If I was them I would be more ****** that CT of all people would be brought in as a replacement as you could easily say goodbye to your team winning.
Wasn't it already stated that CT and Tina were NOT replacements?
When they showed CT during that commercial, I wonder if the reactions of Brad, Dunbar, and I believe it was Paula were their actual reactions to seeing him there of if they were edited in... because they looked like he was the last person they'd expect to show up. Kind of a sticky situation here... but there was some chatter before about how some castmembers were going to refuse to do a challenge if CT was going to be present because they were afraid of him becoming violent again. Well, say some of those people agreed to do this challenge with the assumption he wasn't going to be there, and then he's suddenly brought in as a replacement in the middle of the season. Wonder if that ruffled any feathers with any castmembers or not.
I think it was their actual reactions because of the "mid season" twist.
If I was them I would be more ****** that CT of all people would be brought in as a replacement as you could easily say goodbye to your team winning.
Well that's not a fair assumption to make. Regardless of his issues in the past any team would be lucky to have a fiery competitor like CT on their team who others feared. I think it would give them an edge.
"Team Brandon" or so Cara Maria Says via Twitter
Okay so some things I've noticed about the introduction of Cutthroat. Each team is already split up and the stairs and area where the teams stand are the colors of that team. Look at the stairs, the scaffolding, and the radio active barrels under the platform that the Red team is on its Red, the Gray teams stairs are Gray, and you can barely make out the Blue teams stairs. Another cool fact, the team colors are based on the colors of the Czech Republic flag. Another thing about the inside/outside dilemma, it looks as though where they are standing in this scene is outside because if you look closely behind each team you can see trees peaking over the broken wall of the arena. So I have a feeling that this is where each team announces who they are sending in The Gulag. If you watch the trailers, you see Brandon (in a Red shirt) running through what looks to be a maze of some sort (or The Gulag which are Soviet Labor camps so it makes sense why its a maze) and in the other trailer you see Dan in a foggy maze type arena with curtains that have Cutthroat sign on it. So where the teams are standing at the beginning of the trailer is outside and the actual elimination inside.
Another cool fact, the team colors are based on the colors of the Czech Republic flag.
Umm, the flag is red, blue and WHITE not gray.
This is what I see in the 55 second trailer. 1. TJ introducing the teams to Cutthroat. 2. Brad talking to someone with Tori in the background. 3. Paula talking to someone. 4. Jenn talking with Tyler smiling in the background. 5. Ty leaping from one platform to another. 6. JD reaching for something while hanging upside down. 7. Johnny swinging while hanging upside down holding something in his hand, "Stop yourself!" 8. Tyler sneezing? Or something, I don't know what the **** he's doing. 9. Dan with snot hanging from his face in the Gulag, perhaps. 10. Katie attempting the platform leap. 11. Luke, Sarah, and Laurel laughing. 12. The teams performing in a horse race challenge. 13. Derrick ramming into someone from the Gray team. 14. Jenn yelling, "All you got baby, lets go. Every second counts." Johnny is standing in the background. 15. Paula and Melinda jumping onto a swinging platform and then they fall off. 16. Dan crawling through an obstacle course. 17. Derrick running through an obstacle course. 18. Dan and Luke falling off a tight rope suspended in the air. 19. Johnny and Derrick diving into the water. 20. Guys fighting in a mud pit with riot shields. 21. Cara Maria hugging Sarah. 22. Luke cheering and the Gray team celebrating. 23. "The Challenge: Cutthroat" 24. Coming October 6

These are my people, it's red, white and blue. I think it's more likely that they chose red and blue as team colors because they have been used before and gray was just something that went well with those two. I'm confused by your step in logic here. They choose who they want to go into the Gulag outside. Then TJ's like "A'ight, now that you're all here and in the shot, we gotta announce who's going into the Gulag... and now that we've done that, let's relocate to a different place." It makes more sense to me that the Gulag is that area where they're all standing at the opening of the trailer, and that the eliminations take place there.

The only reason why I think that is because of the area where Dan and Brandon are in the other trailer that maze looking thing. Idk dude, I'm just speculating isn't that what this thread is for. If you don't agree with me thats cool, I highly doubt I'm right, so who cares really.
Can someone explain that to me? Looks like that one part in the Wanted movie. Where he fights the butcher.
It's probably the entrance to a mission or maybe the Gulag or even the voting area. The symbol is the logo for the challenge. I don't really know what else you want explained since we don't know all the mission details or what a lot of places look like yet. Your guess is as good as mine.

A Gulag was a hard labor camp in the Soviet Union, so I didn't understand why you connected it to a maze. The deal with Brandon and Can in the maze thing looks like just another mission to me. I think that the Gulag elimination rounds will be held in that area shown when TJ welcomes everyone to the Challenge. I'm pretty sure that the rest of the cast watches what happens as well judging by the clips of Brad, Paula, and others' reactions.

He's been hosting since I started watching the challenge shows, and that was years ago.

He's in his thirties now and I'm sure BMP pays him a good sum of money to host the Challenges. I assume he'll keep doing it as long as they keep asking him.

He brought us the following series: Fresh Meat-(1&2) The Duel-(1&2) The Island-(1) The Ruins-(1) Cutthroat-(1) He become part of the cast and part of the challenges. The competitors have come to build a rapport with him.(With the exception of a couple.)When he explains the rules or instructions, he is very simple, quick and easy-to-understand. Despite the fact, I just don't get the directions of some challenges. I'm like "Whaaaa?"lol. But, I think he's cool. Keep on doing what you do, TJ! and let's GO Grey Team! I wonder who TJ is rooting for to win Cutthroat?
If you look at the Cutthroat trailer, the one that is 55 seconds long. If you pause at 15 or 16 seconds in the jumping platform misson you can see a line with every memeber wearing a gray lifejacket. There is Ty, Jenn, Theresa, Eric, and Emilee who are all on the blue team, but wearing gray with minor green. They aren't wearing blue under armours "like the challenge t-shirts" I wonder what that is all about. Im guessing it is to determine who is captain. But then again.. somebody falls at 0:24 and there jacket straps off with the blue shirt under.
[strike]hey guys i´m new here. i noticed something at the end of the trailer you can see the gray team celebrating. so they have probably won a challenge. so the gray team have won a challenge before ayiiia was sent home. they didnt win the second and third one because shauvon and jd were sent home then so they won the first challenge. does that makes sense ?
He also did The Gauntlet 2.
Yes, but he didn't introduce the Gauntlet or the Inferno. Thats why those two challenges aren't on the list.

It could have been something like everyone on their team was screwing up and finally someone did it right. It's possible that they won the first challenge but I don't think we can say that based on the team cheering.
Just because the team is celebrating doesn't mean they won a challenge. It could have been something like everyone on their team was screwing up and finally someone did it right. It's possible that they won the first challenge but I don't think we can say that based on the team cheering.
Yes we can because if you look in the spoiler thread there is a spoiler that says the Gray team went on a three challenges losing streak. Then look at the elimination list. In challenge 1, Derek/Emilee go home, so either Gray or Red win. In episode 2, JD/Mandi go home, so that means that the Blue team won the 2nd challenge. In episode 3, Vinny/Shauvon go home, which means the Gray doesn't win because two players go home. And in episode 4, Ayiiia/Ty go home, which means the Red team wins. So the Gray team does in fact win the first challenge because they go on a 3-challenge losing streak in episode 2, 3, and 4, so if they didn't win the 1st challenge it'd be a 4 challenge losing streak. The Gray team also wins the 5th challenge because once again they go on a 3 challenge losing streak, so if they don't win the 5th challenge, then it'd be a 4 challenge losing streak once again. So challenges 1 and 5 belong to the Gray team.
This is what I see in the "Are You Cutthroat" trailer: 1. Jenn looking through a scope of what looks to be a weapon of some sort. 2. "Are You Cutthroat?" 3. Quarantine curtains with the Cutthroat logo and a man standing behind the curtains. 4. Teams fighting surrounded by bails of hay. 5. A red team member ramming someone with a riot shield. 6. The hay bail challenge again. 7. Brandon running through a maze looking place, with another person in a Red shirt behind him. 8. Tyler and someone walking a tight rope. 9. Tyler's legs 10. Arial view of a red pair on the tight rope. 11. Theresa and Johnny walking the tight rope. 12. Red team members falling of the right rope. 13. POV shot of Katie running to jump a platform. 14. Katie attempting to jump the platform. 15. Riot shield POV shot. 16. Hay bails challenge POV shot. 17. Abram and Laurel holding a metal thing. 18. A red guy and gray guy crawling on the ground under maybe a hay bail. 19. Looks like Derrick pouring water on himself or something, I'm not sure what this is. 20. Derrick on the ground in the hay bail challenge. 21. Katie slamming her face onto the platform as she attempts the challenge. (I'm pretty sure this is why Katie has a bruised face in the other trailer.) 22. Someones leg. 23. Brad jumping on bails of hay. 24. The horse race challenge. 25. Two guys jumping on the swing mechanism. 26. Brad shooting a weapon. 27. POV shot of two people falling into the water and yelling. 28. POV shot of someones arm plopping onto the grass. 29. "The Challenge: Cutthroat" 30. Coming October 6th.

Chet, Brad, Dunbar, and Tori are on the RED team.
1) It is still possible the gray team lost the first mission. In fact, it's highly likely considering they have Shauvon on their team. 2) You still cannot say that the gray team won the first challenge solely based on that video clip. That is what I was saying.
Good to know. I wasn't saying that it wasn't possible, I just didn't think that the clip on the trailer was enough evidence. Thanks, Molds. :)
Well, it kind of is. You can see Luke, Laurel, and Ayiiia all celebrating something. Since the gray team was in all the eliminations leading up to Ayiiia's elimination...it had to be one. No one celebrates second place...
