tell their followers to use the #ILoveMoney4 hashtag instead of the #ILM4 hashtag because the non-diehard fans won't know what we're trying to trend.
Ehhhh I don't have that many followers on Twitter but will do it anyways. Anything to support ILM. I have a feeling it will easily wind up being Vh1's highest rated show of the fall.

That's true.

I agree because it's been long-awaited/expected and it's in high demand.

So you think that a show they are not advertising, that is without a web page or a DVR schedule listing that was quietly dumped outside of primetime with zero fanfare is somehow going to be the highest rated VH1 show of the fall?
VH1 might as well call it a great 25 years and pull the plug, if it is that bad, haha.

I haven't gone near VH1 since they cancelled I Love Money, but hasn't nearly all of their programming gone in the toilet? It shouldn't be that hard to beat most of that garbage on their schedule.

The only recent show that pulled in high numbers for them was the T.O. Show, averaging around 950,000 viewers per week. Both the T.O. Show and Ochocinco only broke the million viewers mark for their boring *** finales.
LOL @ your pic Mr.Bacchus lol im with you on that one. Im going to say that this show is going to pull nothing higher than a million viewers. With a 1.2@the season finale being the highest it pulls off during the season. R.I.P VH1!

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. It seems to me that VH1 has some interesting ideas up their sleeves, and I think their network is far from being taken off the air.
With them airing I Love Money 4; Heartbreaker, Danger, and other VH1 girls filming a reality roast; Brandi C and Megan both filming specials for VH1 (check Megan's twitter, she just tweeted that she finished filming a special for VH1 premiering Oct. 11); and Marcia and Frenchy saying they're filming a new show (no one knows if they're filming the same show or not), VH1 has to have something planned. Hopefully they're going to steamroll us all with both ILNY3 AND DOL2; both being a return to form of the pre-Summer of '09 VH1.

Yes I do think it will be Vh1's highest rated show of the fall. Have you taken a look at their show's ratings lately?
Oh & I don't know what DVR supplier you have but I Love Money is showing up on my scheduler. Set the entire season to record today.

I have Dish Network and it just says, "VH1 Special."
Ratings wise, I'm quite sure it is going to bomb as only "super fans" even know it is airing and VH1 is clearly embarrassed about the show or they'd, um...tell people it was airing? My guess is the only reason they are broadcasting it is to burn off a contractual agreement with 51 Minds (but that is pure speculation on my part.)
That said, I hope the super fans enjoy the show.
p.s. Just to get an idea of the internet buzz via search volume, take a look at google trends. That sums it up in a nutshell.

I have Time Warner Cable and it just shows that as well.

Well hopefully the twitter campaign a bunch of people (including cast members) have planned for Thursday succeeds in getting more viewers. Have to stay positive, am I right? :]

Oh, I agree. I just know the network isn't behind the show and would hate to see all of you disappointed. ;)
Well I have DirecTV & it shows up as I Love Money & as previously mentioned I had the option to record the entire season which I of course did.
First of all, no one here is going to "eat their words". I'm glad everyone is so excited to see a continuation of this **** show. I'm sure it'll make perfect sense since they, y'know, scrapped A WHOLE SEASON. We were wrong. WRONG I TELL YOU. Whoopdie do. Now let's move on.

Since you can speculate that they are trying to get out of a contractual obligation then I can speculate that Vh1 is just dying for ratings right now. In order to stop the bleeding they are going to ILM4. They desperately need a hit & they are going to air the show they are "embarassed" of.
I know this superfan will enjoy the show. :clapping:

Who said anything about eating words? Lol.
But see I was right "**** show"? What's with the hate? I know I don't pay threads any mind that discuss shows I hate.
Another good way for us to promote is to leave messages on boards. comingsoon.net & ew.com don't require accounts for you to post on their news stories. Plus, they're both entertainment sites. That's what I am planning to do on Thursday.

We should all cooperate and spread the word as best we can; be it message boards, twitter, Facebook, or MySpace. :]

If that was the case, they'd be airing a slew of commercials on VH1 and sister networks, have a web page up with trailers and cast bios, a media campaign with press releases and interviews to top Reality TV sites.
Heck, they would have even done little things like releasing their guide data far enough in advance so that it would show up across major providers like Time Warner and Dish.
You'd actually be able to go to VH1.com and find out when the show was airing. Heck, that it even existed!
No, VH1 is in no way airing this because they think it is going to be a golden goose...
I hate to be a bubble burster.
Ok, I'll let y'all get back to daydreaming. :D

You're totally right, Bacchus. If VH1 wanted ILM4 to do well they would have a show page up and episode descriptions. I only hope it does remotely well to warrant another. :]

Ok yea you let us get back to daydreaming we were doing perfectly fine without people antagonizing us. I mean after all this site does discourage fighting right? Seems like some should practice what they preach.
So since they decided to air this "golden goose" a year after they already had confirmed it's cancellation I am sure it has nothing to do with the networks sagging ratings.
